I purchased a Mini Cooper from KW at Driscoll Motors. There were some (minor) lights on and I was anxious to take the car. They reassured me I could bring it back and everything would be taken care of. It was!!! They were great. No sales pressure. Super cool guys there! Thanks again. Would definitely recommend and buy here again.
KW was great! Highly recommended that you talk to him. He was available at any time during the process and also gave us space to make our decision without any hassle. Thank you KW!
Quick and easiest car purchase we’ve ever made! Thank you KW for the smooth purchase.
We had an amazing experience buying a car here. No pressure, very relaxed but professional environment. K.W. provided amazing customer service. Him and his team made sure we were completely taken care of. I would come back again and again.
Bought a Volkswagen Rabbit 2008 KW was a great help.
Very nice dealership. No pressure sales.
Super easy car buying experienceGreat customer service after the sale one one my front pieces of trim was hanging down the fixed it perfectly and quickly thanks to everyone there for making it a pleasant experience
I drove over an hour almost 2 to look at. 2017 ram I had called 2 times before I drove there and both times I was told I he truck was there upon arrival I was informed that the truck had been sent away for services in my opinion you shouldn’t post cars for sell unless they are ready to be sold
By far the best experience I have had at a car dealership! Even when dealing with the Covid crisis, K.W. ( the gentleman that assisted me) was cordial, and simply a pleasure to work with. There wasnt any hovering like at so many other dealerships. It was as followed if you need help let us know, and if theres car youre interested in well get you the keys. The wife, my one year old and myself all hoped in the car that I was interested in. And with out question we were allowed to take an unaccompanied test drive. Thats unheard-of. They even recommend the best place for financing. And with 2.5% interested rate as proof, they werent joking about The Best. I would come back here over and over again.
Recently purchased a truck with the help of KW - best experience I’ve had at a dealership. KW is a cool guy and went above and beyond to get me in the exact truck I wanted (at the price I wanted). Nothing but good things to say about this place.
I bought my very first car here back in 2004 and it was such a wonderful experience, I still remember and recommend Driscoll Motors. Right before I came to Driscoll, I was ripped off by another dealership (will remain unnamed) who sold me a vehicle that was not worth the price I was going to pay. Thankfully, I had friends who told me to take it back and the company canceled out my sale.Driscoll Motors sold me a very reliable vehicle that lasted years after I paid it off. As a struggling college student, it was nice to have a vehicle I could depend on, and Im thankful for the honesty and integrity at this dealership.
Best dealership around, . Great customer service and made the transaction so easy and smooth. Big thanks to Todd, kW, and Janelle. Thanks
Driscoll Motors made purchasing a car a very easy experience. They were communicative about details of their cars, and did not pressure your final decision at all, but rather sought to ensure that you had all the information to make a decision.
I drove from San Antonio to Austin to buy a truck from Driscoll. I worked with KW and one of the owners. These guys were great to work with. Very honest and accommodating. I will check with Driscoll first the next time I need a vehicle. I highly recommend them.
We just purchased a very low mileage, former rental car from Mike Lacy at Driscoll Motors. I cant remember a more pleasant car buying experience. They are truly no haggle which is wonderful! Mike knew the history of the car, encouraged us to hire our own inspector (Auto P.I. - they were great as well), and was completely pressure free and laid back. Auto P.I. recommended rotating the tires and said it was time for an oil change - Driscoll did all of that and we were ready to go! We would definitely recommend Driscoll and Mike to anyone looking for a car.
Purchased a vehicle from them a couple of weeks ago .These people are great to work with !! They are honest, kind and caring . Thank you all for a great experience !! 😉 I appreciate it !!!
KW was a pleasure to work with.
I am an insurance agent with Acceptance Insurance on Airport blvd. I had the pleasure of speaking with K.W. he is professional and respectful!
We bought a 2013 Nissan Juke. Very happy with the car. KW took care of us. They were easy to deal with.
*Great customer serviceOpened the gates and showed me the truck an hour before they opened.* Quality vehicles at a fair priceNo salveged titles and no sneaky service contractsFor used trucks I will be a repeat customer.Update: 6 months later and I still feel dealing with Driscoll Motors was a wise decision.
Great vehicles at great prices. Totally different way to buy. No pressure tactics. No need to haggle over price as the website introduction indicates. All vehicles are clean. Have been buying my cars and trucks from Driscoll Motors since 1985. I have been recommending them to family and friends and they have been repeat customers also. Thank you Mark, Chris and Todd and the rest of the team. It is hard to believe anyone would give this dealership a 1 star rating.
Nice people, but car has issues that werent fixed as we were told they were. Such as tires werent properly inflated and something is wrong with tire pressure gauge. Also one of back light had lose wiring we had to fasten into place. Would have given 5 stars if these were fixed
Looking to buy my second vehicle from them and havent ever had a problem.
Awesome folks.
Guys were really friendly and dont hover over you while looking at inventory.
Our experience purchasing a Yukon XL through Mike Lacy at Driscoll Motors was exceptional.Buying a vehicle for us is always a huge decision and we put a lot of time, effort, and research into the matter. We crossed paths with multiple folks at Driscoll (Mike, Todd, Wade, etc.) and each one of them was extremely gracious and willing to accommodate us: patient and informative answers to our questions, vehicle test drives, and helping us to verbally process pros/cons to our different buying options.THANK YOU to the Driscoll Motor family for being an excellent example of an ethical and genuine company.
I have known the Driscoll family for years. Have bought all my vehicles from them. Great place to purchase cars and trucks.
