This review is way overdue. My company (Smarter Homes) has worked with Norma and her team at Austintatious for 10 years now. They have the best selection in town and know how to dial in a budget to fit the needs of almost any client.We are currently working with them on a solution for a set of windows behind a Living room couch. Without her help, glare would make it impossible to enjoy a movie in this room.

I was extremely pleased with my experience with Austintatious. I visited the store several times to consider my options for a covering for my front door. They were very helpful and patient as I considered my options and their showroom let me actually see the products I was considering. They were all professional, knowledgeable, and considered my situation like it was their own. I received top notch customer service from beginning thru installation and would definitely return when I need another window covering.

New to the area so was a walk in customer. In the showroom I was greeted immediately and got an in-home consult scheduled. The consultation went great; Lacey was very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions for colors etc. Then the installation was quick, and he cleaned everything up (he even brought a hand vac). Will definitely use them again, and I highly recommend their services.

Austintatious went WAY over and ABOVE any expectations I ever had of a shutter company.I ordered Maple Shutters for most of my house, and upon arrival, they were installed with the utmost care by the installers, Craig and Rex. I decided that after they were installed that 2 of the shutters needed to be changed, and they went over the call of duty to get them switched out to my liking. This involved actually having to re-order them from China at their own cost to satisfy me as a customer.I havent had a company be this focused on customer service in a long time, and even the installation itself was excellent! The caulk job around the shutters was immaculate that Rex did, and the leveling of the shutters to make sure they opened and closed perfectly was also excellently done by Craig.THANK YOU AGAIN FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

This might be an unconventional review, but we ordered plantation shutters for the majority of our new home 10 years ago and they are still in mint condition. Everything works perfectly and the paint looks as it did on day one. For an extra bathroom we ordered an inexpensive mini blind, and due to the abuse by my daughter over the years, a valance clip broke. I contacted Tracey to try to track down the type of clip and she replaced it at no cost. They are great and I would recommend Austintatious to anybody without reservation.

I purchased my blinds from Austintatious 9 years ago and recently just moved back into this property. They needed some repair and restringing - mainly my cats fault. They came and picked them up, repaired them quickly, put temporary coverings over my windows, had excellent communication and service - Kenny their installer is awesome - and I could not be happier! Thank you Austintatious Blinds for making my home gorgeous and back in working order again! I would 100% recommend them to anyone.

The roller blinds I bought for my entire house were fine, but the pull chains they gave me were flimsy plastic and kept breaking. They replaced 3 of the blinds chains with sturdy metal ones, but would not do the rest of the blinds I bought from them, even though they continued to break over and over again. I would give them a 4 for the look and quality of the product, but a 1 for standing behind what they sell.

The customer service experience from Austintatious Blinds and Shutters is terrible, they dont stand behind their warranties or promises, and their response after the sale is despicable. They installed what they claimed was the best window-tinting throughout our house, and they made a big deal about their warranty and guarantees to support their extremely high price. Once installed the tinting showed numerous bubbles and looked terrible. As they requested, we waited to see if the bubbles would eventually clear on their own... they did not. So my wife called them to request that they repair the defective window tinting, but they said that NORMA must approve and she will call back. Another week passed with no call from them. So then I called them, and they gave me the same lame excuse that there is only one person that can respond to my request (Norma), and she wasnt available, and they would give her the message again.Then 2 more weeks passed, and STILL no call from Norma or anyone from their company. So I called again... they gave me the same run around and claimed that they were really busy and Norma wouldnt be available for another 10 days... What! We have been given the run around for over a month, and now you are telling me that it will be another 10 days before I will even possible get a return phone call?!!Do NOT buy anything from this company. When you have problems with their poor quality products, they will give you the run around, and wont even return your calls. They dont stand by their products and their service is absolutely terrible!_____The response from Austintatious Blinds is NOT true or accurate. The owner was hostile and very unpleasant to deal with (terrible customer service attitude). Their response claims that we were satisfied with their work, which is not true either.... we were just sick of dealing with the owners hostile attitude and decided that they were incapable of meeting our expectations for doing quality work. The window tinting was sold to us with a warranty, and when the tinting was defective in less than year (well within the warranty period), they should have honored it and made it right without all the hassles. They completely ignored our calls for many weeks, they never made any attempt to calls us, and they made no effort to respond or help until I posted reviews on this site and other social media sites to warn customers about them. Its a shame that a business will not just step up and make it right without the need for social media postings, but thank goodness its available to warn other potential customers of bad customer service experiences.

I enjoyed working with Austintatious getting shutters throughout my home. Everyone from was wonderful and the shutters are perfect!

I bought my Hunter Douglas (HD) blinds in 2009 and the handles have been a problem (snapping in half). But Norma is always willing to help and send replacement handles. She said HD realized they had a faulty design and have since fixed the handles, which is great. When I am ready to buy new blinds, I will call Austintatious again.

We purchased window treatments for our entire newly constructed house in New Braunfels. We ordered and had installed the Hunter Douglas Architella Honeycomb shades, Norman Plantation Shutters, Hunter Douglas Designer Shade & Cassette along with a few faux wood blinds for the garage and laundry room. The team at Austinatious was very prompt and easy to work with. I especially appreciated their communication with my husband and I.

They have a large selection and very helpful/knowledgeable staff.

I worked with Tracey at Austintatious Blinds, and the service deteriorated as I continued to have problems with the Hunter Douglas shutters they sold. Multiple shutters were replaced, and the finish has continued to be problematic. Hunter Douglas support is horrific as well; they are blaming Austintatious and not willing to stand behind their product. I will never purchase Hunter Douglas products again, nor will I deal with Austintatious.
