I really hope small hardware stores like they stay in business because when you really need help finding a certain item, it’s horrible getting good help at Home Depot or Lowe’s. These guys really do give individualized attention and hope you find what you need. Plus it’s a lot quicker than Walmart Home Depot or Lowe’s will ever be

After order on line, I drive to this location.As I entered the store, an associate promptly offered assistance after greeting me with a friendly hello. My items were already as I hoped for. Two associates who were both smiling offered to carry the order to my vehicle. I noticed the items I ordered were of good quality. Today, I had an great experience!

After receiving an email telling me about the weekend paint sale, I went to Aubuchon hardware to pick up some paint for a project. Gentleman helping me was very friendly and professional, I really appreciated his help from mixing my paint to checking me out quickly. Im sorry I didnt catch his name, but thank you.

Pellet and coal for home heating they are ripping mainers off....Over priced everything... Never getting my buisness.Heating your home from here will rip you off.Bagged pellets $3.00 more than all other stores. Coal is twice the price of going rates in the area. $12.00 bucks a bag from .17 cents a pound to 28 Cents a pound.

The local Aubachon in Augusta Maine is wonderful store with a wonderful staff. They did not receive 5 stars only due to corporates lack of character or care for its employees and customers.

Went on to find a part to fix my atv plow. Brenda was right on it! Helping me get the parts I needed to mimic the part that the dealer had to order, and overcharged for! Keep up the awesome customer service Brenda!

Prices are fair and the staff is knowledgable and friendly. Went to get an extendable paint roller, and a staff member ensured I got the one that worked best for my situation, as opposed to the one Id originally grabbed, which would have made the job several times harder. Highly reccomended.

I am perplexed by the high rated stars for this place. I have not experienced any of this in the close to 20 years in the area. Selection is minimal. The experts are scary, since they advice they give seems off the wall to me. If I come in for a specific water shut off, for instance, they will insist that the one they have with an adapter or you need to re-plumb your house is what theyll say, rather than admit they dont have it. Plus, I dont ask for this advice, I simply want to know where x is and if they show me a 1/2 inch valve when Im looking for 3/4 inch.. this is where I get let me explain this to you, simpleton advice. If Im in a pinch and need to get something and not travel, Ill try them.. otherwise I know Im much more satisfied just about anywhere else.
