The service was good. They stayed on top of filling the water. My mothers tomato chicken was good even though it was odd to find dishes with tomatoes in it at an Asian restaurant. My orange chicken on the other hand had a really hard batter on it that made it hard to eat. Also the sauces had way too much sugar in it. It wasnt to the point where it was crystallizing on your teeth as you at it, but really close. The worst part was that within half an hour of eating here I got sick. I felt fine once I got rid of everything. Not going back.
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant! Genuine, authentic Chinese food! So very different from Panda Express and other places that are more westernized! I have seen the negative post for this place, however I have never had a bad experience! Everything I have ordered has been delicious and flavorful! Inlove that they have Chinese vegetables the other places dont! I order Shrimp with Chinese broccoli and Im a regular customer! Have eaten here before, during and after Covid! Not worried about how the restaurant looks, its clean and the food is awesome! Thanks KP Asian Cafe!
The restaurant just opened today, probably just a soft opening, many things not in order yet. The restaurant was quite small with only 8 tables. The chefs were from Canton and northeastern part of China, so their Cantonese and Northeastern food should be more authentic. It took a while for the chefs to prepare food since they were still hiring more helpers. The food we ordered were quite tasty and delicious though.
I was skeptical in the beginning because they seem to be slightly more expensive than a typical Chinese restaurant. Turns out you get what you pay for. $10 and I had a fresh, filling meal and excellent customer services. The owner is the sweetest gentleman. He was so patient with explaining to me every item on the menu and suggested the popular dishes. The portion of these foods are huuuge and I really liked the General Tso chicken. The chicken was fresh, hot and crispy, the batter and chicken ratio was perfect. I know some other Chinese restaurants that offer cheaper dishes but their quality is way lower than this place and portion is much smaller!I have ordered from them several times now and I have to be honest not all of their foods are the best, but I will still be back because of the top notch service they give me every time! ❤️❤️Check them out and support them when you can so they can go through this pandemic!
I have found my szechuan go to. Try the boiled beef szechuan style. It is so delicious.
Our Mongolian beef was mostly onions. It was salty and did not have much flavor other than onions. The pan fried dumplings were soggy and the rice was bland. Not happy.
First time and the last.. the reviews made me want to try it out but when I got it the salt and pepper wings tasted like they’d been fried earlier and then refried when I ordered and the pepper beef was just yuck!!!... the only good thing was the dumplings.
Do you Miss pei wei Chicken lettuce wraps, look no further. Ive been looking since they shut down at Lowry. Ask for a side chilli sauce. Its a hole in the wall, but I loved my first visit.
Ordered pickup through Menufy, my card was charged and when I went to the restaurant to pick up my food the door was locked and appeared closed. A man came outside and started yelling saying it’s “not his effing problem and to contact Menufy”. Contacted them for a refund and they said they are still trying to get in contact with management and they cannot issue a refund until management approves it. Are you kidding??? this place is just stealing people’s money, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!
Have ordered food here several times and have never had a bad experience. Food is always hot and fresh. The owner is super nice.I dont understand any of the negative reviews. Some of them sound like b.s., some might be because of cultural differences. Its a legitimate Asian restaurant, not a Panda Express lol.
The food here are awesome! take the sesame ball!
An excellent little joint. Lots of vegetarian options-- so far Ive had the Szechuan spicy tofu, baby broccoli in oyster sauce, lo mein, and scallion pancakes. All really tasty and high quality.
Joke!Their hours showed that they were open until 8pm. Placed an approximately $50.00 order. Received a reply that my order would be ready between 3:06 - 3:21.The business was closed upon arrival at 3:22.Hopefully a refund will be received.Update:A call and refund was received within 24 hours. This was all handled by a 2nd party, separate from the restaurant.
Oh my goodness my family is happy. My wife and I both had the Beef Noodle soup, thebroth was rich and velvety. Wonderfully spiced with chunks if succulent beef. The lady and gentleman that were there (I presume owners) were very sweet and I saw that the meals are scratch made. Very delicious and craving satisfying. We will be back!
We ordered pick up (our second time patronizing this business), was not given a total over the phone - which isnt a big deal or anything - but when I picked up, I paid the amount he told me. Later that evening, I received a call accusing me of not paying. He was belligerent and didnt seem to understand that I HAD already paid (otherwise how would I get the food?) and included a tip. Heard him talking with a woman and he said something about how I paid for the wrong order? So, despite the food quality being good, I dont appreciate being yelled at and accused of not paying; it is not my responsibility to know which order Im paying for. Had he approached this differently, I wouldnt have minded paying the difference, if the bill were higher. But he just said nothing after and hung up on me.
We’re new to the area so we decided to come here for some decent Asian food. But we were so wrong. We ordered over the phone and I asked for a total, he said $22.58. I even repeated it. I get to the restaurant to pay he says $22.58 so my husband gives him his card and he tells us it declined, so we call the bank in front of him and show him we have money and if he can swipe it again and he DID already 3 times without us knowing. We went to the ATM to withdraw money and it worked fine. Making it seem like we couldn’t pay. And our bank told us he was charging waaaay more than what the food cost literally the $500 we had in our checking he was trying to take all of that and more. Definitely watch your transaction with them. They are a scam and the food wasn’t even good. Egg rolls had way too much pepper. Crab cheese wontons had a nasty taste the cream cheese definitely was not real cream cheese probably the off brand. Sesame chicken didn’t even look like sesame chicken I have seen. Only thing good was the white rice to say the least.
