First time going to this place. Ordered a Cappuccino, and was smooth! Im not a vegan but I like to try new things. I tried the vegan sandwich and was truly delicious. It was so good, that I had to get more food. I ordered a panini and was even better! They are persuading me to be vegan and its working :)

This place is so friggin cute! They have a delicious lunch menu with excellent bread and very good coffee drinks. Will absolutely be back.

Opera Cafe is so amazing! I went there today for brunch! They have a wonderful menu with lots of options that you dont find elsewhere often! I got their kebab wrap and it was so well made and delicious! They make almost everything themselves! Also got Turkish coffee! As an avid coffee drinker I was really craving a good Turkish coffee! I dont see that on the menu of many places!Also what I loved the best about this place is that you feel welcome and the environment and the owners are just so wonderfully kind, passionate, and nice! Highly recommend!

Our daughter just move to Onion Creek community. Morning walk brings us to this wonderful cafe. We are amazed by this place and good decorations, good coffee.

Great coffee shop. This coffee shop has its own unique European vibe to it, the paintings on the wall, color themes and furnitures made me feel like I was in a different country. There was a Turkish coffee as one of their menu and I tried it, was very good. They have salads and few snacks/food as well.Workers were very polite and pleasant without being too professional or rigid. Overall, a great spot for some quick sipping or a meet up.

Went to this place for the first time on the way back to Austin from San Antonio. Understated is probably the best way the describe this place. When you walk in it doesn’t look like much, purple walls / a mural / cans of espresso / art work that feels like it’s from a home goods store. But, then you order.The vegan food will satisfy even the meat lover in your life. I had the tomato / mozzarella panini and it was seasoned well. Did not get coffee unfortunately, but from the smell of things - I would have been in for a treat there as well. Would recommend giving it a shot.

Opera Cafe is a hidden gem in the south Austin area. I am super fortunate to live and work so close to their location. I appreciate their delivery service. Especially days I’m too busy to leave the office. The ownership and staff are pleasant and amazing to interact with. Happy people are always great to deal with. They also offer a rewards program for heavy coffee drinkers and frequent customers. Give this place a try, you’ll love it! Help support local business!

This used to be a favorite of mine. My husband and I would go regularly and when our family would come from out of town we always made sure to bring them by. We were extremely disappointed when they changed the entire menu to vegan. Would have been great to see some vegan options added, but to completely take away the ability to have milk in a latte means we wont be back. The decision to alienate an existing customer base seems odd, especially after so much time. Staff is super friendly, they support local artists, and I wish them the best.

I had a very good salad here. The restaurant is very laid back. It is a bit hard to find, but it is by a Subway, which makes it easier to locate. The food is fresh and the service is good. Go and enjoy a healthy, tasty lunch.

You can get lots of tasty vegan food here. The BBQ burger is delicious. I dont think anyone could tell the difference between this and a regular burger. I recommend giving it a try.

I am truly saddened to learn the restaurant has changed the coffee and food menu to 100% vegan. My family enjoyed ordering breakfast every weekend especially the egg and cheese croissants. The food and coffee were incredible! I will still give 5 stars because of our positive experiences in the past.To our dismay we will no longer be ordering from Opera House :(

My wife and I ate here to try some vegan options. We ordered vegan kebab sandwich, jackfruit tacos and Turkish coffee.The kebab was ok, the tacos were really bad and we didn’t like them at all and the Turkish coffee was simply boiled and need much improvement.I’d suggest taking that jackfruit tacos out of the menu and work on making Turkish coffee more authentically (use smaller pots and get the coffee to have a creamy light surface before serving)

Came across this coffee house by chance and right on time as I was in dire need of a coffee. I was greeted by the 2 friendly staff members and my order was taken promptly. I ordered 2 americanos with steamed oat milk and I was blown away by the quality and the flavor! Easily one of the best Ive had in Austin. Great decor and very casual comfortable atmosphere and a phenomenal product makes this one of the very best Ive experienced! Thanks again guys!

