I found a decades old heavy duty sewing machine at a garage sale for my wife. It was perfect for sewing leather. I knew it needed to be serviced and fully checked out, so I brought it here. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they were able to fully service the machine despite its age. It ended up costing less than what they estimated, and they had it finished before the date they gave me. I had a great experience here and now my wife has a new finely tuned up, old school, heavy duty sewing machine.

I was so impressed with my visit to the Aurora store. The young lady there was so informative and taught us so much about my machine that I never knew. She told us about free classes where we can learn even more and she fixed my machine for me that was jammed in a few minutes. We are now lifelong customers. What a refreshing change!

Every time I go to my favorite store, I always have an awesome experience. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable about every machine in the store as well as materials for the machine. I had a project to work on and talked with the staff there about the issues that I was concerned about and they were more than helpful to walk me through what I needed to do to have a great finish on the project. And everything they said, all their suggestions worked perfectly. And I love the sewing classes.

Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum is a great store. Not only do they have amazing machines to buy, they have great staff to help you choose the machine of your dreams and, most importantly to me, they have machine support and educational programs where we can learn new skills and work on projects. It is an incredible store (actually 4 stores around the front range).

I just found out about Rocky Mountain Sewing & Vacuum in Aurora, but it has been a great experience each time I have been in. They have an excellent selection of high quality sewing machines, accessories, notions, and quilting fabric. I really like their notions wall because they carry specialty items I hear about at conferences, but cant find at a discount sewing store. They also let me use a coupon over the phone to take advantage of a sale in their flyer, which I really, really appreciate!

Purchasing sewing machines long-distance is not an easy task and I entered into that venture with great hesitation. However, Rocky Mountain Sewing & Vacumm made the process of upgrading to a new Pfaff machine, inlcuding trade-in, super effortless. I cant say enough nice things about owner Rob Richards, who is first class all around. He is very responsive, keeps promises made, makes sure all concerns are met, and if he cant find parts in one store, chances are high he can get it for you at another one of his stores. His staff at the Aurora store is first class as well. He even found a very hard-to-find part for my old Pfaff overlock machine and included it free with my new purchase. Sales and coupons are generous and I often wish I lived close by to attend a few great classes. Always, the highest priority, in every conversation, is to get you back to sewing totally happy.

I went there to buy a sewing machine for my 9 year old princess and they were extremely friendly and wonderful. I have been back several times since and the great experience never changes.

The first time I went in the shop was to buy a sewing machine and it was 5:50 on a Saturday and they made sure I was set up to go with a sewing machine the same day. The second I went to the store was to buy a fancy coverstich/serger combo. There was a lot of issues with the machine itself but it has been great dealing with the employees and the communication remains open.

Extremely pleased. I jammed up my Brother sewing machine, a lower end model, and I packed it into a box dreading how much I would be charged to unjam it (Would I pay more in repairs than I paid for the machine?). I imagined all kinds of scenarios, guessed how many weeks it would take. I walked in and a very kind young woman set it right up and skillfully unjammed it right there in 10 minutes, no charge. She showed me some tricks to always get it put back together correctly. I signed up for one of their free How to use your Brother sewing machine classes. I will definitely come back here, I was so amazed at the service I received.

Its the best sew and vac store Ive ever been into. Im used to dinky tinkerer shops but these ladies have such a passion for crafting! they have all the latest technology and they can tell you everything about it and they can take it apart and put it back together again. Its worth walking in just to see and try the giant embroidery machines.

Helpful conversation and demo of all features. They put my new vacuum together and threw in lots of extras. They know they’re up against web sellers. So, pricing is competitive and their dealer warranty extension is awesome. They’re honest and make sure they give you what they say they will. I bought a Sebo and would recommend it to others.

I would not recommend this place at all. I had two machines that I took here. They out source to some other place to do the work. They ruined my old Singer and all it needed was a cleaning. Nothing I could do about it because I signed a release that they required, due to its age. The one other machine, I had to take it back twice and finally gave up because it just had the same problem. And, they charged me the $160 cleaning cost even though it didn’t need cleaning. This place is a rip off. They only offer sewing machine repair to get you in there to try to sell you a machine.

I went to RMS&V to look at sewing machines that would work for free motion quilting. Sami directed me to several models and I was able to test sew on them. Then she had some ideas she shared with me about other things the Pfaff machine could do. I ended up buying a Pfaff and am very happy with it. I would highly recommend RMS&V for their pleasant and knowledgeable sales team and great product selection.

I originally brought my Riccar vacuum to the Dominion/Boerne location for repairs. I met Lara, and she was very helpful and very friendly. She explained the process, and told me I would receive a call when the vacuum was ready. I heard back from them quickly, and picked up my vacuum from Gerrit, an officer of the company. He was also very friendly, and he explained the problem and how they completed my repair very inexpensively. Great result! I also purchased a Dyson V7 that day (completely unsolicited). The vacuum had a problem a couple of days later, so I was told to bring it back. Gerrit looked at it, and quickly replaced it for me. I very much appreciate the way I was treated and how both of my issues were handled. Ill definitely be a return customer.

I took my 1959 Singer here for a tune up. The technician did an excellent job! I’ve done several sewing projects and it’s running well. I took it to another place a few years ago with not very good results so I’m glad to know of this location.

