We are very pleased with our awning! The consultation by Jay (not the owner) was great! He came to measure and give me all the information. He sold me on the Sunpro due to added bells and whistles, warranty, availability and time of product arrival. The installation went well and now we just hit the remote anytime we want to enjoy our covered patio. I highly recommend this company if you want a great product for the price.

I highly recommend Direct Awnings & Doors for several reasons. First, I got four bids for an awning--Direct Awnings was the best (aka lowest) bid. Second, the quality of their product is top-notch. I love all the features, including the many awning designs, the automatic wind control, the ability to tilt the awning for additional shade, and the lights in the frame!But I would recommend them for one other important reason. Their sales and installation staff are great! I needed the awning for an event to celebrate my grandsons HS graduation. I was late looking for a company, but they were able to get it ordered and installed before the big event.If youre looking for an awning, check out this company. Its really the only one you need to work with! I couldnt be happier with my experience with Direct Awnings!

I had an awning installed approximately one year ago by Direct awnings. The work was done on time and professionally. Today the awning is still working as it should including extras like LED lights, remote and wind sensors.The purchase and installation was a pleasant experience.

I needed service on a Sundowner awning from snow damage. This company was the original installer of the unit. The service call and repair were not cheap, but the repair was finished in less than an hour and the guys were polite enough, but seemed to be in a hurry.Here’s my issue- from the conversations I had leading up to the repair I was expecting the awning to be remounted and “serviced” using their description. To me “service” on a mechanical device means adjustments, minor repairs, cleaning, and so on. I attempted to talk with the lead installer about a couple of other minor problems I was having with the operation of the awning (not related to the snow damage) but he would only nod and talk with his partner. I assumed he heard and understood what I was describing but after bolting the awning back in place they sprayed a little WD40 in a couple places, retracted the awning and hit the road.Those other minor problems were not addressed. I suppose the $650 is a going rate for such things, but a company shouldn’t inflate what they do by claiming things like “we’ll perform a complete service and cleaning while we’re there...”. I feel a little cheated.

Have been working with Direct for some time now and it has been a very pleasurable experience!
