This store charged me $3.48 for a one page printout which I took myself, just used their computer & printer . On top of it this guy who was there behind the counter when I went there around 4:30 pm had the worst imaginable attitude, he is extremely rude to Indian customers, have experienced his attitude before, have also seen him treat Americans differently! Please don’t go to this store other than to drop off packages with labels - unless they start charging reasonable prices for services and employs normal people who has at least a vague idea what customer service is!

This guy should loose his franchise. They have the worst service and oh boy, the attitude is out of the world. They way I saw him treating other customers.The way they work is like they are doing a favor of opening store for you. The close shop for certain time in afternoon. I understand every employee needs a break to do their business or eat lunch but it just creates hassle for customers.Hope there was another store nearby, it would help me stop on immediate effect to come here.

I went to this store for notary public and the attendant provided rapid help in notarizing my documents and after it was done, he even help me courier my documents to India. This is one of the best ups store I ever visited.

On 3.22 I went in to get a copy of a document on my phone. I was told its all self service at a computer terminal..that I have to do it myself. I told the worker behind the counter I wasnt sure how to do that Im not computer savvy on how to do that. I proceeded to do the copy on my own and the copy came out too small a paper. I then asked the worker if he could please help because I didnt know what I was doing. He refused to help me.. and in front of others customers there he embarrassed me. What kind of place is this that refuses to take 2 minutes of there time and help a customer that is doing business in your store? He seem to not care at all and I left the store stating I cant believe you are refusing to help customers. Only concern came from another customer who said that would help me. I have my own business and no matter what good customer service is my number one priority. No matter how much money a client spends you should treat people equally. I felt like if I was of Indian decent the worker that day would have helped me. CUSTOMERS BE AWARE!! This place is horrible Think twice about going to this UPS store in the future.. horrible and the workers are rude!!

One of the worst if not worst customser sevice experiences ever. The mask mandate has been over since May 26 and the Indian guy behind the counter started yelling at me about a mask once I was at the counter. I kindly stated since I had a prepaid label I will leave my package an exit the store. He immediately began yelling no and refused to accept my package. Absolutely ridiculously! FYI went to the UPS store on New Brunswick Ave and dropped off my package without an issue, great customer service there.

This store has the worst customer service probably in NJ. The man is so rude and has a terrible attitude. Today I went to send a package and he had the audacity to refuse to help me only because I didnt wear a mask. THE MASK MANDATE IS OVER AND YOU CAN KEEP WEARING YOUR MASK FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE IF THAT IS YOUR DESIRE, BUT DO NOT FORCE YOUR CUSTOMERS TO WEAR IT IN ORDER TO BE HELPED! What an ARROGANT!! I used to use this location several times a month. excellent, attentive and helpful service. unfortunately, the last few times i went the service has been dismal. 1 employee there just seems to be mad at the world. very unhelpful, rude and with a horrible attitude. def not worth the poor experience. theres other places that offer the same services for less $ and with better service.

The gentleman working today March 26,2020 at 12 noon was rude and unprofessional. He kept hanging up on me when I was inquiring information from him. He would not pick up when I called back. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by anyone in customer service. I asked to speak to a manger and was yelled at and hung up on. I would not recommend using UPS at this location. They really need to hire people in customer service without anger issues.

Bad customer service, rude and with an attitude because I questioned their absurd prices.I’m a frequent customer at this store, I had a box that needed to be sent to another state whitin the US which it was about 7lbs and the guy told me $200 for next day delivery, so I asked how about for 2 days delivery and he said $130... he caught an atitude and became angry because I got surprised and questioned about the price. I walked out and will never return there, I went to USPS. (USPS charged me less than $30 for 2 days delivery)

Sad to see so many negative reviews,Agree the guy is not very friendly and dont smile, but that doesnt mean he is rude or unprofessional.I was there yesterday for notarizing some documents and shipping.He was professional, mindful of my time,even helped me with the copier.During my time there I saw at least 20 customers attended by him,he was not rude to anyone,maybe his lack of smile and very little conversation is perceived as rudeness.

The worse store ever. In 100 degrees weather, the employee shut off air way before closing time. We had 15 minutes left before store closing time and he said he is closing the store since we had a lot of items to process. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. I m never going there again.

