We had a great to no BS experience with salesperson (Justin). He randomly contacted us because our prior salesperson did not follow-up with us. Needless to say, Justin found us the exact truck we were looking for with a great price & fair price for our trade. He provided us with cold water bottles and led us to the truck we were interested in. We also enjoyed the no BS finance department with (Adam). Niner Nation πŸ€™The coffee was disgusting, but it was free. I would say the service department area & restrooms can use a remodeling. My daughter & I enjoyed the mini putting area while we waited for our truck.The only reason Im not giving a 5-Star review is because we were told the truck already had the door guards & handle guards on it, but my husband noticed on delivery they were not on the truck. Justin did acknowledge they were missing and scheduled us to bring it back the next day to have them installed. Other than that, we appreciate the customer service & professionalism of the staff we worked with, we will be returning customers.

I have a well loved 2004 GM SUV with over 150k miles on it. I am in the process of freshening it up, and I like to do some stuff myself but there are some things I prefer to not deal with. If it needs a lift to work on, I try to take it in. I brought my truck to Gateway and dealt with John in the service department. After discussing what my needs were and what I wanted done, John advised against a flush of the transmission, as that can sometimes cause issues with high mileage units. So we just went with a fluid and filter change on the transmission. He fixed a sway bar link that a different, independent shop had assembled wrong (even after having TWO chances to do it right-dont even ask). Gateway then did an alignment (Ive got a 2 lift with aftermarket torsion keys) and rotated my tires. The bill came in exactly where he said it would, and the tech did a fantastic job. The truck drives like new and the steering wheel is perfectly straight - a small detail sometimes forgotten on alignment jobs. The job did run a little longer than anticipated and so I didnt have a ride to come get the truck when it was ready. John arranged a ride for me, and when I got there he was going through my truck with some some cleaning stuff making sure that my interior was clean and ready to go. This was an all around excellent experience. The large waiting room seemed a little disorganized and short on creature features, but knowing that pretty much every service experience in every industry is taking longer than normal due to employee shortages, I just planned on leaving my truck there for a day or two and didnt have to deal with the waiting room. One last thing I will add, whomever the main phone operator is, she is quite curt sounding, could use some polishing of her phone etiquette. Other than that, thanks John and the Gateway service team, this was such a pleasant experience. This went exactly the way it should IMO. Ill be back!

I am giving the finance department a zero even though this posting shows one star. On Friday September 10, 2021, I contacted portfolio to start a key replacement claim which I was directed back to Gateway Chevrolet as Josh claim adjuster for portfolio advised me that Gateway had the ability to start the claim process and submit it online. I drove to Gateway and I advised an associate of the purpose of my visit which was to start a claim to get a replacement key for my vehicle. Associate advised me that she was new and she would need to inquire about the process. (I give this associate 5 stars honesty) she returned from making her inquiry and advised me to contact Portfolio which I advised her that I already had and showed her the email I had received from Portfolio. She asked for another second and processed to walk back to the finance office which I followed and over hear the finance associates stating that they didnt know the process. One of the finance associate walked me to his office and contacted portfolio which he advised the portfolio agent that I had stated that portfolio was giving me the run around which wasnt so as I had also shown him the email. I spent about 45 minutes trying to get this key replacement claim set up as the senior associate didnt know the process and the service department associate dismissed me to be on his phone. After getting the run around at the dealership and not having my concern resolved, I decided to leave. On my way out I ran into Carolina and she asked if I had been able to file my claim. I let her know that I wasnt able to resolve it. Carolina took me back to the service department and was able to get me scheduled for my key replacement and ensure that the parts required were set aside for me when they arrived. Carolina also get 5 stars for customer satisfaction.

Good selection of new and used cars. My family and I were in an accident our car was a total loss and we needed to get into a good new family vehicle. Ricardo was great he helped us get our new car ASAP and went out of his way to make sure we were able to get the specific one we fell in love with. My experience with the dealership and James in particular was great. He went out of his way to get me the best price and terms for my new Silverado. The only drawback from the whole deal was from the Manager. He took 500 dollars off the the cost of the truck which was great. That 500 dollars turned out to be the extra bonus cash that I would have received anyway. The big kicker was that by him taking the 500 off I lost my 1000 dollar Accessories package during truck month. I knew nothing of this part of the deal until after everything was signed. As it turns out I may have taken the 500 bonus instead of the 1000 accessories package but I wasnt given the option. But I do love the truck and I feel that I got as good a deal as you can make at a Car Dealership and as such I would recommend Gateway Chevrolet to all my friends. That is if they have any cars left on the lot.:)

It was excellent. There was no haggling for a price. I told them exactly what I was looking for and what price range I was looking to pay. They hooked me up and gave me a way better deal (brand new car) and offer (lower payment) than the Midway Chevy dealership on Bell Road for a 5 year old used car. I will definitely be back.

