5 employees and I wondered the store for 15 minutes. Not a single one bothered to great me or ask if I was being helped. Ill go find my lighting elsewhere.

We are building a new home and came here to pick out our lights. One stop shop. So many great selections for the interior and exterior. This place is a hidden gem!

I was there at the store last month around July 10th, I discussed the chandeliers with this girl (i dont know her name so I call her Tattoo girl) and asked for the quotes.She asked for all my contact details but never got me back or emailed me the quotes and its been over a month.Very unprofessional.

Just love this place. They have lights and light bulbs for all your needs. Everything youll need inside and out. They are constantly updating their stock so every time you go in you find something new. The other great thing here is the service. Always with a smile and very knowledgeable. Ive used Lights Fantastic Pro for multiple projects in the past. They have always been helpful in finding the right light to fit the area.I recently decided to stop by the showroom to see what they had on the floor as their website seems to have issues working the chromium engine. I was expecting COVID precautions, but did not anticipate their showroom is now by appointment only. The website does not state this.When I called the the number for appointments, they said they could have one in a couple hours despite visually not seeing one person in the showroom.I get you want to be safe during these weird times, but at this point everyone who wants it, has access to the vaccine. The showroom should follow standard COVID protocols which are used for similar competitors and not rely on an appointment.At the very least update your website with this limitation.

Someone said they have light bulbs? That is not what they told me when I visited yesterday - lights for sale but not standalone bulbs.

Zach is fantastic! Seriously though, best customer service. Gave me time to shop. Then answered my 1002 questions. searched his inventory for several lights and put in a special order for me. Showed me sample finishes of fixtures, then showed why led lights can be hung right side up or upside down. explained placement of lighting and how glares can happen. This guy is who you want to go to with any of your lighting questions, he’s super knowledgeable and straightforward !

They have a big selection but a little overpriced. I able to order what I wanted off of Amazon. But if you want really unique lighting, this place would be wonderful!! They did have some beautiful arrangements and catered to deep pockets!

This place is a treasure trove for interior designers. The artistry of the lighting designs is worthy of a visit even if you dont buy anything. Consider the place as a museum.In addition, the store is a resource for people seeking to maintain their present lighting choices. I took in an old table lamp and a floor lamp. A young man there made certain both worked before sending me on my way with two pieces I had previously considered as irretrievable. Thanks!

I actually visited this store, on my way home after a very hectic flight. I was replacing all interior and exterior lighting on my home, and had heard from a friend that they had beautiful fixtures here. That may be so, but I wouldnt recommend that you go here on your own, unaccompanied by either your builder, renovations or by your interior designer. They do not take you seriously if you just walk in the door and try to ask for assistance with specific lights. Oh, you can wander around, but you wont get any help, and youll probably be ignored. I had to ask three times before someone half-heartededly tried to look up information on light fixtures that I already knew I wanted. I wont go into details, but it was a ridiculous experience. I decided to go to a different business for my new lighting, where they actually greeted clients. Terrible experience here. Two stars for the light fixtures. Zero on customer service.

We needed some new light fixtures for the entry way outside out house so we went to Lights Fantastic. They have a very comprehensive selection of lights on hand, and even more available for special order. After going through all the choices we decided to special order some, and the process went very smoothly. They told us the lights would be there in a week, and they arrived just as promised. Great service and fantastic selection.

Pros: selection of lights on the floor. The salespeople seemed attentive and helpful. In particular, Bradley was excellent to work with.Cons: most lights are not in stock. My order was botched by the salesperson who said she would follow up and didn’t. I had to hunt her down to get answers about the order. She initially estimated the lights would arrive in about a week but the expected delivery date ended up being nearly four weeks from the order date.

Some of the most beautiful, contemporary lighting I have ever seen. Many of them could be considered works of art. There were several pieces I would own however please note that many of these are priced like works of art, some of there are several thousand dollars.

We have purchased several light fixtures from Charles at Light s Fantastic and his service has been impeccable. He is very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with whether its a four-figure purchase or simply light bulbs. Technician Johnny is also fantastic.

Pretty good chance of getting what you need as long as you go in person. Shelly is great.

