My omelette was absolutely phenomenal. I am not sure if it was the people making the food or not, but my husband got the cajun a few days ago and again today, and he said the one today was much better. Our bagels were great as usual. I wish breakfast lasted longer though, they stop at 11
Bagels were good, but c.r.a.z.y. long wait. They need a bigger toaster.
Fantastic food and even better service. We stopped by for breakfast today and were delighted when we saw there was no line. This was the first time we had been here and it certainly won’t be the last. Our eggs were delicious and the bagels were fresh and warm. The girl at the register, I forgot her name, but she was incredibly helpful and friendly. She recommended I got the war eagle, and she was spot on. Very friendly staff, phenomenal food, highly recommend.
Breakfast, lunch, any time really, all the food is amazing. Homemade bagels, and top it off with homemade bagel chips!
Food was decent, but what put this over the top was the cashier Katelynn. She truly cares and it shows. Great job.
Eat at your own risk. I love the food here, but unfortunately Big Blue Bagels doesnt seem to care much for the safety of their community. There were staff without masks making food. Other employees were not wearing masks correctly. There was also no enforcement of masks in line. Ill only be returning if these policies are enforced.
Great food and service! AH-mazing bagel chips!!
Used to love this place! Now, not so much. I waited 25 mins for a simple bagel to-go order when people behind me were getting their orders left and right. Finally was asked for my name since I had been standing there for a while. I was told they had called my name a few times and that they knew I “must have been in the bathroom.” I told them that I had been standing attentive in that spot the entire time, and in response I was told that “you were definitely in the bathroom.” This is compared to them yelling other’s names (all of which I noticed, as people who placed orders behind me in line were getting their food) and going right up to people giving asking if it was their food. Good bagels, but not worth being argued with by the runners.
First ever stop in Auburn, and this was one of the few places open when we arrived. Got the cinnamon bagel with the cinnamon raisin walnut cream cheese. quite simply, one of the best bagels Ive ever tasted. Period. Super fresh. Soft inside, crispy outside. Cream cheese was sublime. My wife got an Everything bagel with a different cream cheese and said same. Was quite simply one of the best bagel experiences weve ever had. You must stop in here when you are in downtown Auburn.
I came in yesterday looking forward to a simple meal after having a really bad day and I got a lot more than that. The guy working behind the register, (I didn’t catch his name but he was wearing a hat) was very nice and asked me how my day was going. I was honest and said not great. When he went to make my food another employee started talking to me to cheer me up. When I got home to eat my food I found they had put 2 cookies in the bag without even saying a word about it to me. Excellent staff who actually care and amazing food. This is why I love Auburn and Big Blue.
I came through here with my dad when we we were going through Auburn to go to new Orleans. This place is a nice little place to go to of you want breakfast. Their omelettes are pretty good and I really like the blueberry bagel I got with it.
Big Blue is a downtown Auburn staple. Their food is fresh and the bagels are cooked in store. The bagel chips are the best! They will change how you view bagels. And chips. I mean, they are BAGEL CHIPS!
I have been here 2 times till now and both times my experience was good. The bagel variety made me feel good, the price is descent and taste I liked as compared to bagels I have tried till now. Overall a nice place, nice people and good service.
Okay so heres the thing I got a job here and I worked there all of two hours. The first thing they have me do was prepare fruit. The strawberries were moldy they had me throw away the moldy ones and wash and slice the other they served it to their customers I was appalled. Their ice machine was leaking and there was mildew everywhere, theyre washing station for dishes was disgusting. They have leaking pipes in the back of their building that are leaking septic, there was a tomato plant growing out of it (NO they did not serve those tomatoes to their customers) Im not one of those who worship gold, so you couldnt pay me enough to serve moldy fruit and walk around mildewy mildewy floors (by the way if you had ice in your drink it came from are leaking machine which was disgusting and had mold.) They had me clean up the septic mess in the back with a broom... That Was Then brought back into the store and used for sweeping up the kitchen. I cant believe theyre still open. I called the health department and they told me that they already knew about that place and that they had a much lower health and safety score then the manager told me. There are a bunch of other things that you guys dont care about because it wouldnt affect you, but their freezer door was missing its handle thats a safety violation there meat slicer which was not clean only had three legs and it wobble precariously as I tried to slice Bagels. I would never eat there.
Best bagels in town
Always have to eat breakfast here at least once during our stays in Auburn. Love their bagels and omelets!
