Plenty of staff available to help when I was there. This store was packed for a Thursday afternoon, but when is Apple Store ever not crowded? Only bummer is that you have to walk through a shopping mall to get to the store.

Pretty cool mall sucked it was filled with cars for a formula race going on that weekend and they used there parking lot to shuttle over. Made it hard to find parking for shoppers.

Dillards was very well organized. The mask was clean and the staff was nice. The bathrooms near the food court need help. No toilet paper. Only 1 soap dispenser. And the hand dryer didnt work. They were unattended, a nice way of saying they were nasty.

Unlike most of the other reviews on here, I had a phenomenal experience. I was given a specific appointment time which was honored on time and it was my first day on vacation. My battery on my iPhone 11 had swollen to the point where the phone was actually falling apart and not holding a charge anymore. There was no way I could be without a phone for six days on vacation. The battery was going to cost me $69, which was fine, but the rep that I dealt with decided that since the phone was falling apart, that I should be given a replacement at no charge. This was such a pleasant surprise. I paid nothing out of pocket, and keep in mind I do not have insurance or a warranty. The fact they gave me a new phone because they felt that it was a better business practice to do so really impressed me. Customer service like this is why I have stayed with Apple for almost 10 years.

Matthew and Lisa really turned around a really frustrating situation. I had been trying to resolve an infinite reboot issue with the new iPhone 13 for 2 days, finally gave up and made a genius appointment. To say I was begrudgingly irritated is an understatement. It’s a brand new phone, it should really not have any software issues. That being said i’m not the type to take it out on people so I just calmly waited for my turn, and had given up on this phone from the get go. I went from regretting every decision I made to get this phone, to laughing with Matthew about being reliant on maps to get to destination. Outside from the really positive attitude from every team member I encountered, he went above and beyond to ensure I had a reliable solution. I could see Lisa was really hands on on the floor as well. So yeah, 10/10 recommend the arboretum apple location.

Apple Barton Creek gave me two replacement phones in a row with hardware failures and flagged ME. Ive spent 5.5 hours at the apple store and counting - still waiting for my temporary phone an iPhone 7 as a loaner for my XS. Most of the people that Ive interacted with have been nice but apologies only gets so far. Hours Ive spent now equate to a whole work day, and Im not done. Each time ive had to reset my phone its an hours long process, hour round trip drive to the store.This is not great incentive to stick with Apple. The reason to work with Apple is to have reliable products and excellent customer service. Not to get flagged when they mess up and waste several days trying to get it fixed just to be treated like a criminal when they make the mistakes. I need more than just sorry at this point.UPDATE: Back home now and the loaner phone does not work. It now will not connect to cellular. After three trips to the AT&T store, they insist that it is a phone issue and I must go back to apple. Its incredible to me that they took away a working phone to give me three separate broken phones.

Purchased Apple care +.Dropped my phone cracked the screen and the housing is damage, they are refusing to exchange my phone even with Apple care +.This is the first time I used apple care and the experience was terrible, I felt like I was begging to get a service I already paid for to protect my phone.I talked to the manager Dan and he refused to help me.I do not recommend Apple care +, they sale it to you making promises that they are not willing to honor.Would like be contacted by upper management to discuss the situation and get my device swapped under the Apple care + agreement.

The first thing the guy who was assigned to me said was I should just go home and call service and let them walk me through the process...uh no...that is why I made an appointment, He then told me it would take 2 or 3 hours for my phone to be backed up and then a while to update my new phone. Lucky for me Brendan (not sure of spelling) handed me over to another guy. The entire process was about 30 minutes. Ricky was pleasant and helpful. I give Brendan a 1 and Ricky a 5.

Terrible customer service. Made no effort to help me on just a simple transaction. If the computer said not to help us the genius would not help us at all. Basically shoved to the side and made to feel like less of a person. Even though he was not helping anyone and continued not to help anyone for at least 10 minutes after he said he would not help me. If there was even an ounce of customer service I would not be leaving a review but there was no effort made

So unprofessional, for some reason they are never able to complete sim changes in store, and refer a lot of the issues that are apple to related like icloud to the carrier. Why even bother going to the store if I will be out fast, but without service. I don’t recommend, this store needs to change its culture to actually help customers, and not pass the problems to other unrelated store.

Purchased a Mac online and went here to pick it up. I followed the email instructions and downloaded the QR code to my Apple wallet. According to the email from Apple once I check in with the QR code the item will be brought to me. Once checked in you stand in a line in the middle of the mall waiting to enter the store. There’s a blue line and a red line. As you move up the line your temperature is checked. You’re QR code is scanned a 2nd time. After 25 minutes of standing in line an Apple employee asked if I just needed to pick up the Mac or needed a consultation also. I explained to her the email from Apple states pickup only and if I needed consultation I would have to make an appointment. Within minutes I had my Mac and was on my way. It took 3 QR code scans, 2 ID checks and 30 minutes. Obviously there is a miscommunication with the process of online orders and pickup.

