Ordered a large bacon pizza. It was incredibly sloppily made. All of the bacon and cheese were on one side of the pizza. Some of the slices were stuck to the box because the dough was improperly stretched and folded over onto itself on the bottom. The slices were all different sizes.All in all, its obvious that whoever made this pizza was never trained on how to make a pizza.Dont waste your money here. Absolute waste of time.

The first time I walked into the Rusty Lantern I know I had discovered a new stopping spot for my road trips that pass through the capital city!I was amazed to find a 24 hour store with not only decent coffee but actually excellent coffee with the selection from Coffee By Design!Not a huge beer selection but there are some really good Maine craft beers in their coolers.And a good selection of anything else you need as you pass through.The store to include the restrooms is always clean and welcoming.

Ordered two large TOASTED BLT sandwiches with double bacon.The one guy working the kitchen took forever to acknowledge I was standing there before taking my order. Then he proceeded to flirt with a girl who showed up while he was making the order which took longer. I asked for, and paid for, double bacon and got barely any at all. The bread wasnt toasted and had no mayo on them whatsoever. His name tag said Howard.. Needless to say, we WONT go back.

I go in here multiple times a day for the same thing cigarettes gas and smoothie (3x) a day. All the staff is great except the one girl who works some nights. She has an attitude everytime argues with customers which wasnt just myself tonight, refuses to make tour ordwe the way you want saying jndont have to make it then, has an attitude and tells the trainees wring information. Many people complain about this employee and nothing seems to be done. You ask her for her name and her reply says why so you can report me too bad they dont do anything people have tried to and I dont have to give tou my name. Just the worst service from a store I have ever seen or dealt with in my life. The other staff are wonderful and the nicest people and make the experience wonderful but this one employee needs to go!!

My favorite place to stop in Maine. Their burgers are insane, super friendly staff.

Nicole is an amazing worker. Always smiling and has fresh coffee up all night. Wicked nice. And always has a smile on her face.She makes coming to this store worth while. If it wasn’t for her, I probably wouldn’t have stopped.

The bathroom was touch-less and very clean. I definitely recommend.

What a clean store! friendly staff and all fresh foods. I have never been in a store in Augusta, Maine with such a great vibe.

I love this store. The breakfast pizza is the best I have ever had. Staff are amazing. Its funny because when I call they already know what I want. I appreciate that they remember me and my pizza. lol . They deserve the 5 star for sure.

This is a very clean store with amazing management. I was completely shocked and delighted to see that they offer Coffee By Design at this location. The breakfast food and desserts are great! I will be a frequent visitor.

Dont know what gives with the people that gave only 1 star. Some people just want thier @$$ kissed. I myself think this is a nice place. Food is great. Clean all around. And they actually remember to keep the coffee on. Unlike some of the Irving truck stops.

Usually stop in around 4AM on way back to NH and enjoy seeing Nicole and the others

I come into the rusty lantern every night almost and Everytime Nicole is working she always helps me with whatever I need and she has great costumer service shes always smiling and happy and working hard. She should definitely work more hours at night she is a great person

Nicole always very friendly courteous I stop for fresh snacks & coffee 5 days a week being a trucker its nice have a place where you feel good about going to clean rest room nicole is always friendly and helpful

The manager is horrible, staff argumentative, and they wont even pick up their phone for kitchen orders.Good company. Beautiful store but horrible management and staff.And its sad the store manager rates his store a 5 star himself just to have a decent review and hope they dont know his name. Biased.

If I could give this store a 0 Star I would. Staff is rude. The Night Staff look like someone who just rolled out of bed for the first time in a week. I would not recommend going here. There are many other good stores in the area where you will feel welcomed and want to spend your money. Also some of the staff try and keep your change and act like they forgot they owed it to you. It’s happened to me 4 times now. GO somewhere else!

Went in for the first time ever today the customer servuce is terrible and argumentive. I had a horribke first experience. There are many other stires in the area to be unsatisfied leaving a store.

Old school experience! I was met at the pump with Hello! and some hot chocolate samples!

Dont work here. They will not fully train you nor teach you the policy. If you have another job dont work here too. The will punish you if your other job has an emergency
