Way too crowded, narrow aisles, dark. If youre claustrophobic, dont go there. Also the bread was hard as a rock. The caldo was delicious though!

This place has roaches I literally seen 3 of them while I was standing there about to order some food I decided to walk away where they have their bread there was about 4 flies in their flying and landing all over the bread that is disgusting these people need to clean this place up

If you do not speak Spanish, be prepared to be treated like you do not belong. The food is amazing but I was really offended by the way that the service was intended for Spanish speaking persons only.

Handmade tamales available. Good selection of fresh desserts and the kind in the wrapper. Speak English, but most are fluent Español. You can still find what you need the store is laid out in category.

I have been looking for some store that brings to Austin good quality foods, also fresh and of course at reasonable prices. Hacienda Meet Market does, In some way remain me to already disappeared Moreliana, but the big difference is that Hacienda Meet Market has its own bakery with good quality. Definitely a place to visit many times, good work.

This Is THE store to go to for amazing tamales. The sad part is that because the tamales are so delicious, they sell out fast. Waiting for new batches to be made can be a bit painful. However, when you arrive just as a new batch has been made... theyre really to die for. Also the bread selection (sweet and non sweet) is excellent. Very flavorful!

Small, one check out counter, two cash register, basic needs grocery store that caters mostly to making Mexican meals. They do have a REALLY GOOD meat market, and VERY good small produce section. Clean but crowded, and music is very loud. They also have a small Mexican deli section, where you can eat their prepared Mexican food.

I would have to say, if I could easily go up and down the aisles - I would rate this market with a 5 star but as a disabled person, to have the aisles full of boxes and ladders is very disconcerting. I was in there today and every aisle except for the one along the produce and the one along the meat market was blocked. every other time I have gone in, one or two were blocked but today - all of them were. I know the ADA has rules and regulations about how wide aisles are to be and I am considering reporting this issue.

One of the best Mexican markets I know... Your can find almost every Mexican food or candy there... But if your looking for American things this is not the place for you...😂

They dnt have smaller washers so u have no choice to use the big ones,seems like a set up to use the big ones and they have a small washer bt it looks like a big washer and it cost way too much to be in a low income area..

It is a Mexican grocery, but much of what can be found there, can be found also in the larger chains, like HEB or Walmart, so the long drive is hardly worth . Anyway, it is a Mexican grocery, so a LatinAmerican option us still missing in the region.

Love this place everything is easy to find have a lot of my childhood favorites I just wish they had quenepas thats what theyre called in Puerto Rico I guess in English theyre called Spanish Limes

I dropped by to get some tacos at their taqueria for lunch one time. There really wasnt a sign with a menu or anything besides breakfast items. I had to go ask the cashier for the list. I got bistek, pollo asado and chicharron tacos. While most of them were meh and forgettable, that braised chicharron was extremely delicious and amazing. Totally going back just for more bites of that. Their salsa for tacos was a medium spicy level and went well with all of them. Tacos come with chopped white onions and cilantro too.

If you are not hispanic, dont go in here. I stood there at the counter for 10 minutes with no one else in line at the taco stand and the lady behind it just stared at me with a blank look on her face, talking to a lady behind me that was sitting down eating. I had to finally ask if I could get some tacos and then she acted like she didnt want to help me so I just walked out. Racist place!
