It was easy to make an appointment online, the consultant helped design what I wanted for my hall closet turned pantry. I thought it was a bit pricey, even with the discount, but we are not handy people so it was worth it to me to have it designed and installed. The installers arrived on-time, did not intend on wearing masks, I gave them a mask to put on. The install was fairly quick. Im very happy with my purchase and my new organized pantry.

I got their ad in a magazine flyer, compared prices with others, but this company was very responsive, the price was amazing, it was a 40% off sale plus an additional 15% off, I turned an unused bedroom into a full walk in closet, and it turned out beautifully, the two men team that came to install were very quick on time, and very professional. I will definitely use them again. My designer was amazing! Great company to work with.

Closets by Design (Chicago South) has done great work for us in our mud room and master closet. The designer is very easy to work with us, combining our needs and preferences with her expertise. The installation is smooth, with the installers being professional and courteous.

I have several closets in my home but no space! CBD offered 40% off so I called and Sue came to my home and measured everything. She had good ideas. It did take a while to get them installed, but totally worth the wait! I have all my clothes in one closet now freeing up two other closets for storage. I priced out Ikea and doing it myself and this was the better option because it is custom measured to my closet with zero space wasted. I love them.

Terrible communication! The job was done well. The installers Mike and his team were excellent really tried to please us.Both were amazing. They were extremely professional and helpful but but their back office & the shop need to pay attention. They lack of quality control.We had defective pieces for the closet & the shop didn’t drilled holes for hinges so doors could not be installed in a cabinet.

The customer service at the location in Aurora is the best. My wife and I were headed there after several appointments that day. We live 90 minutes away, but we are building near that location. It started snowing really hard on our way there and it took much longer to arrive than anticipated. We got there 15 minutes before they closed, but the sales lady stayed an extra hour and patiently answered our questions. She stayed while it was snowing, instead of rushing us out the door. On top of that, she gave us a discount that really helped with the purchase. I strongly recommend that location to anyone. Heck, it may even be worth the extra few minutes because of the customer service

Worst exp ever. Designer came to measure and did the design. We asked twice to send us cad drawings so we can have visual, but all they sent was designers own drawing on piece of paper with missing measurments and not clear how everything is going to look .They called us and assured that we are going to like the project once its installed, even i was trying to tell them that we still want to look before its installed. once installation completed it was total disaster .starting with different measurments, from cabinets, cheapest hinges that can cut your arm if u let go the cover, missing pieces, size of shelfs is for bookshelf, not for the clothes .I called the company, but then they excuse was why u only telling us now ??its already installed and they started blaming the customer !!!They said even if they would sent us the visual look we would be agreed to what they did .They said they did everything by industry standarts, but the price was charged by custom design !!!!My advice do not use them, cause this company standarts is 100 years behind IKEA and price is 200 years ahead .Biggest scam company i seen in years !!!!

This review is a little late coming, but I love my closet so much that I had to share. Id been thinking about getting my closet done for several years, but kept putting it off. Then one day, the wired shelving in my walk-in fell because it couldnt hold the weight of everything that was on it. I knew at that point it was time to fix the situation. I was referred by a friend to Kristie at Closets By Design and she was absolutely amazing! She listened to what I wanted, made some key suggestions, and in one day, created a new, more efficient design for my closet space. My installation was schedule for the next month. The installer showed up on time and did a beautiful job. I almost couldnt believe it was the same space! Not only does it look pretty now, but everything is so much more organized and neat, and the space is utilized so much better. Everyone from Kristie to the installer to customer service has been incredible about this entire process. I have not one regret, except that I didnt do this years ago. And I cannot wait to have Closets by Design revamp the rest of my house!
