The staff were extremely helpful getting us the materials to re-fill our couch and chair. The first foam we used was a bit too hard so we went back to get something softer. They went above and beyond to help find a solution we were happy with. Now our couch and chair are a good as new for a tenth of the price as a new set!

This place doesn’t care and it shows. Employees are largely clueless and can’t answer any indepth questions about supply or standards. Their prices aren’t great. The cuts are almost always crooked and lack spill to compensate. We spent money on their top dollar product and they send us away with dirty sticky vinyl. Can not wait to find another supplier. These are just some of the problems with this place.

Ive bought two mattress toppers here, and every time Im impressed with how great these guys are. They dont take online orders or payment over the phone, but they wont steer you wrong, and their foam supplies are high quality. They have every kind of upholstery foam you could possibly need, and their selection of fabrics seems pretty great too (though Ive never been there for fabric).

These guys helped me choose replacement foam for our 20 year old leather sofa and loveseat! The advice was spot on, I wanted firmer foam, rep said would be to hard and he was right! The new foam freshened up the old sofa and now we don’t sink so deep!

We order from them twice a week. Our order is usually always correct. However, they dont communicate very well. For example, if we ask for 8 yards of material and they only have 7 yards, they dont bother to call and tell us. They just send the 7 yards. We order based on just what we need. We cant complete a job if we dont have enough material! We could easily order another color if they would just give us a call. So, be sure and check your invoice before you start a job. Otherwise, you just might be in the middle of doing your work and then realize you cant finish it because they failed to simply call you and say hey, we only have this amount.

Great upholstery supply. Ive been purchasing supplies form here for over 10 years. They are very knowledgeable & normally have everything in stock. They ship the items I ordered that day if I order by 2pm. Charles & Jim are the main guys I deal with. Great guys.

CCUS just finished replacing my sofa cushions foam inserts for Christmas.The prices are great and availabilty for pick up was spot on.This is the 2nd time doing business with them.I will not go anywhere else.Would recommend them to anyone.

My cat peed on all three cushions on my couch. This is the only spot in town where you can get replacements. I finally made the trip south and wasnt disappointed. I could have ordered the cushions I needed and they would have been shipped in a few days but for about $10 more they cut the foam from a sheet while I waited. I brought in one of the cushions I was replacing for measuring. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. The prices were reasonable and cushions fit perfectly! I strongly recommend their services?

Great facility with fantastic customer service. They consistently have what I need and never fail to help me when when I have no idea what Im talking about. They stock quite a few vinyl products and have some full leather hides.

I phoned Cap City to get some Top Gun fabric, as I have in the past, for making patches. The stuff is great! But, because they are a distance away from me (and I gave away my car, last year), I asked to have it shipped. These guys delivered in about an hour or two and charged almost nothing for delivery. Im quite happy with them and will call the next time I need any fabric.I also have my mind on a full-hide, which might be fun for decoration....Thanks, Cap City; yall are great!

We had the leather on the drivers seat replaced in my wifes Expedtion. Although it looked wonderful at first, within no time (months) the leather started to fall apart. Considering that the original leather lasted 5 years and this was not cheap, look elsewhere for a quality job!!!

This is an affordable, no frills gem of a place if you are looking for upholstery supplies. Very nice people.

Cuz Ive been going there for over 20 years and Ive always been treated right by these folks and theyre just not people that work there theyre my friends as well that Ive got to know over the years.

They had just what I needed at a very good price.

The guys at Capitol City are some of the nicest you will ever meet. When my husband wanted to start an upholstery shop almost 5 years ago, I knew nothing about it. They have patiently worked with me and shared their knowledge with me - never once looking down on me for my lack of knowledge or experience.Not only that, but we are a small part-time shop from out of town. Yet they treat my husband and I as if we are their biggest customers every time we walk in their door. One time, we had to wait a significant length of time for Jim to get back so he could make an exchange. My husband and I were getting alarmed because we needed to get back to Lockhart so he could come back to Austin for his job, and I needed to get to Bastrop for my daughters music lessons. Carlos, sensing our anxiety and understanding the situation, offered to take care of the exchange for us and then bring the correct product to Ray at work that evening - on his own time. Straight up customer service and integrity like that is hard to find these days. If I could nominate them for the Malcom Baldridge Award, I most definitely would.

Ill second R.D. on their service. I was looking for some foam to make a sleeping pad in the back of my cruiser. They got me a 4x8 sheet of 2 pink foam for about $60, had it in stock, allowed me to lay down on it in their warehouse, and offered to cut it to fit my wheel wells at no charge. A+++.