I absolutely love going into this place. It takes all my willpower to not buy everything in there.My wife and I got an incredible light for our bathroom and a couple other items. Everyone there was super helpful and even though our light was backordered from the manufacturer, the staff kept us up to date with the when it would arrive so we could finish our remodel.Highly recommended!

We remodel homes and have made several large purchases from Lights Fantastic and every time the follow up communication has been horrible. The sales people must be commission as once the sale is done, dont expect any follow up or return calls on orders. Since high end lighting stores arent abundant in Austin, we have endured the lack of customer service. We are easy to work with and not high maintenance, so if I write a complaint, it is valid.

Lights Fantastic is a good step (probably 2 steps) up from Home Depot or Lowes, but theres very little mind-blowing there. The staff is friendly and try to be helpful, but not the brightest (pun intended).The prices are a little more expensive than the same product online, but you get to see it in person, and if you use the coupons they have on their website, you may even come out a couple of $s ahead.All in all, if you know what you want and dont need lots of help, theyre a great place in Austin to look at light fixtures.

I wrote a brief review, the owner was kind enough to reach out asking me for more information. I think that’s pretty cool so I’m going to increase my stars from two to four.But I will explain here.I found the young, cute sales person to be a bit rude and very dismissive. I’m remodeling a ranch that I own. I don’t know a lot about lights and fans, my architect sent me over to make some choices and I really did need and want some help. I ended up looking around on my own and after texting about my disappointment with the architect, I left and later spent about $15,000 somewhere else.If I’m going to be shopping independently I can buy things online instead of leaving the house. I really did want some help. And I actually prefer to spend my money in brick and mortar stores because I like to talk to someone and get their guidance.I am a professional at work, I wear Versace and Valentino routinely to my office, but when I went to shop at this store I felt perhaps wasn’t dressed up enough for courtesy at this particular store. Or maybe I didn’t look like a serious shopper because I was there alone. Who knows. But I wasn’t there to browse, time is short for me and I was there to make my selections that day and move on.The shopping experience of going in casual clothes and being totally ignored reminded me of the shopping culture up in the Dallas Park cities. This is Austin.The show room was beautiful and well stocked, and the owner clearly cares about both the presentation and about responding to reviews, but the staff needs a lesson in etiquette and customer service. The Nordstrom ‘way’ is a good template for a brick and mortar.

Great selection of, mostly, very expensive light fixtures. I love wandering around the store looking at their amazing inventory. Don’t expect anyone to wait on you though. I’ve never seen such a fantastic group of grumpy, sour, disinterested salespeople. With a few exceptions, the only staff I’ve encountered that were at all friendly are the warehouse staff. Been shopping here for over 2 decades and bought plenty of merchandise, but the staff has always been this way. The staff seem to be annoyed that you’d ever dare ask for help.

They have so many bulbs in stock that most arent even out on the sales floor so always ask for help. Ive been buying lights and bulbs here for over ten years and have never had a bad experience with them.

Great place to find bulbs and light fixtures

Lights Fantastic as it is a great place for you to go and get ideas for your lighting needs. All of their lights are straight from China but their prices are Sky High. You might want to go and get some ideas and ultimately get your lights at Alibaba which is most likely where theyre getting it anyway.

I didnt think I would ever get so excited about a shop that sells lights, but they have some of the coolest, most innovative lights from ceiling fans to chandeliers, to floor lamps to desk lamps and everything in between. Its a feast for your eyes.

Was in the store for 15 minutes and no one approached me. I was looking at pendant lighting and apparently in the salespersons way and he didnt even say excuse me. Just expected me to move. People were sitting at desks and said nothing! Snobby salespeople! Little did they know I had plenty of money to spend. Prices were way too high also and selection was minimal. Wont step foot in there again!

They are the most disrespectful groups of individuals. I bought two fans, took one with me and was told they will call me when the second one comes in. A month later, I called myself to find out where the second fan was, only to be told repeatedly that I have apparently taken both fans. I think its a simple communication error and give the salesperson the benefit of doubt, only to be repeatedly told her that Im either confused or lying! Complete and utter disbelief and frustrated beyond belief. Do not go here!!