I had an appointment at 9:20 AM for an oil change and new windshield wipers. I dropped off my vehicle at 9AM and used the Lyft service to go home. At 1:29 PM I called to check on the status since I had not yet heard back about my vehicle. While I was talking to the receptionist my service tech Alejandra was calling me so I switched over. I asked if my car was ready and she told me no, that they hadnt even started it yet. I told her that I needed my car, I had to pick up my son from school at 2:30 PM. She told me they would try to start it now. I finally received a call at 3:30 PM that my car was ready. When I got there I asked If I would have stayed there, would it have only been an hour wait? Alejandra then said No, it would have been only 2 hours. I asked at that point to speak the the manager. I cant remember his name, but he told me due to other vehicles coming in and adding on stuff my car was pushed to the side. I told him, that I would rather drive out of my way to go to different dealership to get my future service since I didnt feel as if my business was appreciated. He said he would call on Monday to try and rectify the situation. Since I still had to go and pick up my son who was now waiting with the principal. Well at this point he proved his point since we still have not heard from them. Looks like my husband and I will be taking our business to a different dealership.

I had a 7am appt (arrived at 6:50am)for an oil change and to have the key faub looked at. I sat in the lobby waiting for my car. At 8:15 am I checked for a status on my car and all my appt manager (Lucia) said was β€œsomeone is looking at your transmitter now”. When asked if the oil change had been done he said β€œno, we are working through the waiters first.” When I went to talk to the manager in person, he said he was unaware I had stayed and waited. He never asked me if I was staying as I walked into the lobby. By this time he had wasted 90 minutes of my morning and I had to now take my car and leave as this would prolong my time even longer. I asked for my keys, and he walked into the office area and grabbed them. Not one thing was done with the faub, so I feelHe lied to me when he said someone was looking at it earlier. He never once apologized for wasting my time nor did he try to even to reschedule to get my car in. I took my car to a completely different dealer to get my oil changed. We bought the car at this Chevy dealership and have done all maintenance there as well, so I can’t say I wouldn’t recommend this location, but I was extremely disappointed in this whole process.

I have purchased a new vehicle every 2 to 3 years for the past 20 years. This is by far the worst experience yet. My sales person left to have drinks midway through our deal. The finance person lied through his teeth about gap insurance to get me to buy a warranty that he also was misleading on. The parts person has been waiting almost a year for a part and I have driven down there to have measured and then went to get installed. Only to find out it didnt fit. We are a week later and again no resolve. I want to return the vehicle and pretend I never went there. List price 25k my loan is now 37k. Buyer beware they are scammers. The GM never returns calls either.

I felt insulted at the trade in offer but that is the ONLY negative I could give. Ill get what Im after with private sale of my old car. I am a full-time RVer and live in my 5th-wheel trailer. My tow vehicle (and lifeline) is a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD High Country. A few days ago my dashboard message center stated Exhaust filter cleaning. Continue driving. So I did...for 30 minutes. Today I get the message Emissions System Service Required. 175 miles until restricted to 65 mph. My travels brought me through the Phoenix area and will be here a few more days. I drove to Gateway Chevrolet in hopes they could help me out. I was directed in to the Cashier counter by a very helpful salesperson that was outside. I explained my dire situation to the lady at the desk. All I got was Sorry we cant help you. We are understaffed and overbooked. ????? Thats it? Thats your customer service standard? OK, I get it, your busy. But no Let me see if I can get a technician to run the code to see what the problem is.? I can at least get that at Advance Auto or OReilly but I chose to us an authorized Chevrolet Service Center due to my truck being under warranty. So....if youre a Chevy person that is on your way through Phoenix and find yourself in need of vehicle service...DO NOT try this dealership as they are Too busy for you.

I had an appointment scheduled for 10:30 am. I actually arrived early at 9:30 for my appointment. I check in with the service advisor. He quickly confirmed that the issue I was having was my battery and it needed to be replaced. I opted to stay in wait in the lobby while my vehicle was being serviced. I waited for my vehicle until 2:30 pm. During this time I was never once checked on or given an update on my vehicle. I actually had to go in and inquire about what was taking so long. I was then told @ 1:45 pm that there was some staffing issues and that my vehicle was next to be serviced and it shouldn’t take more than 30 min to complete. I understand that businesses are struggling right now with staff I am in the service industry myself. But my visit showed a complete lack of care and I feel like I was completely neglected! I wish I could say this was a one off but this is not the first time that I have had a similar experience here.

I have a defective truck and have had several issues and have been refused service at the dealer. My truck still has a check engine light that I tried to get fixed months ago with under 50k miles on it. Im only grateful that I did not trade in my Subaru when I was being pressured into it while buying this truck. I will adjust this review if the problem is rectified by the dealer. The truck will be taken back for them to determine what they want to do, if anything.

Chevy had my vehicle for a week. They called and said we can go get a rental. Vehicle wasnt ready so they never said anything about the rental nothing. Now we are being charged 200 that we dont have for extra days. They said its not in their hands and we need to speak to the extended warranty.They did not communicate with us at all about the extended warranty only covering 3 days. And about our vehicle being ready. We had to call them to see when it would be ready.I dont understand why they wouldnt have gave us all the Information beforehand.

