This place is my favorite Austin shop. I always find brand name furniture and decor at a fraction of what I’d pay retail. The staff is a blast. The music is great. And my home looks amazing. The entire experience is top notch. Totally addicted to this place.

Dont let the name fool you this is not a true consignment store. Ridiculously overpriced. They are selling new out of the box furniture for full retail. Amazing how they have four like new couches just alike spread around the store. Everything is full retail priced with no dated markdowns on anything like a true consignment store would have. Hope you dont need any help from the unfriendly staff. You are just an interruption to their time. There are way to many furniture stores in town selling the same products for actual sale prices to ever waste time here.

We found some nice unique furniture at a fair price. The people were friendly and loaded the furniture in my truck. There was a huge selection to choose from and multiple locations here in town. We will be back to see whats new..

Everything there was priced for the rich. This place had great pieces but not new. When I and my wife pulled up in the parking lot. We saw customers go in and come right back out. Thats a good sign the merchandise is over priced.

This Consignment store ROCKS! Ive never seen a more organized, clean Consignment store with quality furniture such as this. There is something for everyone, many styles, brands and colors to choose from. Our family has consigned items and purchased several items. The process is very easy and fair. We love going into the store weekly to see what is new and mingling with the staffing crew. The music is great in the store on the weekends and if you are lucky, you might by serenaded from a distance! :) I love the atmosphere in this store.

Awesome selection of really nice high quality pieces. However I didnt think the pricing was that much lower than brand new retail. Pricey.

Youll find good quality pieces of furniture at this shop. The issue is that prices are a little bit exaggerated. So, go ahead and have fun but just looking at things because youll have a hard time to take your money out to buy a thing there. Otherwise, the attendants are nice and helpful.

Drove all the way over here from Georgetown for two large lamps that we had previously purchased there and was old they could not sell them. Next time Send them pictures first and save you the trip over there. Not happy at all.

I’ve been shopping here for years and it’s like going on a treasure hunt & I always find GOLD! (Too much often times but hey, I’m saving money by not paying retail prices!) Lately, their inventory has been EVEN MORE AMAZING than I can remember. Why? Well, I found out it’s due in part because there is an addition to the ownership team and BOY is he a well connected asset! He owns Zgallerie, One Kings Lane and more! Soooo, you can now regularly buy brand new DESIGNER pieces from those stores at amazing discounted prices! ( Check our both retail websites if you’re not familiar. You’ll better understand my excitement!) Additionally they have been partnering with new staging companies, home builders & designers. (Plus, all the fabulous personal consignments from people like you!) Anyway, get in there & have some fun! Great music too. Love this store!!

Its such a blast shopping this store! I started working on a gallery wall at home and I always find the most unexpected things in this place and get so many compliments from family and friends. The prices are unbelievable and the staff is really friendly and helpful. This place is unlike any other store in Austin. I love it!

Mostly quality furniture but extremely overpriced. There was barely anything in there below $300 which is not what I expected from furniture consignment.

Yeah might be a few good finds. But you walk in and there are lots of things tagged as sold or on hold. So lots of window shopping only in this venue. Just the left over for whomever is not lucky enough to get on the hold list. So you gotta go in early or daily for the good stuff or you can purchase furniture with stains and scratches.

This place is amazing! I have several airbnb properties that are furnished from floor to ceiling with great things I found here. My customers rave about the quality furnishings and stylish decor and I have saved thousands of dollars and hours of time. The staff is beyond fantastic and always helps me design beautiful rooms in less time than most people can brew coffee. Every time I visit I find phenomenal deals on great brands and walk out feeling like a boss. I would be lost without this place. Thank you for making my properties look so great!

My sister referred me to this store, and I planned to drop in when I visited her in Austin. So, I loved so many of the unique pieces and I purchased a few items, and the staff was helpful. So my sister was very interested in a dining room table, upon inspecting the table, she discovered it was damaged (big stain)in the middle of the table, that was covered up by a center piece.Once the stain was discovered, the sales lady suggested putting it on hold so they could try and repair the table. She went in the very next day, the sales lady said they could not repair it, but the manager could discount it. My sister looked around the store for some additional items, ready to purchase and the sales lady came back and said that the manger would not give the discount after all. REALLY! Who does this? This purchase was over $1000, so any discount counts. So after reading other review, this seems to be a standard practice with this store! Im sure this place can afford to lose 3 customers during this pandemic, while other stores are going above and beyond to give top notch customer service. Honor your word Home Consignment...DONT waste customers time with BS!