I dont really understand how with so many complaints about the same employee UPS does nothing. I went there this morning and he seems so upset and refused to help me. I wanted to return some itema from Amazon and all he told me was to read the instructions. I told him I needed help anyways but he refused. I went to another store (Smith Street, Pert Amboy) and was out in less that a minute. The gentleman there was so helpful.

The guy who usually works counter does not like his job and always acts like you are bothering him when u come in. If he doesnt like his job he should find another one. I came in one day and he had a sign up saying he was on lunch for 30 minutes. I have never seen anything like this. My wife and I dislike going into this store but they closed the one in Avenel across from Quick Check. He needs to be fired! Trouble customer service!

I was treated so rudely tonight. I arrived to the store at 6:10pm and I really wish I had taken a picture but the guy that was working at the counter alone was so rude. I walked in with my very heavy box/package that I needed to ship and the guy was rushing me. He looked at me and was laughing at me for putting more tape around my box. Then he asked me, from across the room, if I was shipping something becuase he was trying to close. I thought it was very rude of him to rush especially in his nasty tone of voice. I told him Google says they’re open until 7pm and he said no that he was trying to close. I told him he was being rude and he handed my package back to me and asked me to leave.Someone needs to straighten him out and tell him that he needs to help every customer that walks through the door when they are open.So dissappointed. :(. And I didn’t get to ship my box. Poor customer service and a loss of profit for this UPS location. At least the guy got to close up early. Lol

I deal with ups store monthly with sending out samples. I have paid labels and sometimes dont tape my small box that requires a 2 inch piece of tape. All the ups stores that I have been too over the years always tape my box no issues. Now this location wanted to argue with me about it I went off on him. He taped my box and I walked out horrible employees here and very very very poor service. Go elsewhere dont waste your time here.

Very rarely will I post a negative review or issue a complaint. However after visiting this location several times, I felt compelled to write this. Customer service is terrible, the waiting time is to long. Employees at this location are incredibly and deliberately slow, which further exacerbates the poor service. They will engage in lengthy discussions with their customers, instead of clearing out the line of people waiting to be serviced.

I went into the UPS store at 1162 St Georges Avenue Avenel NJ on 8/18/20 and requested a package be shipped overnight, the packaged contained documents for our company to be able to ship products into Canada. When I asked what time the shipment would get there, the representative told me the shipment would be to the address I gave them by 8/19/20 by 5pm. When I went online to check the tracking I found out it had not even left the facility until 11pm that night and only made it to Edison NJ and that it would not be delivered until 8/20/20. When I called customer service to see about getting refunded they told me I had to call the location to get the refund. I call the location and the person told me they would not refund the $30 charge because they could not guarantee my package would get there overnight due to COVID. I argued with him about his representative giving false information he still refused to do the refund because they had paid for the product to get there a day late. I will never use this facility or UPS again to ship any products. I do not recommend doing business at this location because they do not back what they are charging for services.

Negative stars if i could. Walked toward the building at 6:25 checked my phone. Owner locked door in front of my face and rudely muttered barely audible that they were closed. 5 minutes before closing time. Hideous customer service especially during the pandemic. I had gone to this store on July 6th 2020 and returned some items back to amazon, fast forward to today August 13 2020, I get an email from amazon that they never received my items and they were going to charge my account. I called this UPS store and spoke to the rudest person ever VISHAL, sounded very overwhelmed, was rushing me off the phone because he was busy. Told me to have Amazon call him if there’s any problem because he couldn’t assist me. When the heck did servicing or helping the customer not available . I will never return to this store ever again. The guys at this store are friendly and informative. I needed Notary Service and Copy Service. They answered my question promptly and provide friendly, fast service. I had numerous envelopes of documents that needed copying and they collated and verified my copy count accurately; which is not easy to do. I will use them again.

Came in around 3pm to drop off a package, there werent any customers in the store but the few spots marked for the store were full right in front of it. As were the closest on the other side closest to St Georges avenue. One vehicle seemed to be a company van, I dont recall if it was delivery/shipping related or some other business.I was almost immediately greeted by the (only?) employee there and he asked if all I needed was to drop off which I confirmed. I got my receipt for the drop off and was on my way in seconds. I had taped up my package and applied my label prior to my visit as I always do on any drop off where I am only handing over the package to the carrier and obtaining a receipt for that hand over.

