A technician arrived this morning at the exact time that had been set up. We received a text as well as a phone call alerting us he was on his way.Kennard was very professional, polite, and efficient in changing out two defective thermostats. He was able to quickly walk me through setting up the new thermostats on my phone. Very pleased with his service today and with this company. I would highly recommend them!

I’ve used Alert 360 for 6 years and have always been happy with their service (over the phone and technicians) and response rates for calls or false alarms are always really fast. Not sure if this is because I am grandfathered in from when they were Builders Security Group, but I am not on a contract.Today I had a technician (Steve you’re awesome!) come out to help me with the smoke detector. When he was done he asked where to put the ladder back and I let him know to just leave it there because I had to change the air filter and he kindly even offered to change it for me; talk about going above and beyond! He even checked my door sensor magnets (which were getting stuck due to weather/expansion) and replaced them for me. Thanks Steve!

My installer, Pete King, was wonderful! He set our system up exactly the way we wanted it, was extremely patient with our questions and made absolute certain that we were well informed & comfortable before leaving. Although he was very efficient with his time, we never felt rushed....and believe me, we asked A LOT of questions! Were so excited that we finally have a security system that addressed all of our concerns and needs.

I have been less than pleased with the service received and the product (specifically the video doorbell). The video doorbell I received has not functioned properly from day one of the install. The technician has been out two after the initial install to try and get it to work properly and it still does not work properly. I got some push back from my sales rep when I found out that a new model door bell was available via special order and I will wait to see if they actually follow through.

Tech Support was called due to front door not showing correct lock status on my phone, plus we had a window-open status when all the windows were actually closed and locked. Tech arrived on time and was prepared to investigate and resolve the reported problems.He was very polite and worked methodically thru the possible reasons for the problems. Found painters tape obstructing one of the window magnets. Problem solved. Also, he determined that the front door lock was not getting sufficient signal connection with the master panel. Installed a signal repeater at the appropriate location, and then, after much testing and adjustmrnt, the front door lock was functioning properly and the correct indication was showing on my phone.He stayed at it until all solutions were complete.I am pleased and satisfied.🧲

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. I should have trusted my gut from the beginning. The installation process was horrible, the gentleman was at my house til about midnight trying to figure out what he messed up with our AC when we first moved into our new home. He was trying to install a smart thermometer but it seems to have outsmarted him so we opted out of that part. The house already had 2 touch pads and sensors on the doors and windows from the previous owner so there wasnt much that needed to be done. Finally, hes done and we can get some rest after a long day....wrong, the alarm went off on 3 different occasions in the middle of the night. Called them the next day to fix the issue and they sent the same installer back out. Well this happened for about a week straight until they finally got it fixed and we were almost delerious from lack of sleep just waiting for the alarm to go off.From there, we did keep the system for 2 years and it seemed to work ok.We moved homes and considered bringing the security system with us but had a horrible experience with a sales rep named Julie Bunch. She had no idea what she was talking about and went back and forth on pricing compared to what I was already paying and basically was only trying to increase her commissions from what I could tell. When I asked her to send me the break down of what I was currently paying compared to what she was trying to charge me, she stopped responding for over a week. I called her and she pretty much treated me like garbage so I decided to end this horrible experience.I then reached out to a billing supervisor who I believe was named Lolita and she was extremely nice but informed me we could not terminate entirely but she would take 4 months off my contract to assist with the situation. Well, I should have gotten that in writing because with those 4 months discounted they should have stopped charging me last month. I got charged again today so I reached out to billing and got transferred to Sofie who pretty much called me a liar and said there was no way to transfer me to Lolita so we can get her side of things. I offered her the chance to at least discount these last two months and she told me to kick rocks.Dont waste your time with this company. Do the smart thing and go with a non-contract company like COVE or SIMPLI SAFE they will do you so much better. I have now been with Cove for 8 months and dont have a single complaint and their customer service has been great. Alert 360 just tries to hold you by the throat and make you pay for your mistake of choosing them in the first place.

We just moved in to our new house. Naturally, we tried contacting a big name company (ADT) but couldn’t get a return call. Aiden came to our door and introduced us to this local company. We were so impressed with his thorough explanation and knowledge that we signed up with them the same day. Sean came out and did the install the next day. He was friendly, professional and thorough in his install and explanation. They are not the least expensive, but we’re happy to support the local company!!