I was so excited to find this store that when my friends were visiting from out of town I took them there to shop. I found a table that I really loved. The associate said it was a new table. But, when the centerpiece was removed, it was damaged. The associate suggested that I put the my pieces on hold for a day while she asked one of the handyman to look at it & touch it up. I called and went back the next day to see the results. While examining the table, the associate stepped away and came back with a discounted offer. I was considering it while I was looking at another object I placed on hold as well. Then, the associate came back to me again and said that the manager said they could not do the discount and the table was the original price. It was devastating & disappointing that they would do that & not honor the discounted price offered by their associate. In business, it is important to honor your offers at all times.

The place is completely disorganized and all the furniture is way too expensive for a consignment shop. The sofa selection was also pretty lacking, but maybe I just went in on a bad day. I wont be coming back though, because the one sofa I liked was $700, despite looking like it should have cost $400. Even the bar stools for expensive, at like $100+ for one. Hard pass.

Visited store yesterday to pick up furniture for a client and was not greeted or treated as a buyer. Gentleman behind the jewelry counter did not acknowledge or try to engage or even make eye contact with me. Older lady assumed I was there to pick up an order than to ask me what she could help me with. However, the gentlemen in receiving were very kind to my partner and I whilst picking up our clients order, they were highly professional and personable. Negative, weird vibes from the sales floor overall.

I have been on the selling side of Home Consignment. They have been so very easy to work with. Though our home was a bit out of their radius, after they saw pix of what we had, they sent one of their professional previewers to look at the items we wanted to sell and within very little time we had a list of items and prices that they expected to charge. As we have moved, we have come up with more items that were not on the original preview but they were always ready to give them a look, give us a price and get them on the floor. It was amazing to us at how fast they did get our items out and how well they were displayed. I had thrown in a couple of extra pillows with the sofa we were selling and they used them to show the sofa very attractively. We have sold large and small items and quite quickly. We like the idea that they price the items to sell, unlike many consignment stores who price high and then follow that with several hefty discounts. Everyone we have worked with has been more than accommodating. We are very happy that we consigned with Home Consignment at the Shops at Arbor Walk.

Nice furniture and reasonably priced

I could not be more disappointed. We found an odd set of animal hide chairs that would only work in a set up like ours. I asked the guy about a 10% discount as they looked slightly roughed and had been sitting in the sun all day. I was told that I’d have to come back next week to get ANYTHING off the price. Remember I’m being quite realistic only asking for 10% and this is a CONSIGNMENT STORE not West Elm. After I was told this the guy was very rude and refused outright to work out anything. The embarrassing part is that they’ve had them for 3 weeks and they’ve not sold. What kind of business owner doesn’t let odd chairs (lower PM item vs couches and tables) go after 3 weeks for 10%?! Complete nonsense, go to Austin Couch Potatoes!

Buyer be very careful here. I got a chair that had a decorative pillow on it. When I returned to pick it up, the decorative pillow was removed and the chair was stained where the pillow had been. The salesperson acted like they couldnt even see the stain, though it was clearly visible. No adjustments were made. I believe they put the pillow there to hide the stain. Of course, Ill get a pillow to cover the stain, but I wasnt happy with how this whole thing went. Be careful. After they have your money, theyre ready to get you out the door.

So excited about my recent purchases! I found a very gently used Pottery Barn shelf unit for way less than what I see it for on line. And now I have a pair of like new floor cushions as well that no other store could beat. Great finds! This is a great store to simply wander in. Its like an eclectic gallery of ideas and possibilities. And the staff does not bombard you at the door and hover! They say hi to me for sure, but Im free to be on my own and check in with them if I need anything. Ill see yall again soon!

