This was my favorite place to shop in Auburn…but not anymore!About 2 years ago Fred Meyer started charging $0.50 if you wanted cash back from a debit card purchase!They also have paper grocery bags, which I always prefer, but their paper bags have no handles which make it very difficult to transport your groceries from your car to your home…and if you’re a senior, it can be harder!I’ve started doing my shopping at Safeway!Fred Meyer 👎🏽

Its a Fred Meyers. Not a very good one. There are several others in the area that are better than this one. You can probably find whatever youre looking for here but if it is locked in a cabinet do not expect to be leaving anytime soon.

Coming from East coast.. this shop seems massive. Theres everything under one roof.. from alcohol to fresh produce, clothing to home goods. Plenty of parking place. This location is not that crowded which makes it a nice place to shop.

BEWARE! I got cash back here and $20 was FAKE! I couldnt use it for gas around the corner, at Arco. When I came back and tried to return it, they said they couldnt do anything and to try my bank! Since its the wknd and I WORK for a living, I cannot go to the bank with Fred Meyers fake 20 for a couple of days.... Be smart and NEVER get cash back here!!!

No bags with handles, impossible to carry something though presumedly I pay for the normal ones. Dont go there without your own bag (which IMHO is a terrible user experience).

I would put zero Stars if I could. They advertise that they cash government checks, but they dont. It would be nice if a company actually did what they said theyre going to do so you didnt have to waste your time coming all the way down to the store for nothing. Id stay away from the Fred Meyer in Auburn they dont seem to know what theyre doing. Fred Meyer unemployment is a government check.

Store is very clean and aisles are adequately organized. Produce is of very good quality. good quality meats. Krogers Simple Truth brand can offer mind-bogglingly good deals on organic products (especially meat). Above average selection of products.Sightly more expensive than more economical grocery stores like WinCo, but the higher quality of the meat/produce is well worth it in my opinion for a one-stop shopping experience. Best grocery store Ive found in the area

I think the Starbucks needs to hire new people. Not only did I sit there for 5 minutes unacknowledged, but the lady was clearly looking the other way to purposely ignore me standing at the register waiting to be helped, or even talked to. The other lady wrote down my drink on the cup (like Starbucks does) and even put “stir” on it. The lady that ignored me also ignored the notes on the cup and didn’t even make the right drink, worst coffee ever. And when I went back to see if they could remake it no one was there at all! They closed or something it was 5:50 and the hours posted said 7pm. Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a “Starbucks” piss poor attitude and piss poor coffee.

Was harrassed by cheryl and followed and then screamed at to leave the store while waiting for medication

Today is April 28th 2021. At about 12:30 PM at Auburn deli I had the bad luck to meet the rudest employee. She not only ignored us, but continued talking to a gentleman about masks and conspiracy theories. She had know intention on letting us know that we were important to her job or company. As she finally said what can I get for you, my son replied 1/2 pound 46% lower sodium boars head turkey. Her reply was 46% WHAT? Chicken, beef, I said TURKEY. All I could think was that women knows, she only has the product right in front of her and is obviously giving us a hard time . She turned a way and started singing, happy people, happy people loud enough for us to hear she continued to taunt us. Now there is a lot of really nice caring people who would love to have a job and a pay check. Maybe Fred Meyer needs to take a hard look at who is representing their store, along with the Boarshead deli company. I will think twice about spending money at your store or advise friends and family not do so.

I’ve been shopping here for two years and have very few complaints. The store is generally clean, organized, and well stocked. A recent remodel has everyone searching for items new locations, but new aisle markers really help! I’ve been pleased with the cashiers, store clerks, management and pharmacy. The gas station is pretty well lit and pumps are usually all in working order. This location offers much more than only groceries and personal care items. Check out the fresh sushi and deli snacks, or grab a coffee from the new Starbucks kiosk inside. We even buy our Christmas tree here every year.

Always a joy to go to this location. From the greeters as soon as you walk in, the helpful staff/stock men and women to that help you find anything, the cheerful cashiers and even the pharmacy staff. Keep up the great work freddies!

Tried to exchange an instant pot I was given as a Christmas gift. It was malfunctioning on its second use and I wanted to just exchange it for a new-or get in store credit. They were all very dismissive and rude, I will NEVER buy a big ticket item from here again. All they would have had to do is return it to the manufacturer. So I will take my business elsewhere and be happy to do so.

Decent store overall. Pretty clean and organized for the most part. Does get crowded here. Would probably return and recommend.

I wanted to give a shoutout to the lady in your floral department, I think her name was Gretchen or something like that, the area is lovely right now, perfectly in order which is nice to see in such a busy store as this one. Even though she seemed busy she made time fore me and was very sweet and helpful, one of the nicest FM employees Ive met in Auburn.

