This was my first time coming here. I found a mens jean jacket that I actually liked; I am from Michigan and I have been looking for a jean jacket that I like for a long time. The jean jacket was marked for $120. When I went to the cash register to checkout, my total was $255. I was not purchasing anything else. I asked why was my total over 210% more the cost of what it was marked for. The cashier responded with the price tag of $120 was the manufacture marking it for the wrong price. I responded with that the store should honor the price that it is marked for by their own manufacture. The cashier stated that Paige is not a department store so the price on the tag does not have to be honored. The way I was treated here was unacceptable and rude, so I no longer wanted to purchase the jean jacket. After I left the store, I was still shopping around at other stores in the mall. The cashier from Paige came running out of the store and shouted my name. The cashier then told me that after speaking to the manager, I would be able to purchase the jean jacket for the $120 that was marked on the price tag. I did not want to purchase it after how I was treated. The store should honor the price that the manufacture marked on the price tag. That mistake should not be at the expense of the customer. If it were such a concern to Paige, then the store should have taken the time to correct the price tags instead of leaving them as is and giving me, the customer, attitude about it.
