Kassie the nose piercer was extremely rude. Once she came out I could already feel her vibe was off. I was trying to support my sister since it was her first time getting her nose done once I was in the room she didn’t even make eye contact with me all she did was kick me out and made the me feel so uncomfy. Never going there again.

The piercer, was extremely rude, she demanded only one person in the room to pierce. So my sister had to wait outside with my 6 month old. I asked which side of the nose most people get and her response was,”why would I know that?!” Told her the side I wanted.Told me sit down I took a seat and she rudely said, ” well I need to see your face.” Like okay? Check in girl was super nice and pleasant. Kassie, the piercer, was extremely rude, not only to us but to the check in girl as well. Very blunt, demanded only one person in the room to pierce. We asked which side of the nose most people get and her response was “I have no idea, why would I know that?!”. So ugly! Will not return.

My girl and I both got Tattoos at this location a day apart, Ian did mine and I couldnt be happier, he was awesome. Dot did my girls and she did an excellent job. Everyone there was very friendly. We will be back. The Tattoos came out spot on! Thanks guys

Lifesaver on piercings. I got a nose stud in early March through Platinum Ink and had an irritation bump that persisted for almost two months. I went back to them and asked for advice, and they just told me to keep spraying it with Neilmed saline and washing with Dial gold soap.I came here and realized my piercing has surgical steel, which is fine, but I have a known nickel sensitivity. Nobody thought to ask me that until I got to Atomic. After getting a titanium flat back put in here, my irritation bump was gone in a week.I’ve interacted with three different piercers here, as I also had to get a retainer put in for an MRI and that switched out as well. I actually had to come here for that initially because Platinum was out of retainers, and I came back to Atomic for help with the bump. I’m so glad I did. The piercers have all been knowledgeable and gentle, especially Laurel. Will only come here for piercings from now on. The place is also insanely clean.

Decided I wanted a septum piercing at 10:30, called ahead to confirm they could do it, scheduled online. By 11:30 I was in there, Jason was super chill and informative, and told me everything he was doing. Was out by 12:15.

Just got 2 piercings done by Joey!!! Highly recommend her!!! She is awesome and super friendly. I will definitely come back for future piercings by Joey.

I’ve gotten pierced at this location and it’s clean and it was a good experience. I went back for a tattoo I had a drawing and was clear about what I wanted. came in at 2pm. Was told to come back at 7pm and I could get the tattoo I wanted. Came back and he told me he messed up. Didn’t draw it and actually had someone booked for that time. Then told me he would make it right and he could do the tattoo Saturday at 11am. He was 45min late even walking in made me wait longer as he drew up something and then the drawing was 100% nothing that we had discussed at all. I understand this is on the individual artist and not the location but it put me off the whole experience. Very unhappy.

I’ve gotten 2 tattoos at this location and both have been done by Ian. He’s super awesome and makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. He did my first big piece on my leg and it’s literally the coolest tattoo ever. Definitely will be getting more from him. The shop itself is clean and the entire staff is very friendly also.

I’ve been getting tatted since I was 15, I am now 34. The kid I encountered as an artist was trying to convince me of the tattoo he more had an mind.... giving me reasons of why my idea wouldn’t work and that adding color to my tattoo would not look good or that white fades to quick to do white highlights on my full arm sleeve.. bro just say you don’t have the skill to do it boss and let me decide what my tattoo will look like, then he asked me to step out of his office and into the lobby because other customers were waiting.. when we walked out to the lobby the group there was interested in piercings and at this point my mind was made up that this artist will not earn my business today or ever. Never assume, how is he to know I plan on getting the white highlights redone often as I already do? When we first got there we asked him for portfolio.. he had no portfolio to look through and he told us not to expect him to have any ideas on tattoos. I asked him what his style of tattooing was he replied what he likes to draw.. I asked what he likes to draw he said what he likes to tattoo.. this is not a made up story.. I really think he was either tired for the day and wanted to go home or he didn’t have the skill to do what I was asking.

I can not express how satisfied I am with the service here, I had a wonderful experience with Laurel she is absolutely amazing!!. She was attentive and explain everything she was going to do when I got my nose piercing, I highly recommend going with her when getting a piercing.

I went to this location and worked with Lily. My step mom and I got tattoos from her. She’s very nice and polite. She took the time to draw out our wishes and was open to changes. Her environment and setting was laid back and calming.Her drawing of our tattoos and the tattoos and others she had hanging showed her artistry and made me intrigued for more. She’s very fast and does not take long.The prices are steep so be prepared. But if the quality of work matches then it can equal out. I went in for a touch up no problem.I would ask to work with Lily if you like color, water color affect, cover ups and just good quality customer service. Not everyone in the store is as friendly as Lily so be prepared for that but it won’t change my rating as factoring in the stellar atmosphere and decor and the cleanliness of the shop.