Friendly employees. Most of my time was spent in pharmacy but did pick up some yummy sushi from the deli.

We bought flowers for Valentines, they had a great selection.. while getting some veggies & fruit we needed. 🙂

Worst customer service, people who work in returns also are always on the phone, and lines could be around 20 people and they wouldn’t care. Never again.

Really big, clean, nice supermarket! They even sell our brand of liquor! Big parking lot so I could park my semi truck

The deli is never open... even during posted hours. Staff does not care and the lines to purchase the packaged meat take longer than going to Safeway down the street.

Management has always been awesome so are the checkers and welcome people very please with this location.

If you choose to work in customer service, dealing with the pubic, you should like people or dont work in a department that does! I like fred meyers but more then once I have been treated rudely at the customer service department(Auburn only) please evaluate your employees & move ones to different department that dont like dealing with public. Very disappointed

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I had to wait for almost two hours for my pickup order. I only ordered 14 items! They just kept saying it is ready, it is ready... When finally they brought my items, there was so much missing stuff... I wont ever go back to this location.

Their Food deli stated open til 9pm but show up 10min befofe theybclose, no food out evrrything put away, why state open til a timr but close up way before...

We have lived in Auburn for a year and a half. And because Fred Meyers was j ust around the corner we started to shop there. Now we continue to shop there, but now because we enjoy every aspect of the store. The employees are friendly & knowledgeable. The store is kept stocked & very clean. Some prices are a bit high. But regardless all in all its our choice for just about everything. We just got gas for $1.98 a gallon. So no complaints today!😉

I was having the hardest time finding skewers and due to the renovation and things not really having a place yet, so were some of the people I asked for help. So many people had tried to help me, but to no avail.April had seen someone walking with me earlier so when I approached her letting her know I still had not found any, she helped me look too. Eventually we settled on some marshmallow skewers figuring I could cut them in half and she gave me a discount since it had been such a hassle.Well while I was checking out this amazing women walks up to me with normal sized skewers! She had actually gone through some of the boxes in the back and dug some up for me!She is absolutely top notch and I appreciate her and her team so much for helping me out.

This is a full-packaged grocery store. They got everything we needed. My fiancé and I are regulars here.

Do not go to this pharmacy. I get calls saying my prescription is ready.. go to pick it up and it’s not. This happens quite often. Twice now when going to pick up my prescription is wasn’t even in stock, they said it would be in the following day but it wasn’t. I ended up having to get the prescription transferred to the Federal Way pharmacy. The staff is never friendly and it feels like I’m in an inconvenience to them. The grocery staff however is always great.

This has been my go to shopping center for years, they have everything I need and its convenient. But, it has taken a turn lately. Homeless people lingering inside and out, glass all over the parking lot from people having their cars broken into, no wipes for the cart when I walk in, and just generally becoming run down. Hopefully the manager will step up their game....

I am revising a previous review, when I commented that they were not practicing safe covid guidelines. That day and time I still feel that way. But I did try going earlier another day and it was a lot better. Still no one way isles.

Worst grilled chicken I never have is too dry and has no flavored at all no seasoning too same with potatoes edges wasted of money for my opinion I’m eating it because I don’t liked to waste the food lol I’m not going back to buy more lol

There were 8 people in the store without masks on. The staff did not have the courage to correct them and just let it happen.

Am from out of town, could not find help, when I finally did they pointed and walked away. Did find an awesome customer who went out of her way to help me. Bless her. The stores appearance was pretty shabby compared to the one in my home neighborhood.

One stop place, they have great selection but sometimes hard to find help. If you want to get groceries and other house hold goods, they Jane a better selection than Safeway or QFC.

Store has almost every thing! Auto supplies to clothes and grocery items. Good customer service counter. They know their job. Always helpful. Produce section is always well stocked and fresh. Adequate parking and rewards earnings make your gas fill up cheap.

Went to the garden center entrance thst clearly stated doorsclose at 9 p.m.They were closed at 8 45. Had to walk from there to the otherside to get in just to walk all the way back to the garden area to get what we needed.If you post 9 then wait till 9

Ive been an Auburn Fred Meyers customer for 30 years. This location iswell planned out. Items are easy to find and if you cant, they willingly stop and take you to it. Pharmacy is outstanding.

One of my new friends live down this way so I checked out the Fred Meyer with them so we can pick out decorations. They actually have a great selection and quality merchandise not used to having one of these around so I found a new place along with Target I really like. Costco Target and Fred Meyer are my stores

The customer service I have received, the workers I have asked for help, and the produce I have gotten here is beyond amazing! The prices are decent!

A large nice grocery store. Not a very large clothing department. They had some households Electronics and gardening area. Customer service in the clothing department was absolutely zero. This was an average Fred Meyer store compared to others in western Washington.

