Lived by here for years, very nice well put together shop. Whoever runs it tolerated me walking my dog Thur there yard. I have seen it there for a long time sense I was a kid. An its just a normal eye sight for me. Go check them out to see there offers ?
Great service at a fair price.
Excellent service and honestly, saving money and time, Tomas is a very smart kind person, knowledgeable about Volvos, trained under Pete Fitz (rest in peace) former owner.
I happily drive from Portland to get serviced here. No one touches my 240 but Thomas.
Very hard working && honest about the details
Dedicated Volvo RWD repair center. Comprehensive parts, service, an mechanical restoration/overhaul work suite. Reasonable pricing. Large facility and Volvo vintage car lot.A nice place to have a car repaired.
Incredible service and a clear knowledge of Volvos.
In and out!
Peter and his right hand man put a transmission and rear main seal in my 1990 240 DL inrecord time . When done with that a new cowling over radiator and fan, new timing and fan belt, shifter bracket, and an air filter . All work was first rate and very reasonably priced. It was certainly worth the tow from Belfast.. Over the years I have owned nearly eighteen Volvos and taken them to many mechanics from North Carolina to Maine. Peter and his work are first rate . In the future I will have all my work done by Peter
Awesome service. This is the only place Ill have my car worked on.
Peter is amazing.I was quoted at $800 - $1000 by other shops to replace the blower motor in my 93 240 wagon. It was too big and involved of a job for me to try myself. Peter came recommended from Alan Wheeler at A.C. Auto (who is also awesome).Peter and his shop mate fixed the blower motor, coil wire, front protector plate, front control arm bushings, alternator belts, spark plugs, tailgate lifts, engine rpm sensor, left hood hinge, two right door handles, and the front bumper for $734.85.They let me annoy them with questions while they worked, and Peter clearly has a passion for rwd Volvos that spills into all of the work. He understands people have budgets, but also can explain what should be fixed and why.I live near Portland, but will tow my car all the way to Augusta from now on if I have problems because its worth it.
If you have a Volvo than go no further to find a mechanic. This is your #1 Volvo mechanic in Maine.
If you have an old rear wheel drive volvo this is the place to go in Augusta. Prices are reasonable and they really know the cars and their quirks inside out.