The service technician was prompt and courteous. He even respected my house by removing his shoes each time he entered my house. Any issues I had with previous security company he fixed and explained what to do in case I ran into any other issues. Cameras were installed without any complications. For those of you that are reading this review let me start by saying Look No Further. Alert 360 and their team did a Fantastic job. From working with their Sales Support person Lori C. who was very transparent with my wife and I and took the time to listen to us and our concerns / reasons for wanting to have a security system and she asked the right questions. Lori proposed a couple of system options based on our initial meeting and left it up to us to decide. No pressure at all to make the sale which was refreshing. Her Technicians arrived on time and were friendly and professional. They got our system installed and up in running within a few hours and took the time to show us how to program and maximize the system with all of its features. While doing so we realized that we should add a few more devices and the Technicians smiled and kindly added them. I would say that this experience was refreshing from the last security company we worked with at our previous home. They really went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. I got Alert 360 (also Central Security, also Guardian) based on all these reviews. The employees of the company appear to work on commission as they push for you to sign a contract that you cant get out of for anything. If you move, someone passes, you have a loss of income due to unprecedented times - it does not matter, you are obligated to pay the entire contract out no matter what. I have used them from 2017 till just now 2020. I had to move to a place that wont allow this service. Luckily I have only 2 months to pay out that they are still charging me for. I cant fathom someone elses situation if you couldnt pay for some reason. Sure, the service was fine. I had a hand full of false alarms but they never called to check and make sure. The app that they use SECURE SMART is very basic which is fine as well - it works. Other than that, its OKAY. Morally, I rate them a 2 star company because they are company full of higher ups that only look at you as the customer as a means to an end. They dont really care about your safety or your home. They want you to pay. The more people they sign up for their indentured contract with hardly an out for real life circumstances the more money they make. So, if you are okay with 3 year contracts and for see into the future that you wont ever have a need to get out of this 3 year contract that you absolutely have to pay 100% of and know that if you have false alarms they will not call to check on you. Then this company shall do. BTW, currently, I am out of the contract because I only have 2 months that they will bill me and they keep emailing me daily to sign another contract and another person keeps texting me every 3 weeks to see how my move went and when will I sign up for their alarm service. If you like this attention as well then by all means sign up for this alarm service with three different names.

Excellent customer service! Unbeknownst to us, one of our window sensors was loose and it wasnt allowing us to set our alarm. I called for assistance and they immediately scheduled a service call since we couldnt resolve the issue over the phone. They sent a very nice gentleman over to inspect and he immediately resolved the issue. Feeling secure again! Great company!

So at first I was very skeptical about using this service. First experience I had as a new home owner was everyone is trying to sell you something.I initially started working with a different company and a different salesman. Something about the entire experience felt off. So me and my family decided not to pursue a security experience from a business. I was very interested in other security systems. I did my research and looked at a great amount of systems. I will be honest and there is no such thing as a perfect system. You need to fit it around you. After all my research I was recommended this company and a certain salesman. His name is Mr. Sherman, my experience with Mr. Shepard was amazing to say the least. I personally work in retail and sales. Mr Sherman took an amazing approach when speaking to me and my family. He didn’t try to sale me anything. He spoke to me and made a connection. But it wasn’t about commission or sales. It was more about my experience. He wanted to understand what my family and I were looking for rather than sell me anything and everything. There was no pressure into a commitment time now. After he heard what we needed he showed me his security service. Now mr Sherman is not your typical salesman. After we decided what we wanted he created it and fit our needs. He showed me prices and made sure we were happy with what we chose. Next he and his team were able to create an opportunity for my family and I to get service within 2 days. He didn’t stop there. During the installation he stopped by and checked in on us and how the install is coming along. His customer service is unmatched. Me and my family are forever gratefully for his service. I’m not going to say everyone is this great, but Mr. Sherman and his team where amazing. Even the installers were professional and experienced in the field. What I will say is Mr. Sherman and his team were amazing. If you are looking for an amazing priced service and an amazing team to install it. You will be amazed and fortunate if you get Mr. Sherman. He is an amazing person. He loves what he does, and is committed to his role. Very hard to find.If you see this Mr. Sherman thank you for your service.

What a terrible company. At first things seemed like they would be good but since then we’ve been getting constant new items we have to pay for. Additionally I’ve been disappointed every time I deal with customer service. The last time a tech was out, they messed up our back up battery wiring and then the rep on the phone didn’t follow through with any of the help he said he would. We’re definitely looking for a new security company because this company is awful.

This is absolutely the WORST company and WORST customer service I have ever encountered.I apparently went under a completely binding contract that negates all reasonable explanation for cancellation and am now on the hook for the remainder of my contract. I am moving to a different area, and ALERT360 does not provide coverage to the area. Instead of accepting their limitations as a company, they are holding me responsible for paying the remaining contract for a service I CANNOT utilize.After repeatedly telling me, “there is no way possible I can let you out of your remaining contract” they did suggest that someone else could sign up for a service with my referral and THAT would relieve me of my ‘obligation’. In other words, we can let you out but we don’t want too because we want your 56 dollars a month OR for you to catch someone for another 36 months.This company is astoundingly selfish, and does NOT viable customer service. They refuse to accept their shortcomings and instead hold the community responsible.DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY, unless you want to hear “NO Secrets” document about a million times and then read hundreds of reviews about them not being honest.The business you lose will with these bad practices will not be sustained by the people you refuse to reach reasonable conclusions with.

Great company overall. Would be a 4 but had to come out 3 times for same camera and I had to call in and request. Last appt was supposed to be in evening after work but scheduled during work. Our tech came out on time and helped us with a few minor, but highly annoying issues. Once we fixed some expired equipment he helped with moving 2 window sensors that were in difficult locations to change. Steve came out for just a few minor fixes but left after fixing a few more items not on the list. Tech showed up asking me the name of the last tech, why didnt they and him back. Made 2 call to the office asking the same question, and one to the tech that was last in my home. After 5 min of deep sighs and his unprofessional demeanor, I asked him to leave my home. Called customer care to cancel my service and Yolanda was on the other end ready to assist.