This was my first time visiting and I called in a pickup order. The breakfast sandwich (love that they have plant-based proteins) was so delicious as were the croissants. Very pleased and will definitely be going back. Glad this place is in the neighborhood.

Owner was welcoming and friendly. The place is quiet, nice and clean. The gyro sandwich that I had was lacking of seasoning and flavor, not what I expected based on previous gyro experiences.

This is a nice little place. The menu is what you would expect from a Café, although they took to long with the food taking into consideration that they were only 2 sandwiches.Also, we order 2 Chai Latte but the flavors were not consistent.In general I would go back but there are definitely areas of opportunity.

Passable local coffee shop. However, I was a bit chagrined that the barista did not seem to understand what a large cup of your darkest roast with 1/2 and 1/2 is. I had to order by THEIR name, brewed black coffee, then ask for cream to be added after it had been poured for her to understand what I wanted. A peaceful setting on I35 access road at Onion Creek Parkway with outdoor seating. A bit pricy but more laid back and good pastry selection.

Coffee was alright. They dont have regular milk. Kinda weird for a coffee shop.

I love, love, love this coffeehouse. It is a charming and relaxing place to visit. The service is wonderful and the tea is superb. They have some unique items on the menu I look forward to trying, including a salmon panini.

If I could give this 0/5 stars, I would. I ordered a vanilla latte, which was straight up sugar milk. My fiance ordered an iced americano. It was burnt, and he threw it away because it was so terrible. We also ordered a muffin and croissant and asked for them to be heated up, which neither were. The blueberry muffin was literally a muffin you could buy from the gas station. On top of this, we waited 20 minutes for our food and drinks- terrible service because they were understaffed. I was trying to be understanding because they only had 2 people working, but when you pay $15 for coffee and some pastries, you expect it to at least be edible. An absolute waste of money and will not go here again.

The smoked salmon panini was so so good that my sister sat outside in the car and ate it! They were super friendly and personable. We will definitely be back!

This is a great little shop. I’ve been in twice now and my drinks were equally delicious. Last time my son and I stopped in for some food as well and they did not disappoint - the chocolate muffin my son had was hands down the best one I’ve ever tried! Staff is friendly and the cafe is a nice little spot to get some work done or meet up with friends. Will definitely be back again!

Great customer service and amazing food

I like this place but its a little too pricey, in my opinion. I love the espresso shakes but the small and large both only come with 1 shot of espresso and the drink is almost $6.00 so adding extra shots to it ($1.00 per shot) makes it add up quickly! I wish the prices were a little more reasonable as I would be here way more often.I just left this place, spent $30 to get 2 drinks and 1 sandwich meal to SHARE. Way too much for a couple drinks and quick bite. I could eat a full meal at any restaurant for that price (and get TWO meals). Kind of frustrating.The service is impeccable thoughsw, very nice staff and owners. I wish they would reevaluate their prices because theyre a little absurd.

This place is awesome. If you want great coffee, tea and food with a European style, this is a great option. The owners are fantastic and the service is amazing. They provide table service and a very relaxed atmosphere. This is a great place to sit and work for a while or meet for a friend over lunch and they are perfectly situated on the I-35 frontage for easy access during rush hour.

The coffee here is AMAZING! I stop by usually once a week. Prices are a little high, but its worth it and so much better than Starbucks.

Amazing coffee beans! My boyfriend and I have tried several coffee beans from local roasters and found this one to be the best!I have not tried the food or drinks on the menu but found myself very excited over the espresso milkshake on board. I can’t wait to try it!

Great atmosphere! It was very relaxing and calm. The perfect place to sit and have a cup of coffee and have a bite to eat. We had the hot chocolate and mocha latte. They were delicious and made with care. For breakfast, we had the Opera Taco. The chicken sausage and sauce were amazing! We also had the buttered croissant. It was soft, fluffy, and flaky. Absolutely perfect. Lastly, we had a blueberry bagel. It was toasted just right and spread with cream cheese. We will definitely be coming back soon! You guys were great!

