We had some electrical issue with our pontoon boat recently. Mike came out diagnosed the problem and fixed us right up! The cost was very reasonable and we are back on the water! Thank you so much.

Mike did a great job re-powering our Boston Whaler. New engine, wiring and harness, etc. All the work was done in the off-season and we were ready to roll once summer started. His prices were reasonable, communication was awesome and followed up after delivery to make sure we were satisfied. Would recommend MMS to anyone needing similar work done. Thanks Mike!

Maine marine services in Augusta run by Michael is the most underhanded and unprofessional business I have come across in my 43 years on this planet, we took our boat there for a initial inspection to see what might be causing the boat to run rough which he quoted us 125.00. Told him to contact us before doing ANYTHING. Three weeks went by before any contact (figured he was busy) and then he calls saying its all done and we owe him 1800.00 to wich I said that was not what we agreed upon. Michael then threatened to put a lien on it if we didnt pay in full and charge 20.00 per day for storage. When we had dropped of out boat we had specifically said we did not want to dump a bunch of money into it and thats why we only were authorizing the initial inspection. Do not go to him for anything unless you want to be ripped off!!!

It has been a pleasure working with Mike for the third year In a row! He wraps, winterizes & stores our boat throughout the winter, unwraps, cleans the boat completely(wash, wax & vacuum) and makes sure everything is working perfectly before he delivers it to our camp. He makes owning a boat hassle free.

I have been to this business, I do not recommend and I wouldnt suggest anyone going there. I will not be going back. Ill just leave it at that.

I watched Mike take care of a customer, fixing his older engine. Mike got him off and running, and gave assurances that he would followup if he had any more issues. Good old fashioned customer service! What you dont see a lot of today. He repaired my engines carburetor, which had just $400 spent on a fix at the Portland dealership. No visible evidence that they even took it apart! You will get an honest approach from Mike, and tell it like it is. He is clever, and will be inventive in ways to get it done the inexpensive but safe way. Highly recommended.

Mike was very easy to work with & upfront about everything. He runs his shop out of his backyard & is much easier to do business with than local boat shops. Avoid Hamlins & Mid-Maine if you are in the Waterville area. Help the local guy who will actually do a good job.

Mike is such an awesome mechanic, he is easy to talk too and always gives it to you straight. If you want it done once, and done right... Go see Mike! When it comes to winterization I watch him do it and he does the little extra steps that really prevent issues in the spring.

Mike and his crew went above and beyond to get my boat up and running again. I will be going back for future boat repairs.

Found them by pure accident and its been nothing but excellent. This project is still ongoing with there being much to do. Trial by error for sure on some of my requests...yet he continues to tackle many tasks. In fact....with a bad wheel bearing on the trailer and being completely stuck... he came to the boat launch with his family and helped me out. Stand up guy!!!

Mike saved my vacation!! Day before leaving for an entire week of boating and fishing on Webber Pond, boat would not start. Called Mike and even though it was 100 degrees and last minute on a Saturday, he graciously fixed the fuel pump issue on my boat. Not only did he complete this work, but he also did a ton of proactive maintenance to make sure the boat ran great. His work and prices are very respectable. Great guy and boat mechanic!

This guy is extremely unprofessional, a scam artist and rips off people, he has bad reviews on Yelp of a poor elderly gentlemen getting taken advantage by a unprofessional business owner, the business owner claims to have been around years but only has one year of doctored reviews done by his friends, do not trust this business and take your boat else where unless you want work not completed and have your money taken.

We woke up the morning of July 4th to a hole in our pontoon, which was taking on water. We dropped our boat at Maine Marine Services yard, gave them a call on the number on the window, and they were working on our boat same day. There were additional issues with the motor discovered after we got the boat back, and they immediately came out to our home to inspect and replace propeller and throttle linkage. Amazing customer service, and very reasonable and honest service. We highly recommend this company and will always use them for our boat maintenance and storage needs in the future.
