Pro Car Audio installed a back up camera and a burglar alarm in my truck. I called for information and had a very educational and informative discussion with Steve. Based upon our discussion, I brought the truck in and purchased the items Steve recommended. I appreciated that he was an effective listener to my needs and did not try to upsell me. The installation went fine and I am completely satisfied. I would use Pro Car Audio again and I have already recommended them to my friends.

Excellent store to get you car audio stuff done. I was planning to purchase a head unit and spend a whole day installing it but decided with this kind of mod, I’d rather get it done professionally. Car pro audio did a great job putting in the unit I wanted in my Miata. It was pricey but it’s worth it because they stand by their work. If you have any issues they do free diagnostics and fix wiring issues if needed.Shout out to Steve there, he really made me feel confident that they were going to take care of my precious roadster. They took the time to also tune the stereo based on what they felt gave the best overall audio experience and I really appreciated that. Haven’t really messed with the EQ settings since then, it sounds really good there’s honestly no need to. I’ll definitely come back here whenever I can afford speaker upgrades.

I have a late model Jeep and the factory sound system was not great to say the least. I picked Pro Car Audio to upgrade the system because it was the highest rated car audio store in Austin.Because I liked the functionality of the factory stereo, (after talking with Pro Car) I chose to just upgrade the speakers and add an amp. I wanted super high quality audio but didnt care about it being super loud. Long story short, Pro Car Audio did an incredible job. The sound is way better than I even expected. . . the sound is perfect even when turned up loud. In fact, Ive decided to go back and have a hideaway sub installed under my passenger seat. That gets installed tomorrow.Long story short, I would highly highly highly recommend Pro Car Audio in Austin, Texas. Their recommendations were spot on and the installation was great.UPDATE: Hideaway sub was installed and the sound is incredible. More than enough bass for almost anyone. It is like being at a concert in my car. The sound is so clear, bold, true and crisp AND of course loud if I wanted that.

Pro Car Audio installed a new stereo system into my car this week. Besides the stereo I got new speakers, it links to my phone so I can make calls and gets Google Maps. The system also has a hidden CD player. Sohail took the time after the installation to show me the various features. Everyone there is professional, knowledgeable and helpful. These guys are excellent. They did a backup camera installation for me and I was very impressed because it was hidden and professionally installednas if it was part of the cars natural build.

These guys did great work. I bought a set of unused older speakers to replace the stock ones in my 97 Landcruiser. They were able to install them quickly, and didnt try to upsell me on newer speakers I dont need. The price they initially quoted me didnt change after the install, and were very up front and communicative on any challenges they faced with my install, making sure I was comfortable with any decisions before proceeding. When I said I was thinking about putting an amp and sub in, they shared photos of custom installs in the same model car, and explained a few different options at different price points, with no pressure to make an appointment or get more than I really need. Real class act, very accommodating, Ill definitely be back when Im ready to install more hardware.

Great knowledgeable installer/owner I talked to. I brought my own unit that they installed. We set up a rear view camera, satellite, and a fully integrated telecom system w remote control from the wheel. Also got the windows tinted here and they do nice clean work. The stereo sounds great!

This shop did a front and rear hardwired dash cam installation for my C63 AMG and they did an amazing job! The dash cam works very well, without any flaws and the installation was very clean, without any cables sticking out anywhere. They also spent the time explaining how it works afterwards and when the timezone was incorrectly set the first time, they fixed it very quickly when I stopped by the shop again. I worked directly with Sohail to schedule the appointment over the phone and he was very accommodating with my schedule. Best of all, they were very careful with my car before, during and after installation. They did a thorough inspection of any pre-existing damage on the car and then I watched as they were very careful driving and working with the car in general. All in all, I would recommend this shop for any custom installations... They were very professional and easy to work with.

I normally approach reviews skeptically and might have left 3 in my life. These guys are legit. From advising and explaining the right products for the job, communicating any issues they came across on my 30+ year old truck to working through lunch on Christmas Eve so I wouldnt be without a car. Came in to have a sub out in my sons truck as a graduation gift. Sohail did an excellent job of giving me options that worked with my budget. In the end I was able to put a sub and a new head unit in for the same price I was quoted for just a sub in my area. Installation was fast and it looks and sounds great. My son liked it so much that he brought his truck back to have the rest of his speakers replaced.

Sohail was very professional. I was a walk in appointment to investigate an issue with the audio in the cab of my motorhome. The wait was longer than expected because of difficulty with an installation they were working on, but Sohail kept me updated and apologized for the delay. Once they got to my vehicle, the problem was quickly analyzed and found that the problem was a blown fused which was quickly replaced.

Tucked away in a semi-industrial sleepy part of North Austin sits a gem of an an audio shop. I just bought a new car-- and loved everything about it-- except the absence of rear seat vents (chintzy for a 30k car) and the OEM sound system. I was this close (right thumb and forefinger almost touching) to having the dealership pop in an upgrade... then came to my senses-- called Pro car, spoke to Sohail and 3 days later had an exponentially better system than the dealer was going to step me up to-- for 250+ less. Sohail is a master-- takes his time-- doesnt over promise and delivers-- on-time and on-brief. I highly recommend.

I wanted to install a WeBoost Drive Reach in a Honda Pilot. I reached out to 5 installers in the Greater Austin area, and heard back from maybe 3 of them. The main thing I was looking for was whether the installer already had experience and could work efficiently. I wanted to make sure the job was done correctly, avoid overspending because someone wasnt familiar with installing this unit, and also limit my time and exposure during COVID-19.Pro Car Audio was the only 1 of the 3 that seemed to know exactly how to do the job, specifically for our vehicle. Their communications were detailed, timely, and even included photos of previous installations so that we could agree on where to place the interior and exterior antennae.On installation day, there was a little bit of a mix-up with where to place the main unit, but we worked it out, and Im really happy with the install. Its clean and the unit works well.I would definitely use Pro Car Audio again.

Couldnt be happier with the service I received here. They asked all the right questions about my wants/needs for a stereo replacement in my 93 Toyota Hiace japanese important van. The original stereo was a Sony minidisc player and it had a controller near the windshield wiper control on the side of the steering wheel mount. They were somehow able to connect that controller to the stereo and every single button works as intended. They installed a backup camera that works great and is very well hidden. The microphone for voice controls was installed above the rearview mirror and looks like it was meant to be there, no exposed wires anywhere. They put the usb port in the perfect spot on the dash without damaging anything at all, it is flush with the surface and very solid. They took the time to walk me through setting up the stereo with my phone and the Android Auto app and taught me how to use all the features. They verified the Bluetooth works and did test phone calls both ways. All this was done when the shop was extremely busy. The guys were very professional and friendly. Highest recommendations.

Then the manager gave me a fair estimate and scheduled me quickly and conveniently.The next day the manager checked my diagnosis before starting any work. He offered a chance to change additional speakers which I declined.The work was done quickly and demonstrated before I paid.When a store delivers exactly what I wanted for the price I agreed to. I put them at the top of my recommendation list.

I had been to three other service providers for a low beam and driving light that went out simultaneously.
