I am very picky about donuts and would have to say that thus far this place has THE best in Austin. More trendy places have crazy toppings but the donut base is terrible. Here its no frills, basic toppings but the donuts are FANTASTIC-- glazed donut was tender, chewy, and not too covered with sugar glaze. Good size too. At 99cents each, probably the best deal in town.

Easily the best/most authentic kolaches & donuts in Austin. Houston is loaded with places like these- unfortunately coming to Austin I realized that a solid donut shop was hard to find. Combos jalapeño sausage and cheese kolaches are a refuge for a weary traveler.

Theyre arguably the best kolaches in town. Id be going there even if they werent in walking distance.

Wow this was delicious! We got the blueberry donut, old fashioned with vanilla frosting and sprinkles, bearclaw, apple fritter and Bavarian cream donut - every single one was divine. Even the boudin kolache and sausage cheese croissant were great. There were still a lot of selection when we arrived an hour before closing!

I love the donuts here. They are extremely soft and fresh. The croissant sandwich was also really great. I do not prefer the sausage kolaches because it was too salty. But overall a great experience.

My favorite place in Austin for donuts. They are consistently delicious! These are the donuts of your childhood. Everything is great, but my favorite is the chocolate cake donut. The eclair is a close second. Service is always outstanding and its very clean inside. They have serious Covid19 protections in place now, which I really appreciate.

I am new to Austin, TX. My father and I were walking down the road when we saw this donut shop, so we decided to pop in. The woman that took our order was so sweet and nice, she asked us about our journey and seemed genuinely interested. To top it off, the donuts and breakfast sandwiches are delicious (and the prices are incredible)! I love seeing them bake in the back, everything tastes so light, fluffy, and fresh.I definitely recommend this place for newcomers! 💛

Sadly good for many people only, there is a $5.00 minum order for single items from $.79 doughnuts to $1.49 kolaches😭. 01/05/21 update, I bought a lot of doughnuts and had two of them the apple fritter and strawberry glaze. The apple fritter was better than most because it was crispy but had small and very few apples, which where flavorful. The strawberry glaze had no strawberry flavor and strawberries and cream look of the glaze was not delicious despite its appearance.

Donuts are fresh and really really delicious, and the service is friendly. So glad to have this place in the neighborhood.

Best kolaches I have had in town.

I don’t need a fancy donut place, no voodoo, no gordoughs, literally this place is the bomb. I don’t eat donuts a lot, a couple times a year, mostly when I’m going through a period of depression or I’m hungover. BUT WHEN I DO, I go to COMBO DONUTS. They are incredible!!!!!

Absolutely recommend this place. The kolaches are perfect (hard to do) and the donuts are delicious. The glazed ones especially, which remain pillowy and fluffy the whole time you’re eating them.

Super friendly staff. The kolache and croissant bread was light and very fresh. The eclair and apple fritter were delicious. The kolaches are sausage (hot dog) with optional cheese and jalapeno, so not much variety. Still worth checking out for a change from breakfast tacos. ;)

I like it here, great food & service. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. Prices that wont shock you. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.

Great donuts and the owners are so sweet! She always has a smile on her face and asks hows your day going. The plain glazed are so light and pillowy! I stop in here at least once a week to get donuts for my staff and they are always gone in an instant when I get in!

I only had a credit card with me and they require a $5 minimum purchase so I asked if I could try one of the donut holes (there were LOTS). The woman behind the counter said, No, we sell those. So I left. Ill never go back. Extremely poor customer service.
