I was pleased to find this location during a day trip to Austin. I got a double espresso that was well balanced and served with a cookie wedge and a pour over The menu was similar to most coffee shops, but the coffee selection was delightfully varied. Overall the shop floorplan was nicely appointed and inviting.

I love this place!!! I first tried it in the airport and then had to come try it here. It’s so delicious! They make their syrups from scratch and you can really taste it in the drink. The other thing that I love is that their drinks aren’t so sweet. It doesn’t overpower the coffee at all so you can enjoy it like it’s meant to be enjoyed. My husband got the SS toddy (pictured) and I always get the iced mocha (not pictured because I drank it all lol). Enjoy!!

I love Medici! Their espresso drinks are consistently excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is laid back. The fact they are also now at airport also makes flying a little more pleasant. ☺️

Medici Roasting has delicious coffee and pastries, and their staff are all so nice! I love bringing friends and clients here for a pleasant atmosphere and tasty drinks.

I absolutely LOVE this place! Its quiet and calm atmosphere allows me to connect with friends and really get some actual work done here. I also love the across the street access to great food and drinks, and the walkability of this area for cleansing my energy. Shout out to Medici for making my favorite iced latte in Austin! Yum! Great coffee. I’m visiting from out of state and went back two days in a row to get a coffee because it was so good. I had a simple drip coffee and it was delicious!

Great place to hang out for coffee, do some work on laptop, and just enjoy the local coffee shop in small neighborhood setting in Clarksville near downtown Austin. The staff are all friendly. Very good coffee. A bit cramped, but obviously popular. The staff was mostly friendly but not overtly so. I had a cappuccino that i really enjoyed. They even serve it with a tiny slice of stroop waffle (which they also sell whole) if you get it to stay.For some reason, my friend was not asked for here or to go and was given a to go cup and no cookie. 🤷‍♀️Overall, it hit the spot and I’d stop again.

Some of the best tacos and coffee in Austin. It was the first coffee shop I ever went too after moving here. Always super friendly staff who treat regulars like family! 10/10 would recommend

I love supporting any local coffee shop. The original Medici is a staple in Clarksville and they serve seriously yummy coffee. Their cold brew is really smooth and delicious.

A quaint neighbourhood coffee shop with one of the best brewed coffee in Austin. The outdoor seating is perfect for a brilliant day. It can get busy in the mornings with long waits for a seating.

Awesome coffee shop offering locally roasted beans. good standards did cleanliness and covid safety. It’s busy but not crowded. Order inside and pick your drinks up from an outside window. Also a good place to set up shop when working from home. Housed in a historic texas home with a nice outdoor patio around the back. Dog friendly.

Been coming here for years and the coffee and service are always top notch. Their new social distancing protocol is also really great. Theyve also added more patio seating to accommodate for life during the pandemic. Try the Toddy SS if you like cold brew!

I liked the place its nice and its got a good amount of seating. The coffee on the other hand was just terrible I tried a total of 4 drinks (to give them a fair shot) and all of them tasted watered down.

Have been to Cafe Medici downtown location multiple times - however, I came to Lynn lane location for the very first time; it’s rustic, and located conveniently for business meetings - a must recommended place.

Smooth latte. Very good! Nice barista! Clean place, but you have to sit outside because of covid.

Im here on a Sunday and just witness these guys and gals serve an uncountable amount of coffee to what seemed to be an never ending line of people. Yes, it was packed but this was a fast moving line. Exceptional service and this is truly a local spot even though Caffe Medici is a chain. Ive been to them all and this might be the best location. Everyone who works here is great and this specific operation is very impressive.

While being open early was a blessing, it also brings less of a crowd, so double win. This coffee shop is absolutely massive with a large bottom and upstairs, so forget about being shoulder to shoulder with other customers as they have multiple lounge areas and tables. The menu is what one would expect from any other coffee shop, but it does have some perks such as breakfast burritos.