Last time I will go here the guy plainly obvious was annoyed he had to work I needed a piece of tape he said no I said fine I will go to the one bye my house...guess what the ups store in fords awesome. Paid $6 to have UPS package my item for me also bought the insurance on the item. Item was delivered damaged, opened a claim and they deny the claim. Call in the store and they hang up on me and lie that they never packaged my item for me. Dont trust these guys with your stuff, theyll lie and hang up on you, theres another UPS store about 5 minutes north from here use that one instead, I dont know if theyre any better but they cant possibly be any worse than what I experienced. The other store does have much better reviews however.

Came here a few minutes before closing to get a couple labels printed and ship out some packages back to Amazon. I walked in and the customer service guy was all smiles with the family of 3 he was helping, which seemed close to his nationality. He finally got to me and was abrupt and rude as though my presence there was unwelcomed. He did print out my labels and thankfully I got a receipt for my returns but I definitely wont be returning back to this UPS location. His attitude sucks.

Terrible customer service. I received attitude for not taping my box and then employee had the nerve to tell me it wasnt his job to prepare the package for return. I was unfamiliar with the return process and instead of explaining how to do it got a lecture on how I should know what I am doing. I will not be returning, hope people have a better experience in the future.

I went there on Friday at 6.45pm to drop a package and the door was locked. There was one guy inside who was playing on his phone. Upon knocking the door he looked and continued with his phone. I was trying ask him it is 6:45 pm and how come door is locked. So exactly at 7pm he came to the door and told me that his name is Miral and he is the owner of the place and now the store is closed. He refused to take my drop off package even though he knew that I was waiting since 6:45pm. I will never go to this place and recommend to anyone.

This business has recently changed ownership. I do a ton of internet transactions and have been using this store since it first opened. The new owner is never there and is real good at playing stupid over the phone. I brought a package to this store and after it was weighed and accepted I was charged an additional amount for insurance to cover the full value of the contents. The package was damaged in transit and the owner will not process a claim. After filing with the Better Business Bureau, the New Jersey Department of Consumer Complaints and the Middlesex County Small Claims Court I will bring my business to the USPS or FedEx.

I went there to ship an item with my box. I had print label in a usb . The guy asked me $2 for using computer for printing the label, $1 for putting packaging tape on the box. And 10 cents( acceptable) for print page.I said bye bye and went to nearby staples stores where I printed my label for 12 cents and they packed my box with the packaging tape for free

Excellent customer service provided at this UPS Store. I have no idea why people are complaining about the $1 packaging fee. When I go to the post office, they dont provide any tape if I need it. And in this day and age, I am surprised people expect free things. They are also running a business. Also, I have seen them give free water bottles to their drivers who come in sweating during the summer. That is true service and care. They take interest in their customers and genuinely care. Also, I have been in the back where they do their packing because I was concerned about a fragile item I was shipping; they use bubble wrap, foam peanuts and take extra care every single item.

So far an ok experience in the store. Im writing this review because this is a strip mall and people seem to exit thru the entrance. This has happened numerous times to me at this mall. There really isnt enough room for two cars and it is quite dangerous when someone is compelled to exit thru the entrance. There is a proper exit in front of the ups store. There is a separate entrance in front of another store. All people need to do is follow arrows appropriately.

Do Not do business with this store or you will regret it. I have a box there for my business. I paid a lot of money to have something shipped today (Friday) and I track the package and it says that they attempted to deliver it but the business was closed, I go there and there is a sign that states that they are closed today and tomorrow (Friday and Saturday) and that they will re-open on Monday!!! The sign also stated that they will be closed again Friday through Sunday of next week for no apparent reason whatsoever. I pay for a box, a box that I am supposed to have full access to and be able to pick up important packages during the normal business hours of operation, but apparently they dont care about their customers at all. I will be moving my business elsewhere and will no longer use UPS for anything whatsoever, I rather go to Fed-Ex at least I know they will never ever close early or take a full 3 days off for no reason. So unprofessional.

This store always looks empty and closed. If youve never been here, make sure you pull on the door to see if its open because theres never anyone at the front and it has very minimal lighting. The customer service is horrible also. Go somewhere else.
