Wow, better then I expected! First time at this location. I have had kolache before where there is more bread then food. These babies were stuffed! Their coffee is pretty good too.

Great kolaches! Inexpensive for what you get. We tried apple, cherry, strawberry, cream, sausage and cheese, and sausage and egg - we werent disappointed. I love that they have a drive thru as well!

Over all good quality kolaches (really loved the bbq brisket) but I wish they added more cheese in the kolaches that are supposed to have them and that they were heated more thoroughly...

I dropped by here to pick up a few things for breakfast for the first time and I was pleased that I did. The breakfast kolaches I chose were delicious and I will certainly be back when I need a change of pace for breakfast in the future.

Opened late, then stated it would be 15 minutes before the food was ready. I was on my way to work and didnt have more time to waste. I went to Lonestar Kolaches and received excellent service.

There’s a literal fly infestation. I noticed a few while in line, hoped they were just in the dining area. Nope. At the register, I was swatting them away from my face while ordering and could see half a dozen or more swarming the Kolaches. The workers didn’t seem to mind, just waved their hands at them when grabbing my order.Gave two stars because the kolaches tasted good, but couldnt make up for the gross feeling I had while eating them.

The kolaches are good, but you can get good Kolaches anywhere. The service is the absolute worst. Its like a road crew standing around watching one person do everything. Except the person working has no clue what theyre doing. And theyre always out of everything. Do they not know how to make more instead of running out?

The jalapeños poppers keeps me going back. I bought my husband some sausage, cheese, and jalapeños kolaches as well as sausage and gravy ones. He liked both of them. He didnt like the Philly cheese steak ones.Personally, I would love to have the kolache filled with sweet stuff just like the jalapeños poppers. But that is not on the menu. I would also love to have a deal where you can pick 12 kolaches and pay the dozen price.

This place is definitely worth it. The prices are respectable, the service was good, and the food is GREAT. They have such a varied selection, and all of it was great. For something out of the norm, give this place a try.

Pretty good kolaches!

This was my 1st time here. I ordered two different kolaches, but the BBQ one was awesome! So good, I have been back twice for the BBQ ones!

Only customer in line however staff didnt greet me and just stood at register talking amongst themselves for a few minutes until they took my order. Asked them heat kolaches i ordered, they did for like 5 sec and kolaches were still cold. Like whats the rush? Im the only one in line. Then i got to eat cold kolaches. Pretty terrible cheap quality dough, horrible sausage. Could have had better breakfast and experience from mcdonalds for a quarter of the price. Wont ever be back. Avoid.

Many different options and tastes great!

Nice little place with a drive through near Amherst and Parmer. Wide variety of options from traditional fruit/cream cheese to scrambled eggs and cheese with bacon (really good). The bigger sausage ones are quite large, and there are options like jalapeno popper, chicken enchilada, and one with spinach. OH, and the strudel niks (apple and cherry) are SUPER flakey and delicious. Cinnamon twists are nice and chewy. Staff is polite and friendly and their service is quick and efficient.

I never heard of Kolaches until my coworkers brought a bunch of these into my office. I tried the egg and cheese one and I knew immediately I had to come to the store some time. Since discovering kolaches, Ive tried a few places throughout Texas but this is one of the best for sure.I also love that their menu is basically whats on display in large, very readable text, and its super affordable. The staff is also extremely friendly. Will definitely be coming back as a regular for a delicious breakfast treat :)

Been going here for years, they’ve slowly been reducing their quality. Some of they’re kolaches are decent, but with Lone Star Kolaches just a few minutes away it’s kind of a no brainer to spend your money elsewhere

Recently remodeled the interior with booths. Small, but quite nice.The taste of some kolaches seem different and not as good lately. Not sure if it is a different recipe, ingredients or cook.Staff members are friendly.

I love this place. It only takes two and Im full. Sausage and gravy is my favorite kolache because it actually tastes damn good. Nothing tastes frozen so Im assuming its made fresh daily. I wish there was one of these places near me in San Antonio

Crazy wide variety of kolaches. They got the regular sausage and sausage jalapeno, but the interesting ones range from Pizza to Italian chicken. Best of all everything is really cheap,.

My daughter really enjoys these kolaches. Sometimes I even order a couple more so she can have them for breakfast before school. I only wish we could find more coupons.

