Very good looking dealership. Modern and futuristic. The selection of vehicles is good despite the challenges that most dealerships and the industry are having these days. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable about their products, I just wish I wouldve been offered to test drive some of the vehicles that I was interested in (CX90 and Polestar). Definately some room for improvement there. Staff was not pushy at all which is a big plus. Overall a great experience.

Chris White was a pleasure to work with. He was timely and professional in presenting cars within my price range. He did not beat around the bush and discussed the differences between models presented. Its clear that he is knowledgeable of the inventory of not only Volvo, but of the various brands traded in. He dresses sharp, talks straight, and makes your needs the top priority to finding a car. Where other salespeople at other dealerships tried to talk me into deals that I could not make work, Chris was able to find a car that I felt safe to call my own for many years to come. Despite a maintenance issue found on the vehicle after it was inspected post-sale, he was quick to bring the issue to my attention and managed to keep the agreed upon price as the sales price. It was corrected (timing belt was close to going out) free of charge. I was granted a loaner vehicle to make up for the long queue for cars awaiting inspection. With Chris on their team, Im not surprised that the queue is long - Chris knows his stuff and feels like he not only takes your specific needs in a vehicle seriously, but he knows which cars best fit those needs. Despite what you may hear about large dealerships from smaller dealerships and their customer retention, Chris focuses on winning life-time customers. Its without question that I will ask for Chris next time I need a vehicle anywhere near Austin, and you should too!

Kevin Sims in service was outstanding. I was working with a 3rd party company and Kevin was over seeing the repair process having to communicate constantly with both myself and the owner of the vehicle. Kevin has exceptional communication and customer service skills. The dealer was flexible on pricing due to our situation. 10/10 would recommend this dealership due to Kevins professionalism.

Bryan Price has been my Service Advisor for years! I’ve always had exceptional service & have never felt uneasy about taking my car in for any needed work; he’s very reliable. My Volvo is an 05 & came with LOTS of issues. Since i’ve been taking it here, it now runs beautifully with all major problems fixed. The dealership itself is very clean & comfy, i’ll sometimes do work in the lobby on my laptop while waiting for my car. I will continue to be a customer!

I had the BEST experience buying my Volvo this past weekend. Michael Flake was great. We had so much fun test driving and looking for the perfect car for me. I would double check with other Volvo dealership service to make sure youre not being ripped off. On February 1, 2021, I was quoted $1200 for a new brake module + $495 in labor to install, and $700 for software to update to Pilot Assist 2 on my 2016 XC90. When I ask if I can just do the software, they said no because the new Pilot Assist 2 requires new hardware. A Volvo dealership in Houston charged $180 for the software update and shop time for the Pilot Assist 2 update, no need for the expensive hardware updates and it works fine. Dont let their service department at Volvo Cars of Austin rip you off, shop around.

Great overall experience! Went into the dealership with a ton of question about the XC90 and ended up buying one. Got all of my curiosities answered all the way through the purchase. Heads up, this dealership is the worst. I made my appointment one month in advance because I needed a loaner. I dont know if its because I am Hispanic or what, but I got a Subaru as a loaner, and everyone else in front of me and behind me got a Volvo loaner. It took five days for them to change one small part. I got no head up, no updates. When my vehicle was finally ready, the receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. This dealership has lost my business. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Bought a vehicle last week. Our car salesman Will Nakassa was amazing. Did not pressure us in buying a vehicle. Gave us space and answered all our questions. Emmitt the finance manager was great too. I highly recommend these guys when buying a vehicle.

I would not recommend this dealership for several reasons: appointment times are not honored, customer support is minimal, not unpleasant just not helpful, and over priced slow service. After waiting 3 days they finally confirmed a check engine light and quoted me a price that was over double what I ended up paying at another autohaus...and done in 3 hours!!! Not 9 days. The loaner car I was given left me stranded 3 days in a row. After calling to talk with the GM I got help that day,, and was able to get another loaner.Overall not a good experience on 2 different visits.I have loved my Volvo and might have been a Volvo driver for life but will not now as no trust that it can be serviced when needed. Customer be aware.

Chris White is a great salesperson! My car unexpectedly died and within days he had me in a new way. He made the process very easy!

We leased an XC90 last year and the ownership experience has been awful. The car itself has had several problems with software and driving, and the dealership service is the worst we have had. The speedometer is once again flashing a blank screen after we had already left the car for over a week. The dealer now has no loaner cars available at all. The service does not compare at all to cars we have had with BMW or Infiniti, the car has also been a disappointment. If you think you are paying for a luxury car experience, this isn’t it. Will be our last Volvo.

