Looking to get a home in the outskirts of the Austin area. Visited Clayton Homes and had a wonderful experience from Zack and rest of the crew. They were able to give me prices and show me what was available. I work late so Zack was able to accommodate me in the late afternoon. I really appreciate that because I don’t have time to take off during the day for an appointment like that. I’m still in the process of looking for a home I can afford with Clayton but I know i am in good hands! Thank again Zack for being such a great guide into my forever home!!

Horrible experience with ZACK!!Went to help my mom inspect her house before signing final papers as she requested if I can help for a second set of eyes. I went of course and met Colt the co tractor im assuming, he was great!! Good welcoming energy and ready to help with out push back. ZACK however is another story,his energy is not welcoming and the type that wants to get things done quickly and get out, that was my first impression. I mentioned it would be nice to see the roof of the house, give you this is a mobile 1 story. He mentioned he assured me all was good but I said I still wanted to check for my peace of mind and I quickly felt his hesitation and lack of willingness to do so. COLT mentioned he would check for us and I felt that was good enough as I felt trust with him. As we walked inside to view the rest of the house ZACK mentioned do you even know what to look for? Condescending as if I needed to be a contractor or that I would just be wasting his time... I mentioned, well the roof of course lol and missing shingles maybe?Either way, I kept calm as this was a happy day for my mom getting her new 🏡As we signed and left towards car I realized I forgot my stylus pen on the kitchen counter and went back inside only to fi d ZACK in the middle of telling Colt and then I said,do you know what to look for?? I quickly called him out on it and told him my feeling about him was right as I mentioned I did t get a good vibe from him. As a salesperson he should have higher standards and know it to talk behind someones back especially a client who is still right outside their own home!! Ill say if I would have met ZACK on day one, he would have not had my moms business. To Colt, thanks again YOU are professional 👏

So we started at Village Homes and things went from bad to worse with them. We canceled our contract and asked out lender AMCAP who else we could use as we had the loan we wanted. Its a land and construction loan we bought 10 Archers in Rockdale. They recommended Clayton. Man are we happy. Chris was great to work with and always responsive. We are in our new home and extremely happy. Thank you Chris and Clayton Homes.

The buying expeirence with my sales representative was great. The service department after immediate issue has been a nightmare. I moved in 05/01/2021 and already 3 times an issue with the A/C. The flooring had an issue in the master bathroom that was noted on the walk through. It took a few weeks to send someone out. He scheduled then no call no showed. I waited a couple more weeks. They came to fix and after ripping up the flooring there is not enough material. I am left without a functioning master bathroom and no one is calling back or responding.

Buyer BEWARE. Clayton homes is selling HVAC systems that cannot be serviced after you own your home. They only refer (1) service provider as a resource called Air Pro . If you call Air Pro they refuse to service ANY HVAC systems that the vents are on the ceiling versus the floor. Essentially, you will not have anyone to service your home if you are sold a system that that vents are on the ceiling, which are many. Unfortunately, the salesman of this Clayton Homes sales establishment didnt seem to really care if past clients of Clayton Homes are left without any choices to service their HVAC system in the middle of summer!

My Husband & I traded in our first home that was bought at this location and Adrian was our sales person & he was Great through the whole process & was very patient with me! We originally went to the Cedar creek location but they told us we were upside down on our trade in and couldn’t help us but the Austin location made it happen and we were able to get the home we wanted. Adrian pushed to help do stuff that no one has ever been able to do before. He made sure the transition between the old and new house was smooth and easy. They were able to make me priority to get moved into my new home as quick as possible. I definitely recommend Clayton Homes! go see Adrian!

My Husband & I just purchased the Jackson & we love it! Adrian was our sales person & he has been Great through the whole process & was very patient with me. We originally went to the New Braunfels location but they just couldnt get there on the price with our trade in but the Austin location made it happen and we were able to get the home we wanted.Also a big shout out to Tom & his crew for doing the trim work! This was our first time visiting a Clayton showroom office and Adrian was our guide. He listened to what we were looking for and patiently showed us several models, each time adjusting to our preferences and feedback. He even walked us over to Oakwood and showed us a couple of models there. My husband but and I appreciate his professionalism, politeness, and willingness to listen and show us what we wanted to see. We hope to work with Adrian in the future and highly recommend him and this office/location.

Great working with Zack to find my home

Sales person was great and informative. Overall experience was good. Did not care for the product but thats a personal opinion/preference. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for an upgraded trailer.

My husband and I are in the looking phase of finding our next home. We came in on a busy Saturday and Smitty was amazing. He was patient, and answered all of our questions. He was completely open and honest and put our needs first!

We recently bought a home from Clayton Homes (Breeze II) and have had a great experience. We worked with Jay Burke every step of the way and he took great care of us. The only issue we had was with our hot water heater tripping the breaker every time we turned it on. I called Jay and within a few hours we had a service tech out at our house fixing the issue.

