Friendly staff who love to try and help, but you have to come at the right time for the right employee if you dont know what youre doing. Call in advance so you are sure you get someone who can give the best assistance. But when you do get them, they are wonderful to be around. Great prices too.
I made wine last year from a kit with Ken and that experience really enhanced my appreciation for what it takes to make good wine. Im currently making 7 cases from my own grapes with Ken guiding the way. Its been great learning from Ken and something I highly recommend to anyone who loves wine.
Great selection! Had a nice visit with the owner(?) Who knows wine brewing very thoroughly. And the selection of beer ingredients was top notch.
Freindly staff, and have a good selection of malts. Hops are stored in a deep freezer, and yeast in the fridge. I also like the fact that, they mill the grain on order and they can do custom amounts if needed.
Great store! Friendly and knowledgeable service. A very convenient location in downtown Aurora. They have all the supplies youll need for home brewing, and they offer classes, too.
Went in looking for a sack of base malt. They only had special b and chocolate malt in sacks. The guy also didnt sound very knowledgeable. Pretty disappointed since this place had so many 5 star reviews.
Nice small shop. The store had about 7-10 custom pre made kits as well as Brewers Best kits. Plenty of raw ingredients to build your own recipes.
Extremely helpful, and best prices Ive ever seen
Great selection, Great prices. Thanks for the ball lock connectors!
When you do home brew it is nice to go to a local place that either has was you want or will cater to your needs. This place definitely fits the bill
Staff is friendly if a bit short on knowledge. They were amenable to milling grain(even the portion I had purchased in bulk elsewhere).
Fred the proprietor was especially for this first time brewer. I will definitely be back
Very friendly and knowledgeable. they go out of their way to teach and help.
A nice little home brew shop.
Stopped in to pick up yeast energizer; got some good advice for my first mead fermenting from Fred. My must is now bubbling away the day after I stopped there.
Store was supposed to open at 11:30...I waited from 11:30 until 12. Store still wasn’t open. I went to run another errand and came back at 12:30 - they were open then. Not too hospitable of employees.
The guys really know there stuff.
Excellent business at fair prices.
Nice place
Very helpful