The actual purchase of our furniture was great. The young man that helped us was very courteous and feiendly, and answered all our questions very clearly.Fast forward to today, and were having a lot of trouble finding help to get it to our residence.I called the store to inquire about return policies, I couldnt FIND MY RECEIPT or I would have read it there.Ms. Peggy andwered my call, and was rude from the start. First off a call came in at the same time as mine, and I was put on hold without any mention beforehand. Second instead of explaining return policies or even mentioning the receipt, Ms. Peggy stumbled for the words to say that I needed to call after 4 so I can talk to her manager.I said okay, because I just wanted the call to end, and was hung up on.My husband called a few minutes later for a more clear explanation, and she was just as rude. In regards to returns she decides to say Well? You should have read the receipt. When we ask about delivery fees she just asks how far away we are and completely dismisses our initial question until we forcefully answer hers first.Like I said, the actual purchase process was lovely. The young man that helped us was very enjoyable, but Ms. Peggy had ruined the experience. We will not be dealing with her specifically again.If I could give more stars I would, but 3 is being generous.

Home Consignment Center was exactly what I was hoping for when we needed to downsize and let go of our furniture. Everyone we had contact with was helpful and upfront about charges and prices that each item could realistically be sold for in the store. The moving service that Home Consignment Center works with was very careful about protecting our floors, walls, and other pieces of furniture while moving this large piece of furniture down our stairs. I could not have been more pleased with the entire process of consigning these pieces, and I can highly recommend Home Consignment Center for all. It was a most pleasant experience.

First time in and I loved it. I was very surprised by the quality and variety. There was a lot to look at and choose from. Im personally not very good at decorating but Johnny did an excellent job helping me select several new pieces of furniture that look really nice with what I already have & gave me a lot of suggestions on how to arrange and place things. Very knowledgable and helpful staff. I would absolutely recommend!

You must put this place on your furniture hunting list. You never know what treasure you could end up finding in this store and for much better prices. Most of their products are almost brand new. Happy shopping!!!

Easy to consign and get results. We sold a bed, table, and dresser in less than a month. They sent us a check promptly. They are always getting new stuff so check back frequently. You can negotiate prices so dont be afraid to ask.

I found my most treasured piece of furniture here. The salesperson was open to negotiation since it had been there for so long and they held it for me for nearly two weeks until I could get a truck to haul it. They were very friendly, professional, and polite and the selection was decent with styles to fit every design preference.

It is always fun to see what they have. It seems like there is something I find that i like during each visit. They have both new and used items.

Used and hand made furniture for decent prices. Nothing is arranged out sorted in the way youre used to in the large format stores. But you can in the rubble find some nice pieces. Worth a try.

I took 5 pictures down to HCC for consignment. They were very knowledgeable and fair with their pricing. One picture they felt was outdated, and I left it with their donation items. They explained the process to me and said I would have a check in 30 days. I actually got 2 checks in 30 days! Im so thrilled and now I wish I had more stuff to put on consignment with them! Love!

I havent bought anything from here yet, but I stop by regularly. They have a great selection. The store can feel a little packed at points, but, once you take the time to search around, you can find some great stuff!

This place is not good. ... You will pay more for used items than buying brand new items. I would leave 0 stars if i could. Not one person spoke to me. You cant walk through this store without knocking stuff over, there is 0 organization everything is just thrown around. Prices are outrageous

The items that have been consigned are very nice and in good condition. The only drawback is he prices which are extremely high for used items. Save yourself time and money just buy new and get the warranty.

This was my first time there. They have so many beautiful things that are very reasonably priced, from sofas, tables, paintings, bedroom sets, etc...I bought me a lazy boy sofa in almost perfect condition for under $400...a real steal! Oh and btw, the staff were all very helpful and courteous, a big plus in my book. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for really nice things for your home.

The Home Consignment Center do not know the value of furniture as they claim. I sold some patio furniture that they valued at around $179 which they were going give me half of that amount. I sold it for $250 on Craigs List and kept the entire $250. I would not have them sell anything for me.

Lots of good condition furniture and lamps on consignment. It is fun to just come and look as they have a constant supply of things to look at. I like this place.

Got a very nice table and a gorgeous chair. The older lady saleswoman got me in a whirl (seemingly purposefully) and rushed me to sign and leave withOUT the 20 dollar discount we agreed on for the chair, which I noticed later when I looked at the receipt.

A 24 mile trip to deliver took the delivery guys 4 hours driving way out of the way and during rush hour. Charged double the price. Delivery guys need to be replaced. This is redicious.

Seller beware. Their movers didnt wrap my sofa when picking it up, they sold it at a wildly reduced price (well before 30 days) without e-mailing or texting, and I will not receive a check for several weeks.
