Usually I love to shop Habitat for Humanity, for many reasons, but lately their furniture pricing is ludicrous and out of control. I dont know who this ill advised pricing person is, But since I was Sales Director of 4 Goodwill stores, I am well familiar with the used market. What is especially laughable is they are located about a block from American Furniture, on Abilene in Aurora, and some of their couches, divans etc are higher than new goods. 🤔 So, no need to question, as your question would be met with a blank stare. Shop the ARC STORES, SERVING AND employing the handicapped. Here is a picture of a perfect couch we found at the ARC on Mississippi last week for $60. Works perfect for our enclosed patio.

They have really shown a lot of improvement coming out of the covid-19 stay-at-home orders. The store is much more organized and feels like a store rather than a yard sale. The customer service has always been excellent. 😊

My purpose here was to make a donation. I did walk through the store to see if there was anything I could not live without. The store is immaculate and well organized. They have a great selection of lighting and plumbing fixtures. The staff is very friendly.

Best place in the Denver area to find hidden gems at excellent prices. The staff is kind and great to work with. The store is always clean and well-curated. I’ve purchased great finds here and also donated, both experiences have been enjoyable. My favorite purchase has been a pink velvet joybird couch, brand new, for $100!!!

The pricing for things are outrageous. Everything is refurbished which is great for the environment but the pricing is more than buying it brand new.

I had to help them load a fridge into a truck and they were in a big rush and shoved the fridge forward so hard that it hit me in the face and gave me a fat lip. NOT impressed with their staff.

My review of five stars goes directly to the manager, Heidi! She is incredibly helpful, supports local businesses and is an excellent leader that gets things done! The cleanliness of the store and organization of materials is immaculate. I love coming to Heidi’s habitat restore!

A lot of good stuff here for descent prices. Id check out here before going to the normal hardware stores first. Plus really friendly staff. Glad I discovered this place

Its like shopping at the goodwill or the Arc. But for house Stuff. Prices are extremely high for the stuff they have. Should just buy new.

This location is really great. Whenever I am looking to redo something in my home I always come here first. They have a great selection of furniture, appliances, hardware, etc and the staff is always very kind and helpful!

Hands down best thrift store Ive visited, Ian was super courteous and helpful. On top of the customer service the furniture was in great shape for a great price.

I’ve shopped here for many years and noticed the new management at this location is running the business and current customers out. The items in this store use to be affordable to anybody and everybody. But for a place accepting donations and charging close to full price for a used item is ridiculous. The new workers are also very pushy and in welcoming. Will not ever be shopping at any of these locations again.

Great items

Pretty solid place. Have been here a few times and picked up a bunch of brushed nickel fixtures that work great! Some of the stuff isnt that big a discount IMO (like door handles for some reason) but overall, most things are way below what youd pay in a retail store. Easy to navigate and great value!

I love visiting Habitat Restores and I found this Aurora restore to be very organized, clean, everyone was helpful and looked like they loved their jobs. Oh and can’t forget they had “great finds”!!!

Great place for used, and sometimes new home improvement projects. Purchases made benefit the community which is awesome. Wide variety of items from light switch covers to furniture and cabinets.

Used to shop here once a week. Went in and bought $300 worth of tile for kitchen backsplash. Went in 2 weeks later only to see the price reduced $2 per sheet. I asked at the register if they would honor the new price since it was within 30 days. They said I would have to bring the tile in for the adjustment. I went home and picked up all the tile and returned to the store for said adjustment. At which time I was informed I would have to return the entire order wait 2 days to be re-stocked on the shelves, and try to come back and buy it once available. Really?!?! Its 2018. Nearly any other store simply processes the exchange and refunds the difference. These guys made it extremely difficult for no apparent reason.Habitat lost not only a sale but also a longtime customer.**Edit-Update**: The store manager Carla contacted me shortly after the review was posted and offered a sincere apology and offered to make it right somehow. She explained the reason for my experience and has stated appropriate training will take place to ensure a more simple transaction in the future.

Heidi and her staff epitomizes customer service even during these stressful times in retail.Their mission is to help the less fortunate and I applaud and support their mission.

I was looking for a desk for my home office and a friend suggested I try the habitat for humanity store since he had gotten a dryer from them and seemed pleased with it. I found the perfect desk. A beautiful honey oak one. It was a little over priced I thought but the money was going to a good cause. So I made the purchase and it fits perfectly in my home office area. They had lots of larger size entertainment centers for your living area and they were priced very reasonable. Staff were pleasant, helpful and pickup was easy.

Help is kinda rude and there over priced. I never give a bad review. First time for me. Im very disappointed in this facility. Ive been a true supporter of Habitat but this ones not for me.

Super dirty store . disorganized . Staff communication is horrible. Be prepared to engage with staff and management as if they are children.

Small compared to the other stores they have. But they are getting better stuff now. Also there prices are going up as well I think they are asking way to much for stuff then they use to. Sometimes more then full retail. They need to go back to the way they use to on pricing.

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore shops are such a great place to find used furniture, appliances, and other knick-knacks for your home or garden. Its also a great place to offload the same items since many thrift stores cant, or wont, take large furniture or used appliances.Plus, youre helping out an organization that helps others. The staff are always helpful and they have a veterans discount as well.

I visit the store at least once a week. The staff is very nice and the store is organized and clean. Ken is very helpful. I do wish that they had a larger location in Aurora so that the inventory could be larger. I purchase old furniture to make art projects from. I receive coupons online but the expiration date is so short that every time I go to use it it has expired.

I really like this place. If you have a large item such as furniture they will come an pick it up. It would be nice if it was a bigger store, maybe someday.

Dont forget they dont take cash only cards its part of the social distancing they dont want to touch anything that might be contaminated. but we had a good experience there this morning we found everything we actually went there to get

Theres not a lot in there right now they are limited on what they can receive for donations but there is some stuff in the store.

Great place to shop for your home upgrades and remodels. Its a little small, but has a wonderful variety of items. I have gone here multiple times looking for things, and enjoying the atmosphere, staff, and the ever changing furniture/rugs they have available.

The employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We thought we were going to have to pay nearly $100 to order a new rack for our dishwasher. They sell the racks for $5.If you need anything for your home, check out the ReStore first!

This store is wonderful! It is worlds better than the Lakewood ReStore. The people here are so nice and helpful. Even though its across town for me, its my new go-to spot for any home improvement project!

All the stores are great. Gotta go a lot as the product rotates daily. Deals abound. Our recent purchases: huge sectional brand new 300, stainless dishwasher 50, antique round coffee table 50. I love these stores, Tyrone at the Rio Grande location is the absolute best!

They have some of the more difficult to find items, very friendly staff, and better than reasonable prices. I saw freezer/fridge units, stove/ovens, sofas chairs, tables, tools, repair kits for any job and various other things like combination locks and childrens pajamas...

They came out promptly to help unload and were friendly. Four stars because they wouldnt accept a somewhat scratched leather couch that goodwill would.

Good prices on some things, especially windows. You have to buy cabinets as a set. If youre patient and flexible, you can save some serious money here.

Sometimes you find really good items . but it isnt a large store so I think that they_are limited in what ey can keep. you just have to look and check often.