An excellent dealership. A pleasure to deal with, no haggle pricing makes the experience a lot less of a pain than a traditional dealer. Lot is full of nicely priced cars.
Shady salesman/owner named Chris Driscoll dont trust them. Looked at a truck that had multiple issues with it that would cost alot to get fixed. Truck had a puddle of coolant underneath it when I got there. He want to knock only $400 off when repairs it needs are going to be around $1500. Truck needs brakes all the way around, tires are almost bald one has a nail in it, and the coolant leak needs to be fixed. Not to mention the nasty smell the truck had inside from previous owner. Guy acted like I was crazy for trying to talk him down over that $400. Go somewhere else where they will have the decency to tell you the truck has problems. I only knew cause Im a mechanic and know what to look at when buying.
Friendly staff, great quality vehicles, and great prices! Highly recommend looking here before you shop anywhere else.
Mike was great to work with. After driving it, he recommended Auto PI to investigate any additional unseen issues. We took that recommendation and so glad we did! We hired them, and they showed up on the scene in less than 24 hours. The car drove fine, but many things wrong and about to go!! We decided no for this particular vehicle and saved $1000s because of that recommandation! Felt good to be helped not pressured!
They made buying a car so easy😄😄
I recently purchased a work cargo van from Driscoll Motors. I had been searching for several months for a good work van and they were all over priced of $2000.00 or more. My credit union rep at UfCU had referred me here. These guys did not try and produced any confusion, they were honest, straight forward and had a cargo van that was priced right.
Mark just replaced Mike who moved to Colorado. Both guys helped me out in my search for a red Dodge Ram 1500. I found one online and went to drive it. I showed up and they handed me the keys. NO SALES JOB WHATSOEVER. They said that if I had any questions to come let them know.Anyway, I take it for a test drive and I notice that it has 65k miles on it instead of the 34k advertised. I wondered if they were pulling something on me. When I get back, Mike informed me immediately that they had two 2014 Rams on the lot and they accidentally put me in the wrong one. So he gave me the keys to the other one and I took it for a spin.He didnt know it at the time, but Kanga Roof was looking for 2 new-ish trucks and we bought them both. The total transaction took an hour and a half with zero hassle. Prices were both below NADA, trucks were super clean and in great shape. You cant go wrong dealing with Driscoll Motors. Ask for Mark when you go!
These guys have zero customer service skills. I caution you, there are plenty of people out there you can receive service with a smile and receive a quality vehicle. These guys are rude!!!
Great car buying experience with Driscoll Motors. If you need to shop for quality, inexpensive used cars without the stress of dealership sales tactics, I would highly recommend looking at Driscoll Motors of Burnet Rd.
Excellent selection of quality pre-owned vehicles. A++++
I purchased a very low mileage, gently used, Mini Cooper from Driscoll Motors a few weeks ago. My husband and I loved the hassle-free pricing that was a few thousand dollars below the same make/model at competing dealers. We worked with Mike Lacy and the entire transaction took less than 1.5 hours (main delay was funding from UFCU since transaction took place on a Saturday).Last week the car left me stranded at the market with my 3 year old. It wouldnt start. We had driven it less than 200 miles and after replacing the battery and trouble shooting the check engine code, my husband put a call into Mike at Driscoll to see if they would take a look at it. He spoke with Mr. Driscoll and he agree to have his mechanic look at the car. I am embarrassed to admit that the main issue to malfunction was that the car was out of gas (gas light did not come one). Mr. Driscoll still repaired and reimbursed the towing fee.I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Driscoll Motors!
Friendly staff and good deals on vehicles.
My wife and I went here with the intent of buying a used Honda CRV. Wade copied my license, gave me the keys and a license plate and we proceeded to try it out. We pulled out of the lot and gave it a bit of gas to make sure it could go, and to get moving before the traffic caught up.. we went round a loop via Braker, metric, and Rutland. Stopped half way to change drivers, then returned to the lot. When we stopped in the parking space we got a huge waft of rotten eggs from the exhaust. I told my wife it was likely the catalytic converters age causing it, and it may need a new one soon. We walked in, talked to Wade and I mentioned the smell. He immediately got defensive and said quickly almost talking over me that any car that is stomped on while cold would do that. I mentioned to him that I have mechanic experience and that from my experience that didnt ring true. He again almost talked over me, very defensively that we must have pushed overly hard... I said we pushed it a bit when we turned into traffic but not anything punishing. He immediately barked back that even his van would do it if we pushed to hard when cold. Until this point we were still interested in either the CRV or a RAV4 he had on the lot, but I told him that his defensive attitude was making me have second thoughts about dealing with him.. At this point he angrily said fine, go somewhere else.. For someone claiming to have an A+ rating with the BBB this kind of rudeness was a huge warning. He was extremely rude, defensive about a problem we had with one of his vehicles and gave quick blanket excuses to cover the issue. I know my Tahoe hasnt had that kind of issues when cold since I replaced the catalytic converters, and neither has any other vehicle I have owned or dealt with that had healthy cats.. I would not trust this place at all and hope if you read this review, that you too would have the wits to pay close attention to these guys so you dont get shammed or shafted by this type of shady business.P.S. We found a better deal at our next stop on a used RAV 4 and were treated with respect and courtesy. So me recognizing this place for its shady practices was a good thing for us, hope this review helps others..Thanks.
Quality cars. Good people.
Stopping traffic to back out a trailer is fine, yelling at people and giving them the finger while doing so isnt.
Good honest folks to do business with!
Overpriced cars, dealership does not negotiate AT ALL, tries to give a third of trade in value according to KBB. Scummy and cheap.