I had a really hard time deciding how many stars to give this place! The food is delicious! Wonderful! However. . . The last 3 times I ordered, I put no onions on the order. Both in the special instructions area and the comments area. I also told them in person. You guessed it: Lots of onions. That was on my wifes Lo Mein. I ordered the Same Exact menu item 3 times. The Vietnamese Rice Noodles. Each time I received a completely different version. They were all delicious, but you would never guess they were the same menu item. And yes it was the same cook each time. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired, but the food is wonderful.
Really good food and hearty portions.
The food is ok. Ordered home curry chicken and sesame tofu. Little amount vegetables in the tofu dish, and the curry was lacking any kind of cream/milk. Spicy though.
I dont know how you make those noodles but they are the best I have had in Colorado. Keep doing what you do!
The real deal. I have been to China 3 times, this place does authentic. Highly recommend.
The food is delicious!! My daughters and I truly enjoyed the excellent cuisine. The salt and pepper shrimp was out of this world delicious. Good food, great service and clean establishment. Highly recommend it.
Kp Asian has THE BEST egg rolls. Theyre a perfect blend of meat and veggies that require no sauce for dipping. The beef lo mein is also fantastic.
Tried the intestines and it wasn’t bad, wasn’t what I was expecting and I’m not entirely sure if that’s a good thing. The place was being run by the nicest old man tho, he was so freaking nice and took the time to explain the menu . I’m excited to try something else on the menu.
Update: Ive now been there quite a few more times. Pretty sure this is the most authentic Chinese food youre going to find in the Aurora area, and maybe even the best place in the Denver area in general for good Chinese food. The portions are really generous and theres always a lot of meat in the meat dishes, which is always appreciated. The owner is also super nice (over the phone may sound a bit gruff, but that actually made me trust the place more because that reminded me so much of my favorite places in NYC Chinatown lol)! Now my go-to Chinese food place! The noodles in particular are amazing and highly recommended!Previous: So far have only gotten delivery from them, but awesome experience! Ive been looking for good authentic Chinese food in Denver since I moved here from NYC and I may have found it! Im definitely planning to go there in person next time I have a day off and get all the Szechuan dishes.
Really good normal Chinese place. Nothing fancy, but they have a huge menu with all the stuff youd expect. Weve tried 4 different entrees and all have been great!
Great food
Fantastic Won Ton soup. Ask for the thin noodles. Reminds me of a place I loved in NYC Chinatown. Cant wait to go back and try the Mapo tofu!
Ordered Szechuan Shrimp & Egg Drop SoupEgg drop was rich and savory, shrimp & veggies were perfectly cooked in a lovely Szechuan sauce. Definitely my new go-to Chinese place :)
We were looking for chinese food and we came across KP, we called and placed an order food was ok.It all taste the same to me.
Horrible!!!!!! The guy yelled at me on the phone wouldnt help me I Ordered almost $100.00 in food and I was there to pick it up. They said they didnt have it I showed them my receipt and they said it doesnt match the amount in their system I said that because I tipped you 30%. I asked could I get a refund they said we dont do refunds I asked for re order of my food they said no and called the police on me.
Food and service was excellent! The lunch special is a great deal with more food than my husband and I could both eat
It was a very pleasant meal! The stuff is super friendly and gave us some recommendation! It is the perfect place for everyone who likes authentic Chinese food!
Amazing food!!
Food was ok, but they need more staff, the wait was super long. They also got one of my entrees wrong.
It is ok
Great family run restaurant that serves both American Chinese and traditional Chinese menus.KP is now open again for dine-in, which is good for both them and customers.
The OWNER saved EASTER....Customer Service was SPOT ON....and food and prices followed suit.Door dash dropped the ball and did NOT deliver our order. It was Easter Sunday we were all working late wanted my mother in law and kids to have still have dinner ordered extra when we finally got home.....door dash failed the delivery the owner kept resturant open later waiting for door dash when calls went UNANSWERED the OWNER PERSONALLY DELIVERED our order so we didnt have to miss dinner. The food was DELICIOUS. I am IN LOVE with their orange chicken it even had dehydrated pieces of oranges soo yum. Will def be a return customerm
The dumplings rock! the food is the closest to real Chinese food, like Chinese food in China, that Ive ever found in Denver.I found out last night that i was the first to order lettuce wraps. you have no idea what you are missing. I want to order the same thing every time i come back, but i cant, there are too many things to try.
I ordered 3 meals for my family and had it delivered to me. The food was great but the order was really messed up. I only got one pair of rice and my tofu lo mein wasnt even on the menu. I just got cheated out of around 10 dollars. I understand that mistakes happen and that its probably not a representation of the restaurant as a whole, but Ill keep this review on here and will remove it if I could get a refund for the item that did not arrive.Edit. Everything was resolved. Thanks KP Asian Cafe!
Me and my partners go to Chinese food place, one of our favorite places in Aurora
Had the chicken lo mein for the first time trying this place and it was tasty!! Mmmm just thinking about it again makes me want it again!😂😍👌🏼
Food was not good sesame seed balls were overcooked had a burnt taste usually is soft and chewy. My food overall was good bad taste. If i come here i would try something else.
It’s the best Chinese restaurant. Very recommended!
Best Chinese food I’ve had in Denver so far.
This is my favorite spot to eat when I go to Pacific Ocean Market, and I definitely recommend it!!! This is the reason why I rated a 5 star!!!!
Good food and good service. Must try in Denver!
Genuine Chinese cuisine and friendly people:)
Great authentic food. I would visit again!!