This is a review for their service department. Wait times have been ridiculous. They tried to up charge $50 for this visit with no explanation (for same exact service I get everytime) Plenty of times they haven’t even reset my oil change light. Have only had the option for a loaner car 1/7 times. Shuttle was too full twice. Car wash has worked maybe 1/7 times. For example: my most current visit for a scheduled oil change (made 7 weeks ago - it was the 1st available oil change appt): I’ve waited 5 hrs and 15min after being told 2 hours max. Service advisor had emailed me 3 hours after I had gotten there telling me additional concerns - but I hadn’t gotten the email because I was working on my computer and not on my personal email. At the 4th hour service advisor finally came to find me to tell em what was in the email. I politely declined additional work and he told me it was in the wash. The 5th hour-continued to wait until I finally got my car back 5 hrs and 15 min later. No communication to tell me it would be 3 hours later-I could have ubered or made other arrangements.

Emailed for wife to get new car. Told sales she hates the car buying experience. They acknowledged this and said they would make it easy. She goes in Tuesday to test drive, then they say car is ready Friday. OK, make appointment at 9am Friday because we know dealers are busy. Goes in Friday before 9. 9 passes, 930 passes, 10 passes, wife leaves at 10.30 without new car, dealer really didnt care as she waited.Thanks for wasting my wifes time. Why make appointments then make her wait and wait? Someone else will take our money with more respect.

I had a wonderful experience buying my first Volvo. I stopped by one evening just to look, but was planning on purchasing another brand. Alex was extremely thorough in answering all my questions and showing me all of the features of the cars I test drove. I came back to look at some specific cars and Michael helped me that evening. When I decided on the car I wanted, Michael was prompt and thorough in emailing me about the available options and keeping me updated on the installation of my accessories. Called Michael Frolich early Saturday to let him know what we were looking for. He was very patient and even offered up a used XC 90 that might meet our needs. When we arrived that afternoon, he had a car waiting for us to look at. He went over the features and then let us loose to test drive as long as we wanted. Once we made up our minds, we haggled back and forth but quickly made a deal. I would highly recommend Volvo of Austin and Michael Frolich as he was super easy to deal with.

The Sales Team was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable to help us select and buy our Volvo V90 CC. He provided us with all the options at hand, features and services thus helping us make an informed decision without pressure or force. Dealers are most times over zealous in wanting to make a sale. But the Sales team here were effective in providing us with options without forcing us into a quick decision. The finance team too was concise and transparent to us in understanding the finance options available and the variety of services including warranties, wheel, tire, windshield damage plans, etc. offered through Volvo. They were able to get us a better deal as well through lower interest financing. Servicing department were able to get us in and out quickly whilst providing us with a loaner car. What more can one ask for or expect? We would recommend this dealership and especially its people to anyone interested in buying a luxury vehicle. The benchmark has been laid down.

I purchased a new vehicle (XC40 Recharge - Pure Electric) from this dealership on 5/4/2021. My sales person was Alex Endara, and I really enjoyed working with him. He is very low key, great at explaining all the features in my new vehicle, and wasnt pushy or pressuring at all. He was very accommodating with respect to providing me the sticker price, counteroffers, communicating with me over text (my preference due to my schedule), and much more. I highly recommend this dealership and the Volvo brand. Exceptional craftsmanship, and Volvo covers so much with its standard warranty for new vehicles.

Andrew was great and helped from beginning to end. So patient and showed me multiple options until I found the perfect one.

While I waited longer than I had hoped, I was comfortable while doing so and everyone in the waiting area was masked which helped me feel safe. I added rear brakes due to the comprehensive inspection performed while my car was in the shop. I loved that the car was washed and vacuumed before being returned. A touch of luxury I didnt expect.

Chris White was very helpful! He explained each step in the buying process for me, answered any questions I had and made sure I understood what he was saying. To top everything off, as I was leaving a car was stalled in the street and he helped the people push the car to the side of the road. I am glad I purchased my vehicle with him. He is highly recommended in my book!

I may have encountered the wrong sales guy, but unlike most reviewers my experience with this dealership was abysmal. No interest in putting a deal together. Had to go outside of Austin where the deals were much more aggressive, and the sales professionals were willing to listen and move quickly to do a deal. Very disappointing.

Update: They did get back today and are trying to make the situation right.Has to be most lack luster experience. The initial call went well and I walked into the showroom, was shown around and explained the different trims and options. Narrowed it to a specific model and left as it was past closing, a few actions agreed upon. No communication whatsoever after that, they didn’t respond to emails either.

Ask for Grant, really personable and helpful with a good sense of humor. I leased a car here about 2 yrs ago, I’m still super happy with my decision :) The service dept is always on point and very helpful as well, Kevin is great!

My wife and I went to the dealership about 30-35 minutes before closing. We went with the intent to look at an XC60 and a test drive. After letting reception know our intent and being told someone was coming to help, we proceeded to stand and watch employees close up shop for 20 minutes. At no point after we initiated contact did someone come talk to us or even acknowledge we existed. Puts a real sour taste in your mouth not to be taken seriously.Quick edit because the issue seems to repeat itself, my wife and I are both POCs, like those in other reviews who were ignored

Not customer friendly at all.I went here thinking of making a purchase decision. But no one attended me for 10 minutes. I was just walking here and there in the showroom. Finally, a lady came and said I need to wait either 45 minutes or come back again just to even speak to a representative.I even asked if I could have a quick look at one of their cars, to which she said I need to come back again even to look at a car.Then I decided it is better not to make a purchase with these people as they are 0% customer centric.Such a shame. Even though Volvo was one among my short-listed brands, I decided not to purchase a Volvo vehicle after seeing these people.

