Every time I go in Michaels it seems theyve rearranged it and no longer carry what I need to finish my project. Aisles are narrow and have choke points along the walls so social distance is not doable here. Some staff are very helpful but you have to find then first. Good place to browse for ideas but if you want something specific save the trouble and order online. I give it three because its there and does fill a need.

Went in looking for some craft supplies for my kiddos to make a birthday present for their mother. We browsed for a bit to find exactly what we needed, and had some assistance finding one special item. I had a coupon, which gave us a great deal on top of it all. The only detraction from our visit is feeling like a criminal when you step into the pen/colored pencil aisle. It makes me feel like buying razor blades at the pharmacy... Clearly, this item is both small and overpriced or people wouldnt be stealing them in droves. Maybe just put that whole section of singles in a space behind the registers. We know you have the space there.. its practically the Labyrinth to get to check out.

Bathrooms were disgusting. The place is very uninviting. The store looked run down and didnt have much product on the shelves. It was definitely a disappointment going there. I wont be back.

Nice store, better than their old location. The store was clean and well organized. The store’s space used to be occupied by A.C. Moore a few years ago.

There was only one one person on register, employee asked for help from management more than once and they never provided. There should have been more people to help them, the line was fairly long for there to only be one person on register. The cashier looked as though they was ready to cry, very disappointed in how staff is treated here.

The most stock of any Michaels store that we have been in for a very long time. Nice clean store as well.

Doesnt have as much as you would hope for older crafts are almost non existent. For example no plastic canvas to speak of nor much for quilting to many decorations not enough crafting supplies.

Very nice items they have here but the manager should have more than one cashiers, especially during rush hour.

Wide selection of arts and crafts products available at this location but a lot of things seemed to be scattered throughout the store which made it hard to find certain things. Was also disappointed that they did not carry any plaster or molding clay. I was looking to make a home made mold of an object I had so I could make candles in that shape. Had to turn to Home Depot in order to complete my crafty objective. All in all they do have a large selection of products and their employees were pleasant.

Michaels is a nice store. A little pricey. However when I need frames for my art work. Ive never been disappointed.

Clean and well lit. Its what I would expect for a big box arts and crafts chain store in a rural area. They dont have everything but they have sufficient enough to dabble and learn before finding the specialty mom and pop stores to hone and perfect skills. (I havent found the small fry here to support yet.) If youre looking for fabric go support the small shops and vendors. The fabric they do have is the rough, low thread count quality for practice and learning in generic woven cottons for basic quilting or masks. Not for clothing or other fun projects where durability us a must.

Has a variety of items for a variety of crafts. Clean and organized.

Our family just has an affinity to craft stores. Michaels is near the top of the list. Knowledgeable, friendly staff, and every thing under the sun for crafters. Even models which I am really into. My daughter can always find the tight brush tip markers and quality paper there. Always, always a stop when we are near one.

Grateful to have a craft store in Augusta. They didnt have the wooden canvases I wanted. They also didnt have any higher grade acrylic paints.

Didnt have all the Halloween stuff out yet but it was neat and organized.

An hour ride special to get yarn. They had very little and with that, not enough of one color to make a afghan. Looked at some stuff for granddaughter to draw and prices were really high. Quite a disappointing trip.

Received some terrible customer service from Mo and Sue in Augusta today. Judged and accused of stealing when returning an item. After they checked the cameras (yes they checked the cameras!) and realized they were wrong youd think they would apologize. No they just continued to give the slowest rudest customer service. You wont be seeing me and my family there again. I gave you 2 stars since the store itself is nice just the service thats terrible.

Showed up at 6:55 and literally just needed a pair of scissors. I was happy I made it there before they closed but we were told at the door that they close in 4 minutes and we werent allowed to shop. It only wouldve taken me 2 minutes to get the one thing i needed. The employee who said we couldnt shop was also very rude about it I will not be coming back to shop at Michaels again... Walmart it is.

My go to for craft supplies. The customer service here could be a bit more friendly. Theyre nice, but seem almost robotic sometimes. It also seems that there is a decent line each time I visit, I wish it were a quicker check out process. All in all though, I am grateful for the crew here and will continue to bring in my business.

One of the workers on the floor was so RUDE TO ME WOULDNT HELP ME FIND THE SCISSORS SCREAMED AT ME TO STAND 6FEET FROM HER WHEN THEYRE WERE 2 CARTS BETWEEN US THEN A OLDER WOMEN WALKED UP AND ASKED HER A QUESTION AND SHE BROUGHT HER RIGHT OVER TO WHAT SHE WAS LOOKING FOR!!!! IM A FOSTER MOM CRAFTS AND SHOPPING ARE MY ONLY TIME TO REJECT BUT THIS WOMEN WAS SO RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL IF YOU ARE SCARED THEN HEY JUST GET OUT OF THE WORK FEILD!!

Like Michael’s for their drawing supplies. My son loves to draw with pen and ink so I always feel like I get the best pen selection and sketchbook selection. What I don’t like about craft stores is that they always have these great big coupons and I feel like they are cheating me on regular deals. When we asked the staff for help they acted like we were an annoyance. They werent helpful at all, and were borderline rude.

If you are looking for crafting items Michaels is a popular place to pick up a wide variety of everything you need. I have picked up clock parts for a special photo clock I was making and the completed clock looked perfect with the hands available there. My high school kids have picked up many items such as construction paper and art supplies for various projects. I have purchased cake decorating supplies from pans to fondant, chocolates for special candies, and on and on. Im sure youll be just as happy when you stop by.

Don’t advertise curbside pickup then leave someone waiting 40 minutes after your app says someone will be right out with my items! I am in my seventies with multiple pre-existing conditions and use curbside pickup for almost all of my shopping. I have never had any store give me as terrible service as Michael’s in Augusta Maine.

My personal experience at Michaels in Augusta was awesome. I had returns & a new cashier. The cashier did a great job & all she could. Then the manager was right there to help her & she even checked on an item that had not been in stock for 3 weeks, but it was there today & she even went to get it for me. Great teamwork!!!

Michaels has a little bit of everything for all your arts crafts and sewing needs. They had everything I needed to sew my kid this ridiculous stupid looking outfit that he/she? needed for some damn jazz dance recital. In what world does this look good or cool? They make parents do so much work and dress our kids like fools. And why does my kid have to pose in front of a gravestone? What does a gravestone have to do with jazz hands anyway? What the hell is up with that? Imagine my poor kid in 20 years looking back at this pic. Its gonna take a lot of therapy to get over this. Thaanks for all your help Michaels!