Today I purchased a pfaff sewing machine for my mother. We paid about $2700 after tax and a couple extra items added. The first thing we noticed when we opened the box was that it was missing a power cord. So my mother went back and got the power cord. Then once she tried setting up the machine she noticed that the cord for the foot pedal was missing. She went back again to get that missing cord. The ladies were nice enough but when spending so much money i expect that everything that comes with the machine should be In the box. I feel like we may have gotten a machine that was not brand new. We will not be going back to this store again if we can find the machine or items we want/need at another store.

I love Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum for many reasons but the main ones are the service....they make every attempt to provide the highest quality of service, they dont try to upsell you....you can tell them what your needs and your price point and they provide exactly what youre looking for. Ive done two transactions with them in the last 10 months and I purchased exactly what I wanted at the price that was comfortable for me. I cant wait to get a long arm some day (LOL).

After I purchased the replacement parts on ebay, I learned that they had just begun a new policy of not repairing vacuums with equipment that they could not warranty. However, since I had already made the investment, they made an exception and went ahead and installed the parts. I so appreciated them working with me in spite of their changed policy. My experience was good. To have regular maintenance to my old singer sew machineWhile they push for me to upgrade to a better computerized sew machine that cost thousands of dollars. They did a great job. Yes my machine is from the 1980s but it works for what I need it for.

Ive been going to Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum in Aurora for at least 10 years. Theyve always been courteous and did their best to get answers. I have bought 2 vacuums from them with no sales pressure. I told them what I was looking for, they showed me available options, let me test them, and I was free to make a decision from there. They have been very helpful with repairs/replacement of worn parts, and trouble shooting unusual issues. The sewing machine I bought from them was a great price. Again, they were great at explaining features and showing different models without sales pressure. Ive even used their services during stay at home orders. They shipped supplies to me without delay. I will continue to use them until they no longer carry what I need.

I bought my Juki TL18 QVP from RMSV. Its been a good experience. It took about 3 months + for my sewing machine to arrive, possibly pandemic-related manufacturing reasons. I placed the order in early September and it came in end of November. I would call every couple three weeks to check up on it during that time and the staff were always very friendly and answered my questions and assured me that I am at the top of their list for receiving my Juki. Amber was my salesperson and she was very helpful and friendly. Plus their cost for the machine was less than what I was seeing online. Im glad I waited and bought locally and not online. I also purchased their complete maintenance plan. I know that if anything went wrong its taken care of and I dont have to ship it anywhere.

Every time I go, I get the help I need. It seems they know just about everything! They are my first, and usually only, source for answers and advice. And SO friendly . . . I always feel like I am dealing with friends. Also, my go-to place for quality supplies.

My wifes sewing machine wasnt working properly so we took in. We were met by Jamie, the manager, who listened to my wifes issue. Jamie plugged it in and proceeded to look at it. She diagnosed the issue right away. The wrong thread, upholstery, was loaded and was getting bound up in the bottom bobbin. Jamie went well beyond what we expected by diagnosing the machine problem and then not accepting a payment for her knowledgeand time. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business and location for their cleanliness and friendly service.

We purchased our vacuum here and the post purchase experiences we have had with general maintenance/ cleaning/ check up etc. has been top notch. Perfect example of this was when the vacuum seemed clogged and it look like oh no here comes another household expense I brought it in and Amber was nothing but professional asking me different questions trying to troubleshoot what was going on and took it in the back ...found out that it was something simple that was causing the issue ...she went ahead and fixed it and took all the anxiety out of the situation. I went into Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vac about five years ago to service my old Hoover vacuum. They were so friendly and helpful that I kept going back. Since then, Ive bought a new vacuum, a new sewing machine, and a new embroidery machine from them. Theyve been fantastic in helping me find the right machines, at the right skill level, the right price point, and with the right features to fit my needs. The classes and the friendly, knowledgeable staff have given me everything Ive needed to bring my skills up to date and get me proficient in using my new machines. And, they have built a really fun community of sewing enthusiasts where its fun to learn new skills.

The service tech at this business is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this business for repairs. In the end, the tech didnt even want to charge me for the services rendered with my carpet cleaner, and offered various solutions to keep the problem from reoccurring. Highly recommended.

I cant say better things about Rocky Mtn. Sew and Vacuum. My Oma got me into sewing and I caught the bug. I bought a used machine off of craigslist and had no idea what I was doing. I took it into Rocky Mtn. Sew and they spent hours personally showing me how to use the machine. Daily, I would have issues and bring it back, they would always work with me and help me figure it out. I didnt even buy the machine from them and they helped. They never made me feel pressured to buy a machine from them. I eventually upgraded to a digital PFAFF (best decision I ever made) and they have a KILLER trade in program. Its like a push pull or drag sale - bring in any machine, even if it doesnt work and they will give you money toward the purchase of a new machine. They are THE BEST. Love Rob, the owner, and all the store managers and associates. Cant say better things about this place.

Called regarding a belt replacement on a Dyson DC14 and quoted 89.99 for service and 80.00 for a 5.00 belt?!Called their competitors and quoted 10.00 for full repairs, part included.Quite the difference!UPDATEOwner writes response this is not the proper fix. Well, it was and its done and for 10.00. I explained the small belt snapped not internal belt that comes from the factory.Check the Dyson Manual, youll see for yourself.No one accused you of anything improper, you did that yourself.