Almost walked out with the wrong part but because the word Volvo was not in the new one I walked back in to confirm i had the rightvpart OR if they could sell me decals or volvo letters. Different associate checked part and told me I had been given the wrong one. Sure hope its the right part when I get home. Got gifted a Volvo key ring for my troubles. 😁

I arrived early in the morning for my 40K miles service. They said I had to leave the car for a day. This could have been communicated with me weeks before when I made the appointment. I was later called during the day that the car was ready and I had to rearrange my schedule to pick up the car. Not being able to request the shuttle, I had to call for an uber which was extremely uncomfortable for me during a pandemic. When I arrived, they realized the car was not ready - some extra paper work needed to be done-. Finally when I received the car, it was washed outside but the interior were dirty, including the plastic protections the service crew used and left on the passenger seat. I got all the tires changed with brand new ones as well as the battery. Less than a week after service, the car gave warning about uneven pressure in tires and and needed a recalibration. I had to do all calibration myself, with complete dissatisfaction of the FIRST fully paid Volvo service I received.

We bought our Volvo XC60 with the help of Michael McKenery in sales and Ilia Pauloo in finance. In my 35 years of buying cars, this was the best, most seamless experience Ive ever had.

I inquired about a specific vehicle on their website and they emailed me saying it was still available. My son called to let them know what time we would be coming to the dealership I emailed them as well just to be sure. My son called them again to let them know we were on the way however when we arrived the vehicle was already sold. So I just wasted 2 hours in Austin traffic my son wasted an hour and a 1/2 they could have called they had both of our cell numbers and my email. Rude and inconsiderate.

After being told I had a cracked manifold by a different auto shop that would cost me $3250 to replace, I took my Volvo to the service center at Volvo Cars of Austin and Im SO glad I did. Apparently it was a completely separate, less significant issue, and replacing the manifold wouldnt have fixed the issue. I was also thrilled to know that my repairs were still under warranty. Jason and the team got me in same day and had it fixed by the following day, complete with a vacuum and wash. Im so glad I brought my car here and appreciate the professionalism and honesty (which the other auto shop did not have) from Volvo Cars of Austin!

I had a great experience with this dealership. I wanted a specific car with a specific trim but unfortunately could not find it near my area. I found the car I wanted online, called and spoke to Andrew Brudahl to make sure it was still in stock and made the 3 hour drive out that same day. He was so helpful through out the entire process, explained everything thoroughly and was very honest about all discounts that applied (even one I wasnt aware I was eligible for). He then took about 45 min to help me set up and show me how to use everything, every single feature in the infotainment system, every safety feature, and even the Volvo app. I think this alone made the drive worth it. The finance department was also very quick and helpful, never once pushy on all the extra add ons.

I had the best buying experience at this dealership. I made the drive twice for test drive and the purchase the staff was amazingly friendly. Chris was our salesman and we couldnt ask for a better time. They were even understanding about the sentiment of my trade in.

Grant was a superb communicator, provided timely replies, showed professionalism and care throughout the transaction, and listened to our needs and desires to put us into the correct XC90. When we toured Volvo, I didnt even know about the T8 model but after listening first, he showed us several options including the T8. It was then we knew the T8 was the car for our family. Revising my original post, as I returned to this location to actually look at purchasing a new car and not having my existing car serviced. The entire process was a disaster. The car I fell in love with and would have walked out the door with that day, turned out to be the WRONG car. Same make/model, different year and mileage - sales person brought the wrong car to test drive. So obviously when I did get introduced to the actual car - the condition was not what I originally fell in love with. I had to COME BACK the next day because the intended vehicle wasnt ready for viewing, yet its been on their virtual page for over a week. Then we FINALLY get into conversations about purchasing and when the Sales Manager inserted himself, Brian, he was completely rude, argumentative, and stonewalling every part of the negotiation. Dont let them fool you that they are doing you any favors on pricing - YOUR good credit is what is getting you good deals on these cars - Needless to say, I had no hesitation walking out of that building with no new car. Id rather drive an extra hour to the next location than ever step foot near this place again.

Took our Volvo into Austin Volvo and received exceptional service from Tommy Ellis. I had gone to Another luxury car center and was told I needed a whole new compressor for the A/C, but the professionals at Austin Volvo inspected the car and found it was a simple wiring issue and saved me about $1800. I couldn’t be happier the A/C is working great and I fee confident in bringing my Car to Volvo Austin.

Hands down one of the best car buying experiences we have ever had. Micheal, our sales guy was amazing. We did not end up buying a Volvo, only because we could not find the color/price combination that worked for us, but we would highly consider returning when we need a car in the future.
