This is a great place. We only purchased once (so far), but We had a very positive experience. We visited the Hampden, CO location and everything was great. Their staff on the phone, when called prior to visiting the store was very patient and very helpful. Ian, one of the manager at the store was extremely customer friendly. He not only helped get my son setup with his kit, but also, helped and resolve additional requirement when we went back for assistance. Overall great store, great idea of reuse and save!!

I bought a Epiphone 335 guitar on 12/7/20 from Guitar Center, but the case was on back order. I waited a month to find out that it was pushed out again till June 2021. Fed up, i googled music stores and called this one. Visited today with my guitar, and I found/purchased a great case for a fair price. Staff was friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely come back! Highly recommend!

Went in here to pick up a keyboard stand a bench. My 6yo daughter picked up a $5 recorder and was looking at it while we were shopping around, I also found a guitar Ive wanted for 20 years! It was used and cheaper than Ive seen so I got on my phone and transferred enough money to buy it. ($800.00 takamine gb7c) while I was on the phone they came over and let us know that since my daughter tried to play the recorder we have to buy it now. So I bought the recorder and left. Instead of a $800 sale they got a $5 sale. Extremely bad business practice. I understand they dont want kids putting these things in their mouth but how about putting them where kids cant reach them or instead of watching us walk around the whole time waiting for her to do it (cause all kids will) say something when she picked it up. Last $5 youll get from me! And just so the employees know I found the same guitar new at guitar center for $150 more and when I told them this story they matched your price! I run a business close by and I intend to push as much business away as I can. Horrible people! Forcing people to buy stuff for their kids doing something you know they are going to and doing nothing to prevent it is the same as theft in my book. Get these crooks out of the neighborhood!

I dont know about much about any instruments but was interested in purchasing an electric guitar. The young man helped guide me in the right direction and helped me buy my first guitar. There was a nice selection of instruments and accessories and everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will keep coming back!

Had to share. Went to Music Go Round today 8-20-2020,to look for a guitar. They have a lot of nice ones and since Im a beginner, I did not want to spend a lot of money. Let me start by saying that as a musician one of the places I usually cant stand is the music store. Music Go Round is the exception to that rule. I was amazed the moment I walked into the store to be greeted nicely and engaged by the first gentleman. I was selling some gear that I no longer had a real use for and honestly was dreading it. Ian was thoughtful and upfront from the moment we started talking. I felt that what I received for my used gear was very fair and I hope that it helps them turn a profit. I will make sure to go back when I am looking for new pieces. I should also note that the people who came in while I was there were also treated just as nicely. Thanks for making this a great experience.

This shop rocks! I will not be going back to a Guitar Center again after working with these guys. Their service is excellent and quick and the employees are knowledgeable and courteous. 5/5 would recommend.

I called in advance to explain that I needed a switch put into my bass. I was very clear to tell them it was not a stock setup. They said they could do it in-house. So I brought it in, I showed it to them and explained (again) that it was not a stock setup as my bass clearly had EMG,s and not stock pickups. Three associates were present listening and said they could do it no problem. Next thing I know Im getting a phone call saying they need to farm out the work because they cant do it and cant give a definitive date of completion.When I went to pick it up they kept insisting that I said it was a stock setup it was just adding a switch. If it was that simple I would have done it myself. These folks dont listen and then they dont own up to their mistakes.Ive been doing business with them since they were located at Chambers and Alameda. I have bought some really nice used instruments at a great price from them in the past.

I must admit that I am very impressed with this Music Go Round. I live in Colorado Springs, and made the trip to pick up a particular guitar that this store had.I was impressed by the store layout and variety of gear, the prices were reasonable and things looked good overall.The thing that impressed me the most was that the owner actually works at the store! I found him very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. His name tag said Mr. Ed... so thank you very much Mr. Ed !The second thing that impressed me was a young man who worked there by the name of Earl. He was the one who jumped through hoops to help me out and take care of the store while he was doing so.Mr. Ed, if you ever read this... that young man is gold! As a business owner myself, I would love to have him work for me... He is smart and willing to keep the business interests in mind as a matter of pride and duty... Music Go Round, Aurora, CoOrdering a used guitar online can be iffy, but the price and photos were too good to pass up.I received it quickly; it was well packed, in beautiful condition, and exceeded my expectations.The owner followed up with a personal reply to my confirmation email, which was also appreciated.Highly recommended.

Definitely would not go to sell I brought my $700 Jackson Flying V Platinum guitar and they offered me under $100 total rip-off staff is very nice and helpful thank you anyways.

Honestly I’m not even sure what to think of this place anymore. I’ve bought two pedals, a couple cables, and an amp from here, and I’m satisfied with all of my purchases. I can’t remember the dudes name but he wore a striped shirt and had some piercings, he was so amazing and helped me get a sweet deal trading in an old spider amp I had laying around, I even got more than I expected for it. However last time I came in it felt different, nobody was schmoozing or talking or anything, I brought two guitars in that were both played maybe like four times total, and pedal that was still in the box, the lady got me a total of like $320 for everything, and $400 store credit. I just couldn’t take it considering the whole lot felt worth a lot more, not for any sentimental reasons just based off of what they are selling for and the demand for them. I took the guitars to Guitar Center and they hooked it up! Bought all three for $500 check or store credit! I ended up buying a new guitar there after trading it in and they gave me 10% off and threw in a coverage plan for free, they killed it. So for buying cables and some EHX pedals definitely this place since it’s supporting a smaller business, but if you’re trading guitar center really hooks it up. I’m sure I’ll be back in for another amp when the time comes, but for now I’m probably not coming in too much.

They often have pretty awesome discounts that are pretty useful especially around the holiday season. Fun place to go with a pretty good selection for someone who is musically inclined.

Great place to buy used instruments for great deals. Ive bought all of my basses from there and saved hundreds on each buy. Id recommend strolling through every once and a while to see what has come through. Also, there are great, knowledgeable teachers there. I learned quite a bit in the couple of years I went for lessons.

Go here all the time I cant hate it its where I got my first guitar. Overall have gotten two guitars there, one acoustic and one electric and are great the prices are good and staff very friendly. I go in there after a rehersal when Im in desperate need of jazz 3 picks or even just want to go in and jam, its like a family if you go there you will become part of it as well.

I REALLY DISLIKE THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE. COMPLETELY USELESS. The older man thinks he’s on top of the charts or something because his attitude is terrible. I am always waiting to cuss him out... he might be a RACIST. Wouldn’t SUPRISE me... I can feel him and his terrible vibes. We come in, NO ONE GREETS US. We ask if they have BAND instruments, and they decide to have their own conversation and discuss BREAKS. And when you try explaining something to them, they talk with you like you’re an IDIOT. Maybe you should NOT be working with people if it’s too hard to talk to customers KINDLY. Ever thought of that? The boy with the curly hair is honestly on some type of drugs, but he was the most helpful. Every time I come here I get a bad vibe... but it’s the closest to my house, but I will have to be relocating... DONT GO HERE !!! Terrible terrible attitudes and people..

Greatest place ever to get any music gear! Im a starter guitarist and have stayed so for over 4 years. I search craigslist and other sites everyday for deals so I never usually go into a store. These people have taken such great care of me from the beginning even thought im not the best player. Great prices, great people. A decent inventory of used tube amps. Rivera, Marshall, Orange, Vox, etc. Service is OK. Fair prices.

Horrible customer service. Went in at opening on Sunday and just needed a small item. The guy handed me the small 3 pack of cheap reeds and pretty much walked off. Little did he know we needed a 10 pack of the most expensive reeds. Find out what your customers need before you abandon them for another drink of coffee.