Great bagel sandwich. Made my dau
If anyone asks me for a good breakfast recommendation in Auburn, Big Blue Bagel is the first place I suggest. Its unique and very good with many different options and styles available to make your order about as customized as possible. And that isnt even mentioning the very relaxing environment good for studying or meeting with others
Great food and atmosphere. The Big Blue wrap is my go to meal, and the wrap is HUGE. Bagel chips made fresh. This place is worth a stop on your Auburn tour.
Great breakfast spot. Expect a line though.
Friendly staff and good food! Line can get a little long but call in orders are avaliable. I would love to see them turn off the voicemail feature though because if they dont answer the phone on the first few rings it goes to their catering inbox.
Great food!
Nice little spot if youre meeting someone, but I wouldnt go out of my way to come here. 3 stars just because I could literally make the bagels at home with store bought items.
Really enjoyed this place! Great omelette and pumpernickel bagel with strawberry cream cheese.
Absolutely love this place! Plenty of room for groups and they have a good selection of bagel and non bagel sandwiches, pretty much anything youre in the mood for! Their fresh fruit side is actually fresh and has a really good selection which I really appreciate. Also, their staff is top notch, everyone Ive met there has a great sense of humor and are very nice.
I actually love this place. The food is so amazing and with great prices. There are so many delicious options and it’s a really cute place too!! I would recommend eating here a million times.
This is one of my favourite places to eat in Auburn, and I go here at least once every week for good reason. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is great, and the food is, of course, fantastic! There are lots of combinations of bagels and cream cheese (reasonably priced!), as well as many sandwiches and sides. The restaurant is always packed on weekends, especially game days, but if waiting in line for a delicious meal isnt your thing, you can always go on weekday mornings, when the wait is five minutes at most. Id definitely recommend Big Blue Bagel to anyone living in or just stopping through Auburn.
An Auburn staple! I love coming here for breakfast. Definitely get there early because the line can get long. My favorite bagel is the Cajun turkey with tomato. I order it to-go every time Im in town.
Blue Bagel is simply delicious. They have a variety of items from bagels to sub/bagel sandwiches to salads. Blue Bagel is a great option for lunch with the Tiger Melt selected as one of the best items in Alabama. The general atmosphere of the restaurant is poor and kind of off putting. For example, the chairs are in dire need of replacement with the cushioning simply missing from some of them (please update these!). I gave the place 5 stars because of the food, the friendless of the staff, and the fact that its one of the few local restaurants that give the chain restaurants a run for their money. If youre looking for a quick bite definitely try Blue Bagel. Give the tiger melt and/or chicken salad a try. Make sure to get some bagel chips and cream cheese as a side!
I came to town for a class and one of the students referred me to the big blue bagel. I must say the atmosphere was great, customer service was awesome, and the food was delicious. When I stop in the next time this place will definitely be on my list to dine in again.
Good bagels but they are slow in preparing the order. They need more employees. The store looks old and unclean from the inside.
Very popular place. Expect LONG waits....like 40 minutes for two sandwiches. They were good but missed lettuce and tomatoes...I assume they ran out as they did other items due to busy morning. I would would think they do much better at normal levels of business as it was parent week end.
When they brag about their incredibly helpful, considerate, and knowledgeable staff, they have the skills to back it up! Great place for a quick breakfast on a Sunday morning outing.
The food here is good but the transition from breakfast to lunch menu needs fixing. I showed up at 10:45am to get breakfast. Waited in line for 20 minutes to order and was told at 11:05am that I couldn’t order breakfast. I will not be waiting in line at Big Blue again. Not saying I’ll never eat there, but no more waiting in line.
Fantastic bagels and a great price! Great vibe inside especially if guy are an auburn fan. Very friendly and home feeling.
Tried the Cajun bagel sandwich, definitely recommend! Bagel was perfectly toasted.
A must have while in Auburn!I could live off their wonderful bagel chips!!Great staff! Chill atmosphereAwesome food and great flavor of Auburn sports!!!
I love this place! The staff is always so friendly and the food is great! They work quickly too so theres not a long wait at all!
Great bagels! Really tasty! Well be back again!
The food here is alright if youre looking for something small and quick. Theres usually a line to order if you go in for breakfast while school is in session. The past couple times Ive been in there hasnt been a clean table top to sit at because no one was bussing the dirty tables.
Great food, prices and service. However the kitchen where the food is prepared could definitely use some renovations and cleaning.
