You answered fast and seemed very excited to help me wich is hard to find these days. I called for a Vino Meter. They had plenty in stock at a price cheaper than Amazon. My wife called right after me to confirm it was the correct device. After sharing a laugh and listening tona short story of why I needed it they gladly confirmed it was correct for my needs. We felt so welcome and cared for that we went online and ordered bottles and they were at the counter ready for pickup when we arrived. Thanks again everyone! I came on Saturday at 3:55 and was told it was too late to fill my 5lb tank. Party Barn did it in less than 5 minutes. This is poor customer service and will no longer be a customer.

This is the best homebrew store in South Austin. Its also (I think) the only homebrew store in South Austin, but its well-stocked and the staff is friendly and helpful.

This place is great. I first became a customer a year or two ago for cheesemaking supplies.The pandemic finally gave me a reason to start winemaking (gotta work on those apocalypse skills). I had been interested in doing it for years. I called them and they helped me pick out a winemaking kit for curbside pick-up.I will say, I think this place is aimed towards beer folks, but that makes sense in Austin. They are still solid on the wine side and willing to special order things. After my first batch, I asked and they are also special ordering me a wine kit that they dont usually carry.Ive gone back a few times for odds and ends. They also have a good selection of fermenting stuff. Ive started to make my own sauerkraut and got all my supplies at Soco Brewing.I appreciate they are offering curbside pick-up during the pandemic. They always come out with masks, are fast, friendly and safe.

Great local homebrew store with nice range of ingredients, and some ingredients are local. I brew beer at home and this place has just about everything I need and then some (+ wine and cheese). Ive been homebrewing for several years, and own my gear, but these guys have a great selection of malt, hops, and yeast in an environment that is welcoming and open to discussion if you choose to engage. If youre just getting started, they have a great selection of gear, and seem really open to getting you what you need if youre looking for something specific or not in stock.Keep it up guys!
