Insanely high prices. My normal place delivers road base $325 for 18 yards. They couldn’t deliver until Monday, so I figured I would check out this place and see if I could get a delivery today.Was quoted nearly $600 for 15 yards of road base. WOW!Seems this place is just looking to prey on naive consumers. Sad business model.

Where to begin...I ordered two tons of Texas black gravel, 15 pieces of raw steel edging, and paid to get it delivered and dumped in my driveway.They didn’t get a single thing right.They called minutes before delivering and said they were out of raw steel but “black will work for you, right?” Well I had taken time off to do this landscaping myself so I had to take what they had even though I had purchased the edging two weeks beforehand.I wasn’t able to be there when they dumped but I explicitly told them to put it in my driveway. Instead they dumped it in my yard right where I was landscaping. I had to spend hours moving the rocks over to the driveway just to start my project.The worst thing...their Texas black gravel is a light grey color. It looks nothing like what was advertised at their office or on their site.So, I emailed them two weeks ago to see if they wanted to try and make it right. I wanted to give them a chance to fix their mistakes in some way. They ghosted me. No response. No call back. No email. Nothing. They wasted my time, my energy, and my money.Stay away from this company...they don’t deserve your business.

Good selection, helpful friendly staff, reasonable prices, convenient bulk delivery options.Took off one star because we visited at the height of the covid pandemic but the staff were not wearing face masks indoors and did not appear to enforce mask requirement for customers.

I loved these guys! From the guy in the office who took our order to the delivery guy who dropped off our 5 tons of decomposed granite.We went into their offices on Monday afternoon and had everything delivered to us on Tuesday lunchtime.Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

I went to the Daniel stone yard to look at the samples and then I ordered 1-3 river rock when they arrived a week later they were more like 3-7. The large rocks looked odd in my yard and I dont like the way it turned out. A guy stopped by to check the situation and told me that was normal and they never take back what was delivered. The rocks are definitely bigger than what I had seen in the gravel yard. I have been sifting the bigger rocks out one by one by hand and plan to buy some 1-2 to tune down a little bit. what a frustrating experience. My suggestion to you is trying to pick up the rocks by yourself if you can so you know what you actually get.

Juan was a huge help to me in my project. I initially went there to get names of someone to do my project and came away with the knowledge and supplies to knock it out myself and the colors matched!

This place promised my business Sod by Tuesday morning (today). I got a call yesterday that it was delayed until Wednesday (not ideal but doable) then I got another call a few hours later saying it wouldnt be here until Friday. I run a wedding venue and this very expensive sod is for our Wedding Lawn and we have a wedding this weekend. They did not care at all. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM IF YOU ARE UNDER A TIME CRUNCH. They have lost our business in perpetuity.

I have been using Daniel Stone for more than five years and they are my first source for rocks and other landscaping products.They have exceptional service, and competitive pricing. They ALWAYS call ahead of delivery, which is a miracle for us efficient contractors that rely on the correct order of deliveries and dont want to have workers waiting around.Most importantly, the office managers Wesley and Juan are very professional, prompt in returning your phone calls, honest if there is a rare mistake, knowledgeable about the best type of product for your project, and most importantly FRIENDLY. If I have a random question about a product they dont even carry they are happy to research and get back to you.Just to show you a simple outstanding above and beyond service example; One time I was there with my truck and had the wrong hitch ball and needed to replace it to the correct hitch to fit a special trailer. I didnt had any tools to do the job and would need to drive very far to get them from my shop. I asked Juan if he can help me, and within minutes, Juan was outside, with the correct tools, replaced my hitch ball and shook my hand with a smile. I couldnt believe it, in this day and age to have somebody offer a free useful service, with a great attitude like that.When I order something, I dont have to worry that the wrong product will get delivered or will get delivered on a different day that was agreed upon. It may sound like a simple feat, but dealing with a lot of various suppliers in town, they are the exception and not the rule.The yard workers are also very friendly and professional and will take the time to show you around for the specific product you require and help you load the materials.The drivers are also friendly, prompt, will call if there is a rare traffic delay, tidy and consciousness of the environment when unloading pallets and just a pleasure to deal with.The owner, Kelly is also very friendly and professional.Highly highly recommended rock yard. Yall ROCK! (pun intended).

Fast service and the variety of products is mind blowing. Not only polite, but quicker, cheaper, and much more professional than their competitors across the road. No matter how large or small your material needs are, they make it quick and easy to load, pay, and get on with your day.

I called at 11:15 am this morning and by 12:30pm my sand was dumped and Jerry was in his way out! Wow! A mere hour & 15 mins. It just doesnt get any better than that! Jerry was extremely helpful getting the sand exactly where I needed it by trimming a few tree limbs. Love when companies go the extra mile to make the experience great! Thank You Jerry!I will definitely recommend and use them again! ♥️

These folks are salt of the earth. I tragically lost my son a few months back and built a small memorial for him on my property. When they found out what the stone was for they would not charge me for it. I only order my stone and landscaping supplies from them.
