I beg to differ with these 5-🌟 opinions about this ginger beer. I picked up a 32oz bottle from the Texas Farmers Market at Mueller; I was so excited to see an extra ginger option as I love ginger and its derivative products! It is hardly worth a 5 star rating. Is it drinkable? Yes, it is okay but I have had much better products and the $12 asking price is overvaluation at its worse.

This was very lackluster I went for SOCO Ginger beer. I thought this would be a Tasting room but I was very sad when I was only offered a growler of the flavor that I’ve already tried. I went out of my way to come here as I don’t live here in Austin to see if I could try more flavors but this is not the case. I really love this ginger beer so this experience truly broke my heart.

What a great event!.Diana, the sweet young lady representing SoCo Ginger Beer did a great job mixing up the ice cream sodas and giving us tips on different add-ins we could pair with the different flavored ginger beers. It was interesting to learn what few ingredients go into their products and how many pure flavors they have developed. Personally, I think -a good Moscow Mule is one of the most refreshing adult beverages one can imbibe in! SoCo is not only local but very calculated in their product. Everything is organic, everything is natural and everything is delicious!The owner is a physicist which lends a lot of credible scientific background to their recipes and helps them deliver the freshest products available.They sell a lot of product at our local farmers markets in Austin and San Antonio and in the Dallas area as well. The most popular size is the 32oz Growler but they serve it up in 16 Oz cups as well.SoCo is contemplating ways to expand delivery of their product. It will be a challenge for sure.The English Style Ginger Beer is currently located in small quantities at select local stores.We took a little time between flavors of ice cream sodas to do breakout rooms since this was a Virtual Zoom Event.Diana-advised this was her first zoom event but you wouldve never known it, she did a great job!!!Nani and I enjoyed it! After all-how many times do we get to indulge in two ice cream sodas in one day!!! (Yes, Nani got ice cream too!)Bravo!

Went in on a quiet Sunday afternoon with my wife who is a big fan of Soco Ginger Beer. When we arrived we were the only people in the building which they share with Moontower Cider. When we talked to the gentleman behind the counter he gave the vibe that he didn’t want to be there and was super unhelpful. He let us know they only had a few flavors on tap, and that since they weren’t back from the market that’s all they had. My wife wanted to try the prickly pear, but he let us know we could only get a cup or growler. We bought a growler of Peach and a cup of the Prickly Pear and she didn’t like it. She thought this was more of a tasting room with different flavors outside of the seasonal ones as the website shows current flavors they don’t have here.Just go to the markets to get the ginger beer as those have been better experiences.

I discovered SoCo at Coppell Farmers market a few months ago. If youre looking for a ginger beer that makes its presence felt, this is the one. The original is amazing, as are their unique specialty flavors.Fair warning: If you try it, its instant addiction and all other ginger beers will be ruined for you.

If you like a lot of ginger or just a little ginger there is a flavor to please anyone. Their original and Xtra have a really nice ginger and lemon flavor. The Xtra has a stronger ginger flavor and for some reason I really like it. It does not seem to have a strong ginger bite that you usually get with ginger. I am sure the lemon and the sugar help mellow that out. Besides the ginger flavors they also do seasonals. I have had the peach, blueberry, carrot and beet and hibiscus and all are excellent.I discovered them at the Mueller Farmers Market on a hot spring morning. I had to get a cup to go to help quench my thirst for the walk home. You can sample any or all of their flavors and there is no pressure to have to purchase anything. They also do growler refills which will save you money in the long run especially if drink this stuff as much as my family does. At the farmers market they are a cash and credit card taking business.
