With not having a GameStop in my town no more, this is the closest one! Got greeted as soon as I walked in. Workers were friendly and even talked anime with the kids! 5 STARS all day!

Make sure if you buy any type of clothes or hats they take there old school Ink Security tags off. I bought a hat for my nephews birthday party today and they did not remove it. My nephew tried to remove it without me noticing and got ink in his eyes and over all his presents. When I went back to the store the manager would not even come out of the back to speak with me after I told a associate what happen. They did absolutely nothing and I will be contacting there district manager! This happened in Augusta Maine! If I could do a negative star I would!

Its on ok store a small store but thats not the problem. Behind the counter the employee completely ignored us coming in which ok dont talk to us. But instead he spent the entirely of our visit bad mouthing an employee that made a stupid investment on what clearly sounded like a scam 🙄. All in an attempt of dry flirting with what Im gonna assume was another associate for a different store. He really layer it on thick enough to annoy us out of the store. I kinda wanted the unlimited version of the game I got had a ton of questions but he seemed occupied 💘🤕.

Be great if they could answer the phone.place is looking more like Walmart everyday

So I came here on a Friday December 18 I can asking for a PlayStation 5 Guy told me that they would have them in December 19 and that I can order one to come to my house I would so excited so I drove all the way down from Casco To buy one well I walked in just about five minutes ago and I asked him to order me one to come to the house and they said that they were only selling them yesterday so now you can understand what I couldn’t believe that this was happening I would not go to the store they will say anything for you to come in and help to buy other things and if they promise you anything don’t believe it!!!! I also called and they said I could order One If I came all the way down here and ordered it at their store. Really thought it was a guaranteePS I also buy PlayStation five games because the guy said that they would be in today now I have games that I can not play🥺

Very small with limited options of games unlike other GameStops but being able to go and check it out while waiting for food at Longhorn Steakhouse is a pleasure activity to do.

GameStop is a small store with decent prices. I think if they had a more open return policy they would be more popular. The staff is usually really friendly. My favorite person there is the manager D. He’s the one that made me feel welcome and made me want to give my business to the store. Since I haven’t seen him in a store there are new people that don’t make me feel quite as welcome. I have a teenage son so I’m familiar with games and handing my credit card over for them. Unfortunately online shopping is a better experience

Extremely rude woman answering the phone with sarcastic inaccurate answers! Called asking for something she said we dont buy those anymore I then said Im not looking to sell it to you I was wondering if you have anything left in stock. She sarcastically answeredThey dont make them new and we dont buy them so how would I have anyCalled three other GameStops nearby and they politely told me what they had left in stock but they wouldnt be getting any more.I also went online to find multiple vendors selling what I was looking for brand new. I would suggest trying a different location if you would like to be spoken to with a little respect

Horrible store with a very rude woman as an assistant manager. Sold me a broken game and wont let me get my money back. I installed the brand new game(cyberpunk 2077) on my ps4. Tried to play it but it says I must update it to continue. I have no internet where I live. I now have a $64 paperweight.

They have everything you want and if they dont they can order it and ship it to any address youd like. The only downsize is with the covid restrictions only 5 people can be in the store

Walked in knowing very little about what I wanted. Sam, the worker there, walked me through everything and explained all my options in great detail. Probably one of the best and most enthusiastic employees I’ve ever met. Couldn’t of had a better experience and will definitely be returning in the future.

Always clean and well organized. The staff is always helpful and wicked good when dealing with my special needs child.

Great game selection. Its unfortunate that they are so understaffed. Clearly the associates are trying their best during seasonal shopping but wait times are significant.

Called to see if purchases were able to be made through the phone. Cant do that. Fine understandable I guess, asked if I could make a purchase online and have in store pickup. Cant do that either with this store I guess. Great I guess if you live in Augusta or are passing through.

Best Gamestop I have visited by far. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable. Store is always clean and games organized. Trade values have even gotten better over the past couple years.

The friendliest staff I have ever encountered. They are helpful and can answer all of your questions for you. I definitely recommend this store.

My experiences with this particular store have been subpar at best. Customer service associates are consistently uninterested in what the consumer is doing/if they are ready to check out. Last evening, my nephew waited for 15 minutes while 1 associates at the counter did not even make eye contact with him, the other associate was attempting to help a customer. Upon being helped, my nephew was told he needed an ID for his purchase. I brought in 2 forms of government ID, one was a photo id (drivers which exp 1 month ago) the other a paper license certifying that i had indeed applied for a new license. The two associates looked back and forth to each other, one sheepishly told me he couldnt accept it.... I explained the situation and jokingly pointed out, thats clearly me, DOB matches on current paper license and expired photo... They exchanged looks again, looking really puzzled and just kind of said no. Wow. So 25 minutes for....... Poorly trained employees, terrible time management skills but great location and great inventory. Really, get it together GameStop. We will not be returning not only due to the employees poor judgment but also because you hurt my nephews feelings.

Ordered an xbox through the store because I was told it was in stock at their warehouse. I paid extra for 2 day shipping because my sons birthday was in a week. Two days later still no shipping notice and status page has nothing helpful. Employee at store directs me to customer service. Am told it is back ordered: 24 to 48 hours. A week after initially placing my order, I cancel, because it still hasnt shipped. They are refusing to refund my credit card, offering gift cards instead. This has been one of the most apalling purchase experiences if my life.