I love the convenience and the fact that its One Stop Shop I can find pretty much anything I need including Pharmacy its clean and fairly quick to get in and out

They have the best, most reasonably priced organic store brand. Their other prices are decent. They have a great produce section with some unique options along with the usual fruits and veggies. They have a good selection of salads, sandwiches, hot deli food and sushi. Theres even vegan sushi, too. The seating area of the deli have coffee, milkshakes, soda, and icees. In the entrance there are 3 cart options: kids cart, small and regular size. You can fill up refillable water jugs there, too. Customer service can often have long lines but somewhat tolerable. The pharmacy has lines sometimes and very little seating. There is no longer a Starbucks attached to the outside of this location. I wish the nutrition section was a bit bigger.

I am a regular customer. I am in the store 2- 3 times a week. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The produce dept has excellent employees. One in particular is Carl. His customer service skills are outstanding. Always willing to assist me and others to find the best fruits and vegetables at great prices.Makes my visits nice.

Awesome. Customer service exceptional, I made a couple of changes to money I was sending, Saundra was all smiling and accommodating.Then someone fainted at the door, the response was less than 2 minutes. I was impressed.

Not impressed, AT ALL. Employees followed my son, all over the store, being obvious that they thought he was stealing. Then when he tried to purchase a columbia jacket and a nike shirt, they told him the coupon he had wasnt valid for the brands he wanted. There were a few brands listed on the coupon, as not valid, but those 2 brands were not listed.All the while, Im outside waiting in the truck and an employee getting carts hits my truck across the front with some carts. Doesnt apologize, or do/say anything. Had i been in a nice car i wouldve been livid. Or a smart car wouldve been totalled!

Good collection, reasonable prices. Produce section is good with variety of fresh produce. Folks are nice and polite.Even during rush hours it is easy to find parking space.

Fred Meyer has almost everything you need in one place. The prices are decent and the quality is good. They keep the bathrooms clean and are pretty helpful.

The best grocery store in Auburn. Employees are usually quick and friendly. Everything need is typically in stock. They really make an effort to try preventing the checkout lines from getting too long, compared to most other stores. I dont usually need to use the Customer Service line; however, that one is often extremely long.

The grocery was friendly and offered an unsuspected taste test of a fresh crate of grapes that were delicious. Service was very fast at checkout as the next aisle checker rushed me through. The jeweler helped me through the entire process of making a purchase without being pushy or inpatient with me at all. This was a great holiday experience.

Its a pretty decent Fred Meyer, not much different from the others. Pretty friendly staff, well kept and with a decent variety of stuff. My only gripe is that the stores layout is labyrinthine in design, especially when compared to other locations like the Fred Meyer in Puyallup.

If I could give no STAR I should. All employees and the manager doesnt know how coupons world and how it works. They were saying that you cannot mixed their MEGA SAVING and manufactures from news paper to save more money. MEGA Event is your own store promotion.Manufacture is private company that send in the mail to save more money or you pay for them. I just dont understand, they are giving a wrong information to someone know how the coupon works.Example: The pantene shampoo, they have this promotion if you buy 5 you save 5 dollar and you have a 5 dollar manufacture if you buy 3, this what they said you cannot use it because they already giving you a mega saving. ( remember this is your store coupon) do not confuse manufacture coupons. And their customer service is terrible and its very inconvenient. You guys should able to learn and understanding how coupon works. People like to save money.

My family went to the bakery department here for my sons 3rd birthday cake, they had two weeks to make the cake and gave us the wrong cake.

Best one stop shopping in Auburn downtown area. Toy department is good. Lots of grocery specialty items I dont find elsewhere.

Great store with a large variety of organic foods, cheaper foods, and both good quality. If you a Fred Meyer points card, you get gas points AND you get coupons in the mail with things that you actually buy. You also get rewards money when you spend a certain amount in the store. Occasionally they throw in some new things for you to try.

I have been shopping @ Fred Meyer since it opened, North Auburn. There has has been several upgrades along the way. The digital coupons do wk very nicely. The store is very clean and well supplied. What I have enjoyed the most is the Auburn Fred Meyer Team very helpfull and focused, many thanks 👍👍👍.!!

Its my first time in America (Seattle)and I love Fred Meyer. I can purchase whatever I want. they also have homeland beer from Europe (:most of all i like the vegetables - free - give away bar for kids

I moved to Auburn in Feb. And this store is closest to my home. I met Terri the cashier and she is so sweet and caring. she always has a smile on her face and she treats everyone like family. Thank you for having such great employees like her

The Auburn store is a well run and clean store. I find the staff to be helpful and friendly, especially the cashiers and pharmacy staff. If there is something missing from the shelves, I can usually ask an employee to check and they will help me find my item, or check to see if there is any product elsewhere. It is a clean store and I enjoy shopping there.

