The staff was friendly and the selection was pretty good, But the prices were as much or more than at a mainstream supermarket. There might be some deals to be had, but I didnt see them.

The reason why I am giving big lots a 3. Let me tell you my story. I went into big lots on 5/23/2021. Front end busy. But very pleasant when you enter.They do greet you. I went over to the furniture department. There were 3 young ladies together/shopping. I saw a employee helping them.I began to walk around looking /waiting until he finished with the young ladies. I was never greeted by anyone. After 15 minutes, I learned his name was Steve. I heard him say it to the young ladies he was helping. He continued to talk with them/still did not greet me. After almost 30 minutes. I was getting a little antsy. He still never even engaged me at all. I even stood near the area where he continued to speak with the same three young ladies,explaining the same thing over and over to them as if they were incompetent/he still never greeted me. After more and more people started to come into the furniture area. He then still never greeted me but decided to call for help. I just want to let you all know if you encounter Steve in the furniture department, hopefully you will be helped or just even greeted by him. Customer Service is key and he lacks that ability. Please work with him on his Customer service skills big lots before you start to lose customers. Because if he did it to me. No doubt he has done it to others. We as consumers value our time. I did have time on my hands that day but wasnt expecting to be in big lots that long. Waiting is a given,I understand that. But not being greeted and waiting makes it worse. Steve needs a customer service class.

This is a very organized and well kept big lots. They already have Halloween and Christmas items out in September. I’ve always loved Big Lots, they have lots of great deals especially when you shop on the right days. I’ve bought furniture from them in the past and it lasts. From state to state I’ve never had a problem with their customer service. 👌🏾

So we ran over to this location to grab an order that I had placed. Drove a different vehicle and forgot our mask. As soon as we walked in. The lady screams you have to have a mask.. rudely! I said I just need to pick up and order. Yep but you still needs mask. I can’t tell you the last store I’ve went in that has said this to me. It’s fine if that’s your “rule”. But you might need to learn how to speak to the public. Plus the store was nasty on the outside. Haven’t been by this location in years. Will not be back!

They were slow at first with business then a rush hit. I was satisfied with POS.

Love Big Lot prices. On certain items, overall cheapest prices.

1 star because I did find what I was looking for but the 2 ladies working the checkout counter were extremely rude about my not wearing a mask. I have a severe medical condition and can not wear one. I tried to explain and they were both going to walk off and not check me out. I think that Big Lots needs to have them do some training about medical conditions that prohibit a person from wearing a mask and that you shouldnt be yelling at customers. I wont be back to shop there.

I had a TERRIBLE experience from when I entered the store. The ladies at the front desk was already dumbfounded besides ONE but she was also dumbfounded as well. I told them I’m doing a exchange since my item I had somehow broke. Reminder they never asked me for a receipt so I went to get the item I want to exchange for which was the same one since I brought it 4months ago & didn’t see a problem exchanging or whatever their policy states. The cashier named SHERRI asked me stupid questions WITHOUT asking me for a receipt first. Sherri says “ do you know how long ago did you buy it”? So yes I took it like FIRST of all you ask for a receipt before you ASSUME that I didn’t buy it here at this store. The way she was asking these dumb questions with her tone seem like I was lying or something. So I asked to speak with a manager somehow she got a little attitude with that like I wasn’t suppose to ask or something. So I explained to him since she wasn’t trying to explain right. Carlos assisted me with no problem but NEVER apologized for her unprofessional ways. Then she even gave me a shopping bag with a attitude after I ASKED for one. They both just gave me the item without even considering placing it in the bag.

I love my local Big Lots. This store has become a part of my weekend errands.The more I shop at the store the more I realize it cuts down my drive time with going from place to place to place by having a majority of the things I needed all under one roof. From a blow dryer, to shower curtains, to activated charcoal facial wipes, and everything is at a good quality brand as well. No complaints here for me Im actually quite pleased 😊

The cashier that waited on an older lady with natural hair was the bomb.com please thank her

They have good furniture at reasonable prices. The showroom is on the small side, but what they do have looks like good quality.

Went to Big Lots, Austell location to seriously purchase living room furniture due to the labor day sale. Upon arriving in the furniture dept. @ approx. 6:30 pm there were 2 employees lounging at a table in the back of the dept. So, my husband and I looked around. The male employee asked how we were doing and disappeared never to be seen again. We found a set we were interested in, after 30 mins. I saw the other employee and asked her if she worked there. She replied, I do but I am taking care of a order. Ok, I can understand that but not once did she even ask could I help you until I said it to her. Real disappointed Big Lots! Wont be getting my business.

I’ve been to this location a few good times checking for items that’s never in stock so gone that the whole ale is empty I try different locations but it seems like none of them restock items much online ordering takes to long but looks like I will have to customer service is always good here for me the items not in stock is the problem

You can always find great bargains and unique merchandise. I have been shopping at Big Lots since they first came on the scene almost twenty years or more ago. Each location is different and if you take the time to browse each isle, you will find great items, even exquisite foods.

Mostly like the renovations theyve done. Makes check out easier. However the new check out area is right in the sun so its hot and the credit card machine is hard to read in the glare. Must be hot for employees.

This is a well kept Big Lots. It has alot of really good ideas for home and cleaning products galore!! A very large selection of snacks and electronics, and as a plus there is am extended furniture side with sofas, and all that you may need to furnish your home. Employees are very friendly.

Big Lots is one of these stores that sells name brand items and some off name brands but prices are good, they run specials and send you coupons. You want to get a card like all stores have these days. All in all its a great store to pick up odds in ends.

Big Lots is a great place to get furniture I went and bought me a nice recliner for less than $300 which is great and I love it it also has food and clothing is more like a Walmart but a lot cheaper you will enjoy your shopping experience try BigLots they also have your voice when you spend over $15 you get $5 off your order that goes a long way with me have a wonderful day now period.

What can you really say about Big Lots? Its a closeout store.... prices are good, wide selection of goods, and the staff at this location is always very friendly and knows their inventory.

Too many things overpriced. The coach I love it. Its soft but when I removed the package it had a small cut on the side. So I swapped it out for another one.

With the redesign there more organized and customer focused

Quick grocery shopping or furniture buying this store should at least be an option for you. Never super crowded and great customer service, never had a problem getting help. Go check them out!

This Big Lots tends to have great deals and lots of good items on clearance (which is awesome). The best thing you can do is go ahead and get whatever it is that you see instead of waiting because it is very likely that it wont be there when you return. There was one worker there, Steven, who was super nice and helpful to EVERYONE. He was working his tail off but made a point to greet everyone who came in and then offer to help later. That alone made the trip there great. Ill definitely be back to this location.

Pretty clean. Unfortunately a lot of items arent visibly priced. When asked at checkout if I ONLY found water.. I mentioned items I wanted but couldnt locate prices... the sales person never said another word in fact, she walked away.

I visited Big Lots in search of a gazebo for our deck. The selection was fabulous and so were the prices! There were tons on seasonal items for various themes...definitely my summer decor go-to store!

I wasnt looking for anything in particular. I discovered lights for an up-coming event. I needed lights to compensate for paper and floral decorations. And, I discovered that I could use the outdoor projection lights for my indoor event!