Ian Greathouse: I cannot say enough good things about this man and my experiences with him. Phenomenal artist, super professional, and very knowledgeable & talented. 11/10 will continue to get zapped by him in the future.

Do not go to this tattoo shop a worker their denied our business due to the fact that he did not want to believe that i have a mental disability and when provided proof he changed it to it has to be printed out documentation this was very striking to everyone in the room (most likely because of prejudice bias so the rule was probably made up) anyways i digress there are way better tattoo and piercings in Austin save yourself some time and go anywhere else pleaseThank you

I got my Tattoo from here on February 13th to surprise my fiancé for Valentine’s day. Due to last minute, I just called them and had a walk-in appointment. Ian was very professional and very understanding. I must say the service was amazing and had a wonderful experience. It’s been 2 months and I have no complaints. My fiancé loved it too. Thank you.

Kas did my belly button piercing for me and I’m in love with it! It’s perfectly straight and Kas made the experience fun and relaxing. It was my first body piercing so I was nervous, but Kas did a great job and I’m very happy :)

Had a regular lobe ear piercing done by Kassie yesterday! I thought she was professional and she made me feel very comfortable. She also tells good jokes! :] She made sure I knew what to expect and what aftercare measures to take. I cant wait for these to heal so I can do more piercings with her! The shop seemed very sanitary and I appreciated their extra measures taken like temperature checks during Covid times.

I requested a snug. The piercer Angela never once apologized for the fact she completely messed up my piercing. She only said this is not what I intended it to look like. I was not charge for the piercing but all I walked out with was a complementary bottle of saline cleaner for the hole she put in my ear. No discount toward a future piercing. I would not recommend using her as a piercer or even going to this shop for a piercing. I now ONLY have a hole in my ear that will need to heal and no piercing. Thank goodness I was given a free bandaid.

Ty was the first person I came to for a tattoo since moving to Texas from CT.He is one of the best tattoo artist, professional in any field rather, I’ve ever dealt with.Nice guy, great conversation, even better tattooing skill. A perfectionist. Which is what you want from a tattoo artist.I wanted a simple bible verse on my bicep and he nailed it. He exceeded my expectation.I will only be going to Ty when I get my next tattoo.

Angela at Atomic in south Austin pierced both sides of my nose and she was AMAZING!! She was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable and was so patient through the whole process, even when I asked her to change the placement on one side. She made sure I was happy with everything before piercing and did everything so quickly I hardly felt anything!

The artist that was working on Saturday 5-29-21 in the morning shift was very unprofessional. He did not introduce himself and instead of being helpful he came across as rude and lacks communication skills. I will never use this facility and Ill make sure and share our experience with others.

I showed up at 10pm to get a tattoo done but all the artists were busy with other customers. I came by again around 11am the next morning and Bradley was able to help me within 5-10 mins. I told him what I wanted and he came back with a whole page of options. He asked questions about my tattoo that I hadnt thought of myself! It took about 30 mims to finish, and I was charged $80, which was less than I expected to pay. Very happy with the service & quality of work. I cant speak for the other artists, but I would certainly recommend Bradley to anyone!

Great experience working with Jorge Luis. He was patient, creative and very skilled (what I wanted was very intricate with some extremely thin lines which not all artists can do). My 16 year old daughter got her septum pierced and I had a corrective lobe piercing. The lobby is clean and stylist. Bonnie took her time to make sure my daughter was at ease. She took extra time to fix my lobe piercing that was done when I was an infant. Bonnie measured and studied the shape of my ears to make sure she was placing the piercing in a spot that would make my piercing appear even with the other side.Friends that where with us were thinking about getting pierced themselves. The environment there is so fun. We will be back.

I had a great expirence at this shop. Staff is very professional and helpful, as soon as I walked in someone checked me in and took care of me. The place is really nice, clean and well sterilized. I got my navel pierced by Bonnie, she is so sweet and explained to me the aftercare. I love the placement of my navel and the (included) jewelry is so beautiful and great quality. 10/10 would recommend Bonnie, she knows how to get it done right!

Kris was a super sweetheart from the time i was setting my appointment to the time i walked out the door. He was 2 hours late to the appointment but thats fine, he had a good reason. When i showed him what i wanted he drew up something that was significantly different because he said he didnt feel comfortable tattooing the exact picture i showed him which was fine, i guess. He was sympathetic and polite during the tattoo which i also appreciated.Edit: one year later and the tattoo looks fine. Theres been a lot of bleeding and the lines arent as thin and sharp as i had hoped they would stay but its fine.

