The staff is super friendly and very helpful! Id been to several places looking for a much needed item (pigs feet!) and they had just what I needed at a great price.

Since moving here in 2002 I have been looking for that East L.A taste and this place has it. Friendly helpful employees and just great street tacos.

Amazing food! We got 2 barbacoa gorditas. The barbacoa was so fresh, juicy and delicious. We also got 6 tacos, 2 each of the carnitas, al pastor and asada. The meat was seasoned perfectly and the tortillas were fresh. We also got one queso con frijoles pupusa. Everything was so so good! The staff was very friendly. They also had a great selection of produce, meats, and canned goods.

You have to try the chicharones con carne in the front or the fresh carnitas tacos in the back.

Such an amazing store with all the food and the variety of merchandise, but there is always something, the cashier is very rude specially when you ask something she just completely ignores you, I understand she might not speak English but at least don’t look at us is we were some aliens. Just a small tip to the owners: try and get more friendly staff. Doesn’t matter that they don’t speak English but at least try to do something. You can just tell all the rudeness in her even by the way she’s packing the food into the bags. Really bad cashier lady.

I used to drive to Lakewood for over priced items at another carniceria - never again. This place is truly a gem and Im glad I found it. Very clean freezer area (you can see into it) and facility in general was well kept. Super nice staff!

I go here often for my meats as well as get lunch at the restaurant. It’s very clean. You never smell the raw meat which is a good tip off they are following proper protocols. Many Carnicerias have that awful rotting meat smell. (Tip: Don’t ever shop at those!) The restaurant in the back has delicious authentic food. I also used them for a catering event for work. They were so helpful, food was ready on time and it was for an affordable cost. I wouldn’t buy shelf items there. Tends to be more expensive and majority of the same products at Kings or Walmart at a lower cost. Overall, I recommend them to everyone. You won’t be disappointed!

Specialty food market tucked in a strip mall. Mexican/South American food/groceries. Baked goods. Meat counter. Food sold in the rear of the store. Be prepared: menu is entirely in Spanish, which I don’t speak, but the staff helped me out. Salsas for the fresh tacos spicier than I can handle, but I’m a self-identified wimp. Tacos were delicious.

Hateful staff. Theyre very arrogant and rude. They dont even greet people and make fun of their customersThis last time my family and I went to have some tacos and menudo there was a cockroach on the wall! We complained to the manager and got excuse after excuse. On top of everything, the cook that went you get rid of the roach made fun of us for being upset about it. 0/10 would not recommend.

I literally can not emphasize how amazing our experience was here. The service was friendly,prompt and accommodating. We wanted chips and guac for our daughters. They didnt have any so they made them fresh! My husbands order came with home made tortillas! They were made there to order. My pupusas were next level! We are chefs from NYC we have cooked with some of the greatest chefs in the country and our personal opinion is this little tiny spot is a gem. I was reluctant to write such a raving review because i dont want to draw the wrong attention to this place and force them to dumb down thier amazing flavor for the Caucasian people. The cashier is rude, my husband and I have been to that butcher shop several times and most of the time she is rude, uneducated and disrespectful.But men go alone and he takes care of them wonderfully, he almost puts a red carpet for them to pass, it is incredible that they have such a person attending and I definitely consider that he has lost many clients just because of that rude person!

Good quality of products and food, good prices and good workers. Only me and my family have a complaint about the cashier. We believe that a person like her should not be in charge of a place that serves different types of people. Personally, me and my wife have had very bad experiences with her. My wife is always wrong when charging, sometimes she overcharges, they dont have well defined prices or because she is always on her cell phone or talking to someone and when one tells her she gets upset. She is our neighbor we live in the same apartment building. She keeps getting into trouble, my wife has a friend in common with her who lives in the same apartments and that friend tells my wife how she keeps talking about her colleagues and complaining about her work, we know almost everyones life who work there for her, or at least what she tells is a person who loves to attract attention in our home we have heard how she fights with her husband and how they throw things against the wall and even the police have had to interfere At work we have seen her cause scenes not only in the apartments but in her work. If I were the owner, I would be ashamed to have such a despicable gossipy problem person working for me this week the two times I went he was talking on his cell phone and he was not paying attention at the time of charging, one asks him something either about medicine or about another product and it seems that he is upset as if we should know where everything is, it is understood that we all have problems but we as clients should not be to blame for his problems, if he does not like his work then leave the place to someone If you know how to treat customers, you should leave your personal belongings at home and learn how to give good customer service because all businesses would be nothing without us customers. The place is very disorganized and the employees are very inattentive to both work and customer service. Several times I have had to go and the cashier always shouting and joking heavy And the shipping girl is never there, you always have to look for her and apart from the laziness that you can see for miles. Dirty meat department, they seem to kill the animals there.Very rich food, very good seasoning. It is one of my favorite places because of the seasoning but still the dirty kitchen. And the attention of the cooks is very distant. They go twice that they give me my order wrong. There is a lady cook who with her attitude makes us feel as if she is doing us a favor. When in fact we do the favor when we go shopping there. The first time I spoke on the phone to tell them of my order and no one picked up the phone. It only rangFrom there on out they have good products. Some caritos but they always have what Im looking for. Variety of vegetables and meat products. I will continue going as a customer but if I should pay more attention to the business.
