I drove all the way here to get the beyond meatball sandwich. The place had more people in there than I expected but got everything I needed in a timely manner. The place was clean and put together. This location also has a gas station. They had different choices of the beyond sandwich but only like 1 full vegan choice. You can also customize a sandwich as well. It was pretty good but had a tangy aftertaste from the marinara sauce. The price wasnt too bad either.

It is great! If you need food and drinks, Wawa has you covered.

Entrance to and exit from Route 1 could be smoother, road is uneven and could be potentially dangerous.

While standing at the kiosk ordering food one of the workers that’s working in the food area made a comment saying “why are people out” and the other person said “why are people still on the streets?” I think it’s very disrespectful for them to make those comments especially when there’s a lot of customers in the store shopping. If they are not happy working their shift at then the two shouldn’t be here working. Since they are asking why are people still out

Every time I go there with my partner after work to enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee two things happen either it’s not ready or it taste old there’s this guy who is so called manager always playing with his phone or making dumb remarks if I was the owner I would fired him on the spot I said what I said

I’ve been going to this store since they opened, never ever a bad experience, never seen any staff member not delivering a great service. The food is always great, the waiting time in line is pretty decent, and I think it’s very commendable how management is quick to jump in and help employees and customers during peak hours.I don’t typically buy gas there, but the few times I did, I found those who assisted me to be very courteous.

WaWa always has low-cost Gas and Diesel Fuel. Great food in a clean Deli-style atmosphere. Steve (MGR) was working hard to make sure all his food and services were running smoothly. Large portions of freshly made Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner sandwiches and sides made your way.... with or without computer ordering. Easy to I-287 and Costco Mall and Baseball.I have heard Wawa makes great sandwiches and this location has a full kitchen and is always busy but I have yet to try them. I love the soft pretzels and iced tea the best. I have to try the breakfast sandwiches too, which I heard are good. I dont live in the area, so thats why I havent tried other food yet. We dont have Wawa in Mass, where I live.

Anytime that I am in New Jersey I make it an absolute point of coming to wawa. I am from New York and unfortunately we do not have the absolute pleasure of having wawa which is very depressing honestly. Ive come to this specific wawa a bunch of times and I like the people who work here and how easy it is for me to get to and from. The place is clean and has enough parking where I have never not been able to go.

Service associate CONSUELO is a so mean. I wouldnt go to this wawa if shes working there. She doesnt know how to talk to the customers. General manager Craig should look into this matter and expel her.

This place was good when it first opened. Now every time I go to by a sub they are out of tomatoes. It is beginning to be the norm. They have good amount of products. Good coffee. I would give a good review if it wasnt for no tomatoes every time I go there.

The employees arent wearing their masks correctly nor the customers. I even saw 2 customers without a mask and nobody said anything to them at all.Id avoid this Wawa if youre high risk and actually care about your health.Its really not that hard to wear a mask.

Everytime I go, Dolores is extremely rude, and id like to think she was rude to everyone but a customer after proceeded with their transaction, and she was pleasant with them. Not sure what the issue is but its uncomfortable to go in there when she is there.

Gas costs the same, whether you pay by cash or credit.Inside the store you have full fledged sandwich shop with touchscreen kiosks to order from. Everyone inside are always so courteous. It has also ATM machines with no service charge.

I love WAWA!!!! The sandwiches the shakes, the smoothes made fresh to order. They have great food and gas. You can really eat here and get gas! Theyre more than just a convenience store. If you go regular you become family.

Pretty much your standard Wawa. The interior was very clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and service was relatively quick at the hoagie counter. The cheesesteak I ordered was delicious and I would happily order again. The prices are very competitive and dont hurt the wallet. There is plenty of space for parking and a good amount of stalls for gas so you dont have to wait for other cars to finish fueling up.

Wawa is to Jersey what a Bodega is to any of the boroughs. Ive visited twice now and the fast paced, packed parking lot, and long lines that move then stop cold are worth the trip. We saw the billboard for sizzlis @ 2 for $3.33 and had to stop. Not a fan of their bagel sizzlis but the crossiant, oh my. If you love a buttery, fresh, crisp crossiant with your choice of turkey sausage or bacon or ham and eggs or egg whites and cheese I need you to stop by in the morning. We loved them.