Its difficult to actually rate this place based on an experience of waiting in line about 40 minutes to put an order in for a bagel. We gave up after basically running out of standing room and the line stopped moving. Smelled good, though.
There is no greater bagel.
Nice place. Clean. Fast service. Good bagel sandwiches. Great use of old bagels turning them into chips. Worth a stop.
Best breakfast in town. Get there early. Has nice music playing and grateful dead posters on the wall. Cool vibe.
Front door was locked and there was no sign on the door saying to go around the back. Then we knocked somebody inside yelled at us but how were we supposed to know to go around back?? Not impressed and they have lost my business!!!
Good food, good comfort food, good camaraderie, right on campus, super busy location youre right in the heart of campus . And that was for a weekend breakfast.Busy afternoon and weekend schedule as well
None of the food is made from scratch. the bagels are brought in and just warmed up here. the cooks don’t wear gloves while prepping and they’re rude.
Cool place and good atmosphere. Lots of smiles this Saturday morning, good vibes. The Cajun bagel is okay but the eggs could be improved...
This my favourite place for breakfast. I usually go for the Cajun omlette with Cream cheese bagel ( Blueberry) and perhaps a bowl of fresh fruits.I totally recommend this place.😊
Avoid this place at all costs. Theyre cons suck. I got eggs and they were so over done they were brown, burnt and hard. The price was pretty high just for a bagel. Why does it cost more for flavored stuff? Just dont go here.
Awesome bagels and breakfast / brunch options. It is a small place so there may be a wait for a table, but definitely worth it.
Got a 🥓 egg and cheese on a plain bagel. It was good. Wish they had tabasco sauce (they have packets of an inferior hot sauce)& opened earlier than 7
Great in town bagel shop. Sweet staff, great everything bagels
Love love loveeee!!! Love the staff very friendly and the atmosphere is so chill. If you go make sure you get the bagel chips...so yummy!
Delicious and relaxed! My wife and I stopped in the morning after an Auburn home game and it was a perfect start to a lazy Sunday morning.
Always insanely busy but the food is worth the wait
Love this place. Food is always great.
Delicious! Good selection and great atmosphere
Great food good service and atmosphere. We eat here every time we come to Auburn
Bagel chips are incredible and the service doesnt take too long if theyre busy.
I love the bagel sandwiches! Always good food and never too busy
Good staff. Good food. Good location. Eat here!@! Order the bagel chips.
Very busy, but awesome and friendly staff, and great food to wake up with! Will be back a bit after we get moved here.
Staff is great! Bagels are small and dry. Make sure to get some butter on that cinnamon and sugar bagel!
Great Auburn staple. However, they stop serving bagels at 10:30, and its what theyre known for. Wish the hours were extended a bit.
Always tasty food and friendly folks. Bonus: It smells great in here. 😀
Great place to get a great bagel!
Not a big fan of bagels until I tried this place! Delicious and had great cream cheese options to put on the bagels!
They need to go to NY to learn how to make a bagel and put more than a teaspoon of cream cheese on it.
Cant stop going there..must be a good place..
Nice atmosphere and good food
First time eating here. Everything was fresh and delicious. I will be back.
Great bagels and cream cheese. Staff could have been a little friendlier.
First time I went they didnt bake the bagel completely and it was soft and mushy. Second time got a hot bagel sandwich for lunch, it was perfect!
A bit of a wait but the breakfast was righteous.
Great food and atmosphere
Great food, wonderful War Eagle atmosphere!!!
They could work on the cleanliness. Good food however!
Love this place. I eat breakfast here every morning I am in Auburn.
Best bagel I ever eaten!!! It was fresh and warm, and soooo good!
Great food but worst msmaged place ever
Loved stopping in for breakfast on the way to class. Great food!
Good breakfast place.
The specials are always good for breakfast and lunch!
I have never delt with a more rude staff of employees at a restaurant before. One employee even hung up on me while I was trying to get an order. I will never be going back to this place. Very disappointed in their terrible service towards the custom. Their management should be ashamed of who they have hired.
Excellent bagels!
Not real bagels. Basically an unglazed donut. Goldbergs from Atlanta needs to open a restaurant here.
An unassuming spot on College with delicious bagels and breakfast.
Big Blue Bagel is becoming a Saturday morning tradition! Service is great and fiod is delicious!
Great breakfast.
I attend this place every sunday morning! Excellent food and excellent atmosphere!
Great bagels, but the eggs needs more flavor, and the place looks old
Nice local joint, good place for a breakfast meeting with friends.
