Team was professional and totally met our expectations. They were on time with both appointments- estimate and installation. Solatubes were installed earlier than expected - they had a cancellation and reached out to us. We had some installed in the kitchen and bathroom - such a difference in lighting. Had a great experience working with SolarTex to install 2 tube skylights. Andy was super knowledgeable and helpful over the phone and Sean was terrific on the installation side. It took us a while to commit to the installation, but man are we glad we did. All in all the metal cost us less than we expected and its already made a huge difference: The day after it went on it was 90s outside and our house stayed in the mid 70s until 4pm with no A/C! The crew lead, Sean, was very professional and communicative, his crew was on time and also very professional. They arrived at 7am and by 5pm we had a shiny new roof and some additional requests fulfilled. All the old roofing materials were gone as if nothing had ever happened. We were floored. The installer was on time, prepped the site well to catch any mess and informative. When conditions in the attic forced a slight change in tube placement he gave me good info to make a decision on repositioning. This is our third solar tube installed by Solar Tex and we have always been happy with the process and the result.

Solar Tex has installed a total of 12 tubes in 2 of our homes! From pantries, master closets, garages, windowless bathrooms, windowless hallways, dark kitchens and so much more! They have brightened our day! Rory has installed both times he is so neat with a clean job site. I can never tell he even worked in a room. SolarTex was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I needed to replace an old solartube that had been leaking. The guys were able to give me a rough estimate on the phone, confirm upon inspection, share exactly what was wrong with current installation and and complete the job same day! I attended a product demonstration at a friends house in Sun City. His neighborhood has big, mature oak trees. The SolaTube lights were installed in shaded rooms in his house. The lighting effect was wonderful. I later found that several of my neighbors had the SolaTubes and attic fans. As a newcomer to Central Texas, I wanted to be prepared for the summer heat. I highly recommend SolarTex as a very responsive company with great follow-up and warranty.

Had a problem that I thought was a Solar Tex issue. Rory came out, checked it out, found out it involved another venting system device on my roof. Due to the rain he asked if he could seal it for me while I contacted the responsible parties. He didnt have to do that. Solar Tex went way above and beyond what was required. A first-class company for sure.

This is an exceptional company, with terrific customer service. They just replaced, under full 100% warranty, a failed solar attic fan that the previous owner of my home in Sun City Georgetown had installed by Solartex in early 2014. The previous owners left me no records of this installation, but Solartex looked up the work order from 2014 and told me they would replace it for free - - even though I wasnt the original owner. They followed up twice on the scheduled replacement which took place this afternoon, and the technician they sent was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional. Solartex has a great reputation here in Sun City, and I can see why. I highly recommend them.