I Pulled up to Wawa In Avenel, New Jersey for gas at approximately 2:30-2:45pm. I waited about 5 minutes and no one came over. I proceeded to go to another pump where two employees were engaging in a conversation . I asked was there anyone available for help, because i was waiting about 5 minutes. The employee engaged in an argument with me, telling me I wasn’t waiting that long. I than began to explain maybe he didn’t see me because there was a truck blocking me. The employee continued to further engage in confrontation by telling me repeatly I wasn’t there. I stated if you and your co-worker weren’t engaging in a conversation maybe you would have seen me. The employee continued to call me a liar. I said, I am a customer, which he replied, customers aren’t always right. After going back and forth I asked for gas in which he replied, Not from him and proceeded to walk away. I went inside to the General manager and explained the situation. His initial reaction was to call the the gas attendant over the walkie to inform him to pump the gas instead of coming outside to descalate the situation. Once i told him I was no longer at the pump, he came outside and stated if he had to pump the gas himself he would, which should have been the initial reaction. As I drove to a pump he walked over to his gas attendant. The general manager came back and stated, the attendant sees where he was wrong and he apologizes on his behalf. I asked for the corporate number and the employee name which he did not give. He said he was “going to take care of it,” however I was not satisfied with that reponse. The manner in which I was treated was unprofessional and I will not be returning for future purchases of merchandise or Gas. I highly recommend avoiding this Wawa to avoid such a horrific experience and spend your money elsewhere.

Will never go here again..I bought 2 packs of Swedish fish for my girlfriend that was waiting in car and when I paid I used credit and the girl Barbara didnt ask if I wanted a receipt.of course when I got in car my girlfriend said I bought the wrong ones so for some she put them.back in a 7-11 bag and I didnt even notice and went back into the store to return them no later than 3minutes after i purchased them.so.i go up to the counter and tell barbara I want to exhange them a d she says nope sorry these are in a 711 bag so I said i was literally just here and i didnt even see any customers here after me and she says nope sorry. I go and grab the wawa bag and put the items back in it and go back to her and by now im fuming but Im still acting cordial with her.and she says ok do you have a receipt? I said no you didnt ask me if I wanted one when I payed with credit card I guess you got distracted when you were talking to your boyfriend (another employee she was flirting with while working) she said no sorry if you dont have a receipt your going to have to leave I said well call your manager and of course while calling him in with the walkie talkie she said it in the this cutomer is a jerk tone. But I told the manager what had happened and happily with no questions asked he gave me what I shouldve had long before that. No thanks Barbara

Truly enough the egg and sausage on a bagel as well as my caramel macchiato coffee. Disappointed they didnt properly secure the top on my coffee so a portion spilled in the car.

Never had a bad quesadilla from WaWa until today. I asked the girl to double toast it as I always do and she burned it. She had no expression or didnt even offer to remake it. I should of asked her to redo it but she looked pissed and I just got off work and just wanted to go home. This is the WaWa in Avenel route 1 north.

I come here often. I would love to give a 5 star review. The coffee is good. The food is good. However today the service was horrible. Not for me but for an older woman. She wanted a roll with butter but didn’t quite understand how to use the touch screen ordering. So she told the guy behind the counter and asked for help because it would take her too long. He did absolutely nothing to help her and was ready to let a paying customer leave. It would have taken him 30 seconds to help her out but instead spent a minute or two talking about her to another employee. 30 seconds to make sure an older woman could have breakfast. Sometimes people need a little extra help. I won’t mention the employee’s name but I hope he sees this. You never know whose day you could make better by helping someone in need regardless of how trivial it might seem. No matter what job you have you should do it with pride and to the best of your ability. Today you failed.

Was good when it first opened up friendly staff now it went down hill some of the staff are friendly and others are very nasty and rude the coffee urns are always empty during the rush hour the coffee bar is always a mess and the staff behind the counter ignore you when you try to tell them the coffee is out or they give nasty looks