Good for a quick bite, nothing to rave about. Sweet and savory offerings. Has a convenient drive thru that goes around the back of the building from the Thai Cuisine side. Thai Cuisine is great BTW.

Fantastic selection of Kolaches. I tried the croissant ham and cheese Kolache and it was definitely a meal on its own and very tasty. The sweet Kolaches are great as well. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Coffee is not that great so it was a bit of a turnoff.

This place is great for a breakfast stop or just a drive through, if you are out of time. Either way it will be a good call. I tried 3 of the several types of kollaches. Ill definitely go back to have the other types. It closes by 2PM, if I recall correctly. The kollaches were really fresh and there were not lot people in line. Awesome way to start your day.

Never had bad food here. Highly recommend the sausage and gravy, bacon/egg/cheese, polish sausage, and sausage/jalapeño/cheese.

They were out of some good fruit Kolache, but overall, pretty good thing.

The food was good but they microwave the kolaches to warm them up. Also, their soda dispenser wasnt hooked up in the dining room. The lady that helped me didnt speak English very well, hard to understand.

The dough is fresh, tender, and enjoyable - a good filling: dough ratio.I have tried a handful of different kolaches here and so far have concluded (my personal taste), that although the egg ones are tasty, I am not too much a fan of these.The little sausage with jalapenos is good but the sausage is skinnier than a Vienna sausage and its packed full of jalapenos. Its good, but not a favorite so far.The Philly cheese steak is definitely one of my favorites - cheesy and packed with meat, very flavorful.The jalapeno popper one is another favorite, full of cream cheese, jalapenos, and bacon. Very creamy and delicious! But beware, this one packs some heat.The sausage and gravy one was a surprisingly liked one..tasted just like sausage gravy and biscuits.Customer service was mixed, was OK a couple visits and a bit better than OK the other visits. The place was clean and their product reasonably priced.All is all I really do like this place and plan to visit again - soon!

Solid kolaches. Not the best, but they generally have a good mix available at all times. I wish theyd be better about labelling the box, because theyre generally indistinguishable.

Ordered online and it took 30 min after I arrived to make two of my kolaches.

Gotta try the Mexican blend coffee with natural sweetening. The assortment is amazing of breakfast to lunch kolaches....I will go back.

Great for take-out breakfasts. If youre vegetarian, you have to get there kind of early since they tend to sell out of the few vegetarian options will before lunch on the weekends.

Opened at 6am, had no kolaches ready. Had to wait 20 minutes. Do yourself a favor and go to Lone star donuts 1 mile east. Delicious and READY when open.

I love the kolaches here. They remind me of the ones they make in Houston. The staff has always had rather bad service when I have come. They dont ever talk, they have mixed my kolaches all together so I dont know what Im eating until I take a bite and they have always made my family feel like we are inconveniencing them by being there.

All I can say is.... Sausage and Gravy Kolache!

The sausage and gravy kolaches are hands down my favorite. Some are hit or miss but the classic Polish styles are all pretty good and same with the sweet kolaches. The kolaches with just sausage are good as well.

One of the best ham and cheese croissants I ever had. Ordered online but doesnt seem like there was any point to it since they never had the orders ready when I got there.

The food isnt that great, it all tastes like its out of a can. The bacon egg and cheese kolache I got smelled like fish and I had to spit it out. Im not usually one to give places two stars, but this just wasnt satisfying at all.

This place is always busy and I do not know why. Their kolaches were really bad and we tried both sweety and savory pastries. I would not recommend it. We have not gone back.

Many sweet and savoury kolaches here. The staff are friendly but the service is not outstanding and they seemed to be a bit absent when I initially walked in (though admittedly it was a very quiet period before closing).

I came back again recently and went inside the store to eat. There is a large selection of kolaches here. I got a bacon and egg, but it didnt taste like bacon. The bread was a little over done on it. Had one of those HEB receipt coupons, so I thought I would give it a try on the way into work. With the coupon I bought more than I ever was going to eat, so I planned on sharing at work. Hard to do when you have no idea which kolache is which. They didnt label the bags and just tossed them in there. Free for all guessing game. The kolaches Im used to are more elongated with no egg. Theres has egg and is a giant bun ball. It was slightly warm when I received the bag in my car. Overall taste was not there for me either.

The best croissant kolaches! Others try but theyre not even close.

The ranchero is the best by far, especially if you time it right and get there right when theyre freshly made.