They wont let you in the store without a mask because they claim we care about your safety but at the same time when your iphone 12 explodes because the battery was defective and its literally a safety hazard they will NOT help you. The manager told me he wouldnt allow the device to be replaced under warranty or even repaired because the battery was leaking. He also said he would be taking my iphone and would keep it for two weeks for Apple to investigate. He said I would be without a phone for the duration and that I wouldnt get my phone back so Id have to buy a refurbished one for $599. So much for We care about your safety all they want is your money, they dont care about you and they wont back their products warranty. NO MORE APPLE PRODUCTS AGAIN!

Update: New very very large scree, I wish I can watch movies or a game on it.Most employees that I interacted with are coolOne of them even explained to me details of the details of the Apple Watch and he was not bored of my questionsThe place in general is cool and as expectedThe 1 star down is because of the following1) light is not good at all, didn’t feel the same as other locations, it felt weird and uncomfortable2) the floor is very very very dirty, and that’s not Apple store standard that I am used toService was as expected and it was faster than in other stores.I tried to attend a class but didn’t workWhen I do so I will review it

Very relaxing! Nature oriented. Deer came up to the house! Rented a pontoon at liquid Grilled. We ate there to and it was a 5 star grill with great prices. Its right on the lake too!!! Big thing is to feed the fish. You have to go to see what I am texting about! Austin is 1 hour away so you can still have city access.

All I wanted was my phone to be fixed. One of the employees, Leo, told me my photos would transfer, as we did an iCloud backup right then and there in the store. I then spent nearly $500 on a replacement phone, and my photos didn’t transfer. They basically said tough luck, cause Leo didn’t wait for the transfer to complete before erasing my entire iPhone (and 2000 photos) And the cherry on top is that I did get my money back, but only cause I refunded my new iPhone and took back my broken one :) So I went into apple, lost all my photos, and still have a broken phone. Thanks guys!

Great sore, always helpful. Always packed but, not going to take a star for that. I was expecting it. 4 hour wait, make sure you sign up for an appointment online, it will save you time. Otherwise, you can do what I did, which was, go into the store sign up for an appointment and have them give you an idea of when to come back. They will take your phone number and text you when they are close to you being next. If you have younger kids ask them about the robotics that they can play with, might save you from them breaking something.

Ahhhh...when u spend 1000 dollars on a phone and the charger it comes with doesnt connect to ANY of your other products and doesnt work with any of the chargers you have in your home. How about providing the actually adapter instead of giving you a cord that connects with nothing. Unbelievable. Congratulations, youve sold me your last apple product.

You make an apt for a time. But that is just an appointment to start standing at the back of the line behind the walk ups.I’m disabled and so I made an appointment. They made me stand in line till I was in to much pain to stand and had to sit on the mall floor outside the store. Then still nothing. Then my fiancé went and asked for a chair. They brought one eventually.Visiting the Apple store was a demeaning experience.It really sucked

My 67yo mom came from out of state and needed to get a replacement battery for her phone. When they gave her a replacement phone instead, it was wiped of all the info (of course). All good and fine since she had a backup in the cloud. Now here’s the issue... the person at the Genius Bar definitely sent her on her way suggesting she “restore her phone at the benches out in front where there’s WiFi” without walking her through the process of getting her backup on the new phone. So my mom’s been literally lost in Austin without contacts, apps, anything for 5+ hours. Incredibly disappointed and infuriated with this lack of support. My advice: Find another Apple store if you want 100% of the help you came to receive.

I have never been so disappointed with an Apple store or service as i was this morning, (and I have been a customer for over 10 years.) Today as my phone decide to stop working, and was, flashing the Apple logo on and off. This happened for about an hours. Since I have never experienced this before i decided it would be best to take it to the store. The store was still closed when I arrived so I waited patiently in the designated area. A very friendly security guard (the only pleasant part of this experience) asked what I was there for. I quickly explained the situation and he said he would speak to the manager to see what they could do. He. comes back and a basically tells me there is nothing they can do because they are booked for the day. I explained that I did not have access to a landline of any other cellular device to contact apple support, again i was told there is nothing we can do, we are at capacity. Now, i worked retail and understand that at times you are very busy, but i would have at least liked some help booking an appointment for later that day. There is room for improvement when handling situations like this. I am still without a working phone and because apple decided to not have USB on their new laptops, i cannot restart my phone using my computer. Very disappointed with overall experience.

OK I had something REALLY WEIRD happen in the store. So much so that the manager said it hadn’t happened in his *seven* years. We had set our Apple bag down for about 15 seconds and it disappeared. Estefan, the manager, immediately went to the security camera video feed tapes and found the moment when the person walked away with the product. He THEN found someone who knew that person who walked off but unfortunately the bag swiper didn’t return the goods. IMO this shows the level of leadership, creativity, innovation and customer excellence that this dude has. I bought a new ipad mini and im having to take it back the next day because genius Leo gave me an ipad with a slightly damaged box, i didnt notice the damage on the box but basically the ipad was crushed and has two small red marks on the screen. Im very upset that i have to come back and wait in line and spend another hour of my time setting up another ipad on my account please re train leo to properly inspect the boxes before bringing them out to a customer. Im seriously considering just returning for money back to get an android tablet. It just seems easier, let me know what you think apple store.... should i take my business elsewhere or will you train your employee named Leo

We were scheduled an appointment on 02/18/2021 at the Genius Bar for today 02/20/2021. My wife drove 1.5 hours from San Antonio after receiving an email this morning at 8:50 am confirming this appointment. She arrived to find the store closed. We received no notification from Apple about this closing or the cancellation of our appointment.We spent 3 hours texting and talking to help find a solution to our broken lap top.I am hoping to hear something back as to how they plan to help.