No parking lot. I had to park in the neighborhood behind the cafe. One size cappuccino for $4 and I think its a 6oz. Breakfast tacos available but not on corn tortillas and some pastries. Staff is NOT friendly or really very helpful. Seating inside. Limited seating outdoors. Seems like a great place to be a regular patron if you live in the neighborhood and can walk up.

We went for an Anniversary latte. Everything is served very authentic, and the brew is fantastic, so the $ is worth it. Friendly service.

Simply the best cappuccino in town. Instantly addictive. The coffee roast they use is full of complex flavor with no bitterness. They have mastered the art of steamed milk with a magical, velvety and creamy texture, poured with care so as it blends perfectly with the espresso. A delight of taste and texture.

The coffee is always delicious and the atmosphere very studious and relaxed. Their parking lot is pretty small, but its well worth it if you can find a spot. The staff have always been very kind plus they serve you coffee in actual mugs, not flimsy cardboard containers! The amount of coffee is no joke either. You really get what you pay for and what youre getting are delicious drinks filled to the brim. Seating can also be pretty tough so be prepared to wander around for a couple of minutes looking for a free chair to open up.

I have been coming here, every time I visit Austin, for the past 13 years. Such a cozy, unique coffee house that still hand packs their espresso for each drink. The baristas most always finish off the top of your espresso drink with the foamed milk artwork. Some of them are rather talented with this touch! If the weather is nice, sit outside on the stone table and chairs!

Caffe Medici in Austin is a great spot to meet up for social gatherings as well as business meetings over a cup of coffee. Seating is convenient with a number of table and countertop options and Caffe Medici’s coffee is always a great choice.

Friendly staff. Quaint atmosphere. They offer some gf foods. They dont offer whipped cream! I want gluten and whipped cream. Got it?

Medici has been my favorite go to coffee shop for the last ~7 years. Both the West Lynn and Guadalupe location have great service, atmosphere and most importantly coffee!

The reputation holds true. Caffe Medici is a gem. The service was perfect, warm but not over the top. My cortado was delicious and at the appropriate temperature. The ambience was cozy and neighborly.

A great place to meet clients or for networking. I had an informal meeting there this morning and had no problem parking or finding a place inside to sit. But the coffee is the best thing about this place. I had the Americano. Probably the best cup of coffee Ive ever tasted.

They make REALLY GOOD coffee. An Austin classic that’s good for working, but not too quiet for a conversation. The americano is pretty much the gold standard. Ice teas are a nice change of pace.

Im not a coffee drinker so my authority of cafés should be taken lightly-- however Caffe Medici has always been a popular spot for locals and I figured Id give it a whirl. The space was everything youd expect from a small-scale, cool little coffee joint: tiny tables for intimate conversation, laptops and headphones open and out, and a tiny hand-written menu. My only peeve was the A.C. wasnt powerful enough in the back of the café during a hot afternoon to do its job, but otherwise this place is peachy.

Keeps the charm of the old house converted to coffee shop. This is one of the first Medici locations, and its definitely my favorite. Friendly staff, cozy space, outdoor seating, and great coffee. What more could you want?

Their coffee is AWESOME. I like my coffee strong- and theirs will grow some hair on your chest. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but I like to ride my bike over and earn my treat. Great service too!

I was invited to this cozy little spot for a study session. I had a really tasty turkey and cranberry sandwich (pre-made) and a delicious chai with soy. The vibe was chill and low key, and I really enjoyed the eclectic art pieces hanging up. The staff were super personable, as well.I think the prices, while more expensive than Id like, are pretty standard for coffee shops these days. The only downside is that they close at 8...that just seems early to me.

This is my favorite Medici of the three for its quieter neighborhood and outdoor seating. I typically go for a latte and a Topo Chico, and sometimes a toasted bagel. Parking is tricky with the shared lot, but there is side-street parking not too far away.

The coffee here was very smooth and excellent, the culture a bit on the clique-ish side. The staff was ok, but not overly friendly. I think friendliness of an establishment is important. It makes the difference between wanting to stay or not. If you are looking for the old Austin vibe, this is not the place.