As a senior who shops here regularly, I do not like the new app coupons. I dont use internet and can barely use my phone. I dont believe its fair to exclude seniors or anyone else who cannot or does not understand how to use the new system. I could have saved $15 dollars today if I understood the app and coupons.

I’ve never been to a grocery store where it was such an inconvenience to ask for help when trying to find an item I was unaware was sold out. I asked 2 separate employees for the location of 2 different items and both were extremely rude, let out a huge sigh and rolled his eyes at me. I brushed it off and headed to checkout with my groceries. My cashier was ALSO rude! She didn’t talk to me or greet me, which whatever, people have long days but what had really upset me was her tossing my groceries into bags not caring about bruising my produce and proceeded to tell me it was my fault that she got confused on how to work her register and ring me up. Definitely not coming back to this Safeway.

It has good products that other stores dont have. Newmans own and good stuff like that! Better deli than Wal-Mart. Can be slow in the self check out. I dont frequent their electronic section either.

Like Moscow on the Green River! Empty shelves?! Pardon me... Moscow does not deserve the insult! Soviet beaureucrats at least made sure stores were stocked full with the basics before a national holiday, even if they were empty the rest of the year. I could not find eggs and butter in this store on the evening before Thanksgiving... No complaints from me about the store. But the people complaining about the animals in the basket is kind of ridiculous because Im sure not one person complaining has an animal! they would obviously keep it in a box even if they had one! Its amazing that the human race has made it this far or at least Washington people, as sensitive as they are. Dont break a nail!

Store has easy layout. Bathroom was terrible !! During pandemic you would assume they would be clean and sterilized.

Has self checkout and two different sized carts. I always use the small ones but sometimes they run out! I guess the small carts are popular and its hard to keep them stocked. :( Great store!

As far as Freds goes, this store is great. Helpful employees. Great selection. The parking lot could be kept cleaner than it is. Traffic flow in and out is kind of annoying.

They have a good selection of salads, sandwiches, hot deli food and sushi. Service was very fast at checkout as the next aisle checker rushed me through.

Good store for local grocery shopping when you dont feel like driving to Costco or Winco. Closes early at 11 pm which is unfortunate but good selection, good prices, clean, and faster than average checkout speed. I usually only buy a couple items here and do most of my grocery shopping at Costco which is the best store but I come here for bread and misc food.

Everyone is so pleasant and they have amazing customer service especially the guy in the bakery I wish I had his name.. I love my store I might spend more money but ours worth it for the experience.. Thank you Fred Meyers employees for making my day every time I shop there!

Every Fred Meyer is great but this one I give extra praise to👏🙇‍♂️because their bakery is so good. I always go there for birthday cakes 🍰 so good!!!

I came on a Friday night and it was pretty busy as to be expected, but there were plenty of lines open. The wait was not what I would call short per se, but the checker was very friendly and worked hard to get us on our way. Good prices and deals too.

On Wednesday June 10 2020 I walked in this Fred Meyers in Auburn and seen a big rat running around on the air duct I approached an associate about it and they stated “yes I just seen 2 a bit ago”. Not a place we’re I wanna buy my food. Poor service

Im always satisfied with every visit. The staff are always welcoming and help me or my family out when needed. There clothing department doesnt have as much of a selection as the one in Puyallup, but neither does the one in Federal Way. They keep up on the cleaning as well here.

I love this store. You get what you pay for, quality wise, and it lasts a long time. Whether its clothing, shoes or household items. I really love how professional and kind the deli and bakery staff are, too. They always greet you with a smile and go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. I have never had a negative experience at this bakery or deli. (Bakery and Deli staff are the real rock stars of great customer service. I am proud of our Auburn Fred Meyer bakery and Deli Staff). I also love how there are fresh fruits in the fruits and vegetables aisles that are free! I have never seen that before, ever, at any store. Another thing that I really love about this store is the natural foods section just across from the bakery. I am beginning to change my eating habits/ ways and Auburn Fred Meyer has a section of their store for organic, healthier, more natural foods. Soy products. Many different variations of tea. Fresh herbs. Etc. And I love it. Its not a full natural foods store but its the next best thing for you. (me). The only real issue that I have encountered while shopping there was the electrical carts not always being fully charged. But, that just depends on how many shoppers use the carts and when. I would imagine most stores have this problem at any given moment. (Some of my relatives and loved ones need the electrical carts and sometimes they dont have any available or have any fully charged). But, this store has great employees who provide excellent customer service.

Smaller Fred Myers but staff is friendly.. one of the better Freddys to have staffed and lines are never to long like their surrounding stores. Its always clean and parking isnt bad
