WARNING, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! We purchased an older model Gem from them. They told us it had been serviced, brakes were checked, everything was in running order. We drove it up a hill, the engine cut out, it rolled backwards fast. The brakes and emergency brakes did not work. There were 4 of us in the cart. We all jumped out and the cart rolled backwards down the hill, hitting a tree. It was totaled. We were lucky to be alive. We had our adult children with us. They were traumatized. We had it towed back to Nor Cal golf carts. We left messages, emails. We never heard back from them. We were out $3,000 and devastated about the experience. I am not sure how you run a business like that. It’s appalling that they never contacted us. We were written off.
Terrible, frustrating, and regret. Thats how we describe our experience with Nor-Cal Carts. Our brand new cart has had problems from the very beginning. Nick is lackadaisical, put the problem on us to resolve with the manufacturer, and we had to insist he finally get involved to be our advocate as the dealer who sold the cart. Even with factual data and videos showing there is a problem with our cart compared side-by-side to other Evolution Carts, Nick still is not advocating for us. So wish we had bought elsewhere. The lack of professionalism and client care is appalling. It shouldnt take an entire year to fix a problem, which still isnt even fixed. Hoping we wont have to end up in court to get our money back for this terrible purchase.
The owner nick knows his stuff. Batteries ect.
Prices were good and service was awesome!
Best in well in preparing used golf cars at reasonable prices.