If you like true French style food, this place does it perfect. Aliyah & Stefanie can make you the meanest/richest espresso-based drink you’ll ever know. I like the one that is half espresso and half steamed milk. Ask Aliyah to make you a Russian potato... The atmosphere is quiet & off the strip and you don’t come out stinking like Starbucks for 3 days.

I decided I wanted to stop in here while roadtripping back up to Fort Worth and Im so glad I did. Its a quaint but beautiful little cafe that is predominantly purple (conveniently my favorite color) and I ordered a lavender latte. Its delicious and exactly what I wanted! I will definitely be stopping here again when Im in the area!

Wait time for the food was about 20 minutes. I ordered a matcha latte, two egg and cheese tacos and an egg and cheese croissant. The latte was fine. One of my tacos was fridge cold. They were just store bought tortillas, microwaved, with egg and a slice of cheese. We were told to wait for a check but after 20 minutes of waiting, we noticed other customers who arrived after us paying at the counter.I would understand under different circumstances but we were the only people there at first and yet we spent 40 minutes waiting for service.

Really top notch service, excellent coffee, bagels, breakfast, baked goods and treats. Its not a large space and its not much for views, but is quite and very efficiently run so even at its busiest has never felt too crowded. Serves both traditional and syrupy coffees. Fory money, best latte in town.

Today my fiance and I finally stopped in at the little coffeehouse by our apartments and our visit to the Opera Cafe was pure bliss. I ordered the Chocolate Mint Truffle tea and he ordered the Marrakesh Mint tea, and we shared a slice of the Russian Honey Cake. We were expecting just one cup of tea each as you would normally find in most Americanized coffee shops around Austin. To our delight we were presented with a pot each of our selected teas, each with a matching cup, saucer and spoon. The cake also came out beautifully displayed on a matching serving plate and garnished in a lovely manner. The tea tasted amazing and I have to say that the cake was so delicious that I would rank it in the top two favorite cakes of all time! Every single bite was pure heaven and we considered buying the whole cake! The owner was extremely nice and very pleasant to chat with. I highly encourage everyone to support such a uniquely quiet spot for anything from breakfast to just a quick cup of espresso . I personally will save this spot for future dates with my sweetheart, it was the perfect experience for a romantic after dinner dessert.

Such a cute little cafe and conveniently located. Food is mediocre. Was really disappointed when ordering a toasted bagel it did not include butter or jam. Don’t open a business if you can’t afford to give your customers good service.

Opera is a really sweet, comfortable coffeehouse with drinks, great tea, lunch, and pastries. Its easy too access from I-35. Though small, there is always lots of seating and best of all their chai latte is not too sweet!

Quiet little shop! I came in to do some work, and while small, it was very clean and nice. Everyone, even the customers, were warm and friendly. The only issue was that the internet strength was not strong enough to support all of the platforms I have to run, so I had to leave, unfortunately. I plan to return when my work does not involve such heavy internet usage, but because of this, I had to resolve to visit a larger coffee chain down the street.

This is a great neighborhood coffee shop, and so much more. The owners get to know you, your order, and interact with everyone as they enter. They cater to all customers as if you are the only one there, and they care so much for the community as a whole. The location is perfect with MORE than enough parking, and they make your drink perfect EVERY time!!!!!!!

Would come in on Thursdays once in awhile. Sat down and got enthralled with my reading at the table and didnt pay right away for my cup of cocoa at the counter. I assumed the lady that served my cocoa at my table would remind me the cost so that I would pay right away before leaving (dear God, my fault!). Sat there reading for a full 20 minutes! The two that worked there said nothing to me while I sat there! I started walking towards the door and the guy says to me, you didnt pay. I right away said, why didnt you say something. He laughs back and says, we just did! As if I should be embarrassed! I spoke up to embarrass them back with my explanation and OF COURSE to want to pay. I left no tip being as it was SO hard for them to say the amount to me when they served my cup of cocoa at the table when it was ready!!!!!

I got a coconut latte and it was one of the best coffees I have had.