The Apple Store in Barton Creek mall in Austin is most of the time busy. The staff there are fairly helpful and it will be a hit and miss to run into an expert with full product knowledge. Be there early as soon as the store opens to beat the crowd.

I normally find any occasion to visit the Apple Store a stressful event - especially in their location at the Domain. But when my laptop spazzed out after a software update and got stuck in recovery mode for 12+ hours and I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning trying every solution known to the internet to no avail, Apple Barton Creek was the most wonderful lifesaver! I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get a same-day Genius Bar reservation, looking into it around 9 am and scheduling for 11:45 am! (On 4/7/21.)I was in a pessimistic mood, fully believing that this was the end for my almost-a-decade-old MacBook and that this would turn into a costly day. Immediately upon arrival, though, associate Geoffreys positivity was so infectious that I couldnt not smile! Geoffrey greeted me with the friendliest attitude possible, got me checked in to my reservation, and ushered me through temperature checks and hand sanitizing while I waited and nearly a week later, I am still so struck by his impact!Another associate noted a few more details about my Macs situation and within 3 minutes or so, Brandon the Mac specialist arrived, introduced himself, and escorted me into the store to our socially distanced work area. Not only was I impressed by the generous space left between us by the tables where we sat, but also by the provision of hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes readily available (and used) for devices! Brandon himself was so reassuring that my laptop would make it, walked me through all of the steps he took, gave me his recommendations and listened thoughtfully to my counterproposals, and we moved forward accordingly. Ultimately I ended up checking my laptop in for repair, leaving the store, and returning to pick it up in pristine condition within 2 hours. Back to Brandon, though, I want to express how much I appreciated his expertise, his authentic listening, and his pleasant conversation. Above all else, as a young woman with little tech fluency, I most appreciate how Brandon was able to explain every aspect of the process and the what-ifs in earnest, without condescension or man-splaining.What started as a routine evening back-up and update gone horribly wrong and manifested into a sleepless night of frustration and sour morning of negativity was transformed by both Geoffrey and Brandon at the Barton Creek Apple Store. Management: take note, as these are two shining stars on your staff! Geoffreys approach customer care and Brandons well-imparted expertise are invaluable and should be acknowledged as such! Thank you both for turning that terrible, horrible, no good, very bad morning into such a positive day with your kindness and repair of my baby!

Apple has turned into a joke. I make an appointment wait a few weeks to come in first appointment they have walk up 15 minutes before my time. They greet you oh can I check you in sure. Oh I can’t check you in your welcome to wait across the hall tell closet to your time. And then what I stand across the hall then I’m a minute late and I don’t get signed in. I have no ideal why they can’t say oh great your check in when your time is up will call you. I don’t want to go before my scheduled time but I think it’s ridiculous they can’t check you in a few minutes early. So I’m not standing there taping my foot waiting.

This store is an absolute joke. Went in last week for a Genius Bar appointment for a battery replacement. I was still under an active AppleCare+ so it should have been free. They wanted to charge me $69 + tax regardless of my AppleCare+ being active.Spoke to someone on Saturday and they said I shouldn’t have been told that there would be a fee because I still had active AppleCare. And that it would be free because I opened the case while still covered.Now I’m being told that I will have to pay because I’m lapsed and can’t make my appointment today, needing to reschedule due to work.This could have been avoided if my battery was replaced when I originally came in to have it taken care of but the employee was more interested in trying to sell me a new phone. I have a iPhone XS that is still in nearly perfect working order.Never had this issue at any other Apple store I’ve been to for any Apple products I own.

I first tried to get into Apple bc my AirPods stopped working the moment I got a new iPhone, but they had no humans answering phones at this store, just AI (which wasn’t helpful). The only option I had was to order new headphones which I paid for and also had to pay for a delivery fee. They gave me a window for arrival and said the driver was unable to reach me for delivery. I canceled my plans to sit here waiting for the delivery. No one reached out, not a call, text etc. the driver made zero attempt. Of course this store doesn’t have humans answering the phone, but they are willing to text. The person I texted with chatted on about how they’re sorry but they have no way of reaching drivers so the order will be returned and perhaps I should reorder and can get a delivery tomorrow. I explained my dissatisfaction with this and the person merely offered an apology. I asked how they would rectify this. At minimum you’d think they’d have them resent and the delivery fee waived, but I received none of that. This store is always slow, disorganized and unwilling to improve. Maybe if you stop having kids manage your stores and provide legitimate customer care then Apple will actually earn customers the right way.