Artist responsible was Kris Oneal.1. Their deposit refund policy basically amounts to stealing money. They wont issue refunds even if artists havent done their jobs prior to the appointment.2. Paid $175 dollars for an outline, shop has additional $100 of mine that they didnt do any work to earn and wont refund.3. Have a half finished tattoo (outline only.)4. EDIT: The owner (reads like the artist) claims they did not receive return calls.. not true. I got one voicemail from one of the owners that I returned several times and left voicemails and *Im* the one who didnt get a call back. The rest is bs, twisting and misinformation dont buy it.

I’ve had work done in NYC and Portland. Atomic is my absolute favorite. Walk-ins are welcome, but you may have to call later to catch an open artist (worth the wait). The studio is clean, classy & staff are polite. Dot is my new hero! Her work far exceeded expectations, patient & brilliant artist!

I got my nose pierced here and it was great. Everything went smoothly and I didnt personally have any pain. The people here are really friendly and environment is over all really laid back and super creative. I didnt catch the main piercing guy, but I got Elmo and Id have to say hes really great. Definitely recommend him to anyone, hell take care of you, tattoo or piercing.

These people are awesome! Dallas did a really great job on my tattoo and everyone was really nice and really know what they are doing. I wish I had gone here for all my work. Its beautiful and very clean inside. I wont be going anywhere else.

FINALLY this location (Atomic Tattoo in south Austin) offers piercings! I went in today to get my septum pierced and Tommy, the piercer, was very helpful, organized, and knowledgeable. He quickly got the paper work together and the tools lined up. I would highly recommend Tommy for your piercing needs! My whole experience was great, very clean, organized, and friendly (something that many shops lack).

We had a group of six, each getting a small (3/4 in) tattoo and this was the most reasonable shop min. we could find in ATX on a Sunday ($60).*Highly* recommend Eddie! Super friendly, chill--acknowledges that its your body and seems happy to put in the groundwork to make sure everything comes out well.We called ahead and were brought back pretty quick. He played Friends and let us all watch each other in the chair. 10/10 would go see Eddie again.

Jorge helped me out here today and 100 percent met my expectations. I stopped at Platinum Ink originally and they showed zero interest in helping me and quoted me an unreasonable price. Stopped in Atomic after and was greeted with smiles and enthusiasm.Will definitely be coming back.

When i came in i was immediately greeting and helped by one of the artists. I liked how they didnt just set me up with a random artist but they paired me with an artist that they feel that would do the best tattoo for me. I had LILLY and i liked how thorough she was with her questions and she look my idea and put her style on it. Im in love with it.

I got a cover up from Lilly and I am beyond happy I did! I went to like 4 artist before her who said It would probably be easier getting it removed. I was starting to get discouraged then I came to ber, told her what I wanted and instantly she was like Yeah I could do that. And it came out looking amazing! You would never know that it was a cover up!! If your needing a cover up I would definitely ask for Lilly!

I have gotten work at Atomic before, but not at this location. Tonight I went here and had the pleasure to work with Lily! She was very personable, friendly, sweet and accommodating. She took my very simple and boring tattoo idea and turned it into something Im proud to wear on my body. She talked me through the process and answered questions. And she talked and distracted me during the process. I recommend her to anyone wanting a PROFESSIONAL tattoo done!! Go Lily!!

Everyone there was nice and pretty chill. Got a basic first tattoo and never once did I feel pressured or like I wasnt getting what I wanted. The artists were patient and quick in setting up paperwork. Would recommend or come back to Austin just to get worked on by them again.

Came here because of good reviews and was excited to get my first tattoo. Spoke with Kris two weeks ago about my design, he said cool will get it done but i will be on leave for a week. I said cool and i paid my deposit to secure something. I came two weeks later hoping something was produced. In return, Kris seemed like he was in a bad mood and was very negative in his tone and manner about why i was wondering why nothing was done in two weeks. I stated that this experience left a bad taste in my mouth because i was never contacted or updated about any status of the drawing during that time. Verbatim he stated that. “If it left a bad taste in your mouth then I dont want to tattoo you.” Fair enough, as it something that will be permanent on me, i dont want to be constantly reminded of the terrible attitude that was received from getting my first tattoo. Then when we decide it would be better to part ways, i wanted to get my deposit back he said he didnt have it and will get it to me tomorrow. Will see today if this is true. Overall, a very poor experience. Will not recommend to future customers.