We bought a home last year and we love our home. It is energy efficient and has so many wonderful upgrades that my site built homes never came with. Everyone that visits gives us compliments. This company bent over backwards to get us into this home and made any changes to the floor plan we desired. They were so attentive they called back quickly when the said they would. Our main sales person was PJ. he was amazing. We have recommended them to others and would definitely buy from them again. Thank you everyone at Clayton homes that made our home possible!

Everyone says Adrian is the best but that’s not true. He gave us the home in bad conditions and didn’t comply with the compromises we discussed. Everything was so bad from beginning to end, so if you go ask for someone else except Adrian because he doesn’t know how to negotiate. I had a very negative experience!

Manager PJ was a HUGE help!!! I came in because I needed help with advise about buying a home. Im a first time buyer, and PJ gave me all the best advise on taking the proper steps to finding a home that fits me. I definitely recommend coming here!!!

Our initial visit was pleasant looked at homes our sales person was Casey. But soon after we learned she did not return calls well all our information was not sent to lenders the numbers that were sent for us to qualify for werent even enough to buy a home in the first place which I have the letters stating this information . Oddly only 2 lenders gave us a pre-qual. Which were the 2 lenders she said were partnered in some way with them and they loved using them etc. Never once recieved a call from Claytons realtor to help find land. Did land research on our own . Couldnt find anything that would work with our budget /needs . So family gave us some land . Which changes the whole process . They have land home packages and then just the home . Well instead of geting our information to just the home buying lenders we were left with one lender to choose from. At this point Casey was never at work or didnt know the answers to our questions so we wanted to speak with the manager and bot was that ridiculous the man didnt want to hear our concerns he barely even let my husband speak he just kept saying the same thing over and over again so my husband just hung up . So called the next day and our file was moved to Jay who seemed to be on the ball ! We submitted paperwork and were waiting on some from CPA and IRS . He assured us he would keep in contact and help in any way he could the IRS paperwork wasnt right . It has now been almost 2 weeks sense we have spoken to our guy with the lender called emailed and no response. So I called Jay yesterday he listened to me and told me pretty much he couldnt do anything when I asked what else we could do and if he could get the lender to call us he rushed me off of the phone last words were someone had just walked in and he would call me back and no call back from him surprise surprise . So Ive put my earnest money down I have all paperwork submitted including IRS transcripts which were not asked for in writing by the lender . I have got my water done my electric done for my land aseptic is supposed to be in the loan with house... and I have not gotten any response or help its been a extremely poor customer service issue from day 2 I have credit I make the money I have my down payment and it just seems like they dont want to sell me a home . Or Im not a big enough fish for them . So no progress has been made besides the progress on our side with calls and emails and nothing back ! So at this point a 1 star is all I can offer

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They took their time to explain everything to us and didnt try to pressure us into anything.

We bought our home from Clayton homes of Austin in 2010. Within one month we had rain and quickly discovered we had a leak in the roof. Clayton homes sent jack of all trade repairmen who would play around on the roof but never fix the problem. Now we are outside of the one year warranty and they will do nothing to help. Clayton homes is under new management and they will not even return my calls. Here are the pictures of the overpriced homes damage. Please contact me before deciding to buy anything from Clayton homes in Austin and Ill let you walk through my home and see what they call quality.

My wife and i were Shopping for a new mobile home. Staff is so nice and helpful. We did see some guys stealing tires from the lot. I asked them if they talked to anyone in the office about taking tires and the taller of the 2 looked at me like he was going to hurt me and said mind your own business.The manager in the office said they come regularly to buy the axles and tires.5 stars goes to the clayton home employees.Just dont go looking at homes when u see people loading axles and tires.Just some food 4 thought

Clayton Homes are some the higher end homes you will find in Texas. All sales staff are knowledgeable and friendly. If you are looking for a home in Austin, you have to go see Clayton Homes.

Im a first time home buyer and Clayton homes was the only place that took me serious (Im very young) and actually took the time to explain to me the benefits of owning a home, how a mortgage works, and walked me through every step of the buying process. PJ was my salesman and the man did a wonderful job of taking care of me and my gf. I recommend Clayton homes to any home buyers on a budget and those who want to get a great deal.

Buying a home can be very stressful, but my salesman PJ was there every step of the way. PJ was very good about explaining the process and promptly answered all my questions (I had a lot of them). Even after I had been moved in for months, PJ was there to help me with some warranty repairs. In just a couple days the repair I needed was fixed with no hassle on my part. Id recommend clayton homes to anyone!

The worst place to go to. Nills my sales man lied out his ass. He could not help me insted told me the bank denied me. I called the bank and ask why they said I was aproved and they were wating for him to send in the right numbers for the home and they never did. I am so angry that since it wasent a quik sale they wanted nothing to do withme. they stink and are the worst sales people in the world. Even the manger was in the lie to. they dont even deserve a star.