My sales rep James was great. Making the deal was average, not great but not terrible. There were no complimentary snacks or soda available. When you are there for longer than 2hrs and spending 50k on a truck a little chips and a soda would be great. Making a deal out in the common area with no privacy is a little un-nerving. There is no separation between customers. You get to hear everything that’s going on around you and the sales manager says the same things to everyone. My vehicle was new and delivered that day, allegedly, I was under the impression that I would be able to pick the nonnegotiable tint, but I wasn’t. Now I have to get that redone on my time/dime. The 3rd day home, 188 mi, I saw an oil leak, yes oil leak in my driveway. The axel seal on the front end was leaking!!!!!! Three days later, GM warranty replaced all parts needed and back on the road. No answers to why that would/could happen but it got fixed. Back on the road and keep on trucking!!!! I traded in a Toyota Tundra for a Trail boss.....a little shaky on the get go but hopefully it was a good switch. Time will tell.

My wife scheduled an appointment for a single tire and an alignment. I got there 30 minutes early and was checked in. I was told it would take about 2 hours more or less. He asked me if I wanted a Lyft, I said Id wait.Fast forward 3 hours, I go to check on my car and he told me They are working on it. I asked how much longer, he repeated They are working on it.. I told him its been 3 hours already, how much longer? He went and checked and told me they were replacing the tire now and then they were going to do the alignment next.Three hours to JUST start a tire??? When i had an appointment? Thats just unacceptable, and instead of apologizing or anything his answer was we are busy.Whatever, I understand busy, i dont understand the complete lack of respect for customers time and appointments. A single tire and an alignment should not take 3 hours.At that point I told him I would like the Lyft home (that process was easy).I did not get a call from the dealership until 5PM to say the car was ready. 1030AM - 5PM for one tire and a front end alignment with an appointment!!To add insult to injury we were told the price of the tire and the price of the alignment when we set the appointment but when I got the bill there was a surprise $40 mount and balance charge which was never mentioned or explained (had it been mentioned up front then fine)At this point I was so done with this dealership and the service that we just paid it and left. Believe me, I will literally drive to every other Chevy dealership just to never have to have another experience like the one I had yesterday at this one.

5 stars all the way!!! My husband and I were looking into the car sales strip mall right off the freeway. We stopped by Earnhardt Honda first but they werent really helping us buy. So after we worked up numbers on a used odyssey and didnt like the monthly, we left and went to Gateway Chevrolet. A young man by the name of Jesus Castro was very energetic and helpful to get us approved. We told him our situation and he ran with our requests and made things happen. Alejandra the service adivisor was pleasant. However despite having an appointment I had to wait almost two hours for an oil change and tire rotation. I had to ask her what was taking so long before they pulled my my vehicle in to work on it. The work was done quickly and they were able to fix the issue with my TPMS that was giving inaccurate readings, so that was good. However there is a noise from my right rear wheel that was not attended to and I was told I would have to make and appointment and leave the car for several days because of backlog. What am I supposed to do, walk to work? If you really are so badly backlogged hire more mechanics. This is ridiculous.

Horrible experience!!! First, I drove from Casa Grande which is about an 1hr and 30 minutes in traffic to receive the worst experience. My appointment was at 8am, I got there on time right a 8, they told me my vehicle would be ready in two hours max.. I ended getting my truck back at 5pm. On top of that the service advisor was super unprofessional. I recommend everyone finds a different dealerships to service their vehicles.

I love my new Chevy, however when it came to adding a warranty to my new car I feel like I was mislead when it came to canceling the warranty. I still to this day (5 days later) haven’t received my cancellation form, although I went it the VERY next day to cancel it after purchasing. Very dissatisfied and disappointed in the way I was mislead information and the fact that it still hasn’t been made right is why I DEFINITELY won’t refer any friends or family to this dealership.

The purchasing experience was okay. First day I go to buy a truck and while I am on the test drive it is sold by the time I get back. Reagan did a good job following up and knowing the truck I wanted and he called when it was in. All was swell until I brought it in for a spray liner and the detail guys crashed the truck. While the GM offered to take the truck back and ultimately bought the loan back, which was a token of trust building with me again, there has been no overwhelming effort or offer to get me back into my truck. Why go back and get the same deal at the shop with all these issues. Only way I would ever go back is if they made a fair offer on a new truck.

Service department is horrible. Appointments don’t mean anything, they lie to you. Also don’t honor warranties. Bought a new car got hustled into an extended warranty, won’t honor free oil changes and now my transmission is acting up and they don’t care, want to keep my car for weeks and won’t offer a loaner car. Regret buying a car here.*** update I’ve tried to contact a manager but have been told I have to go through my service advisor Zach, but last time I talked to him he said there was nothing they can do for me. How nice that they give me a generic response to my review, but don’t provide a contact that can actually help. And the reason they can’t find me in their system, I got married, my last name changed, tried to get it updated in their system before but they weren’t able to. I did speak with GM customer care and was informed that the dealership lied and I can go to any certified mechanic to fix any issues under warranty. So happy to find that out so I don’t have to deal with this horrible dealership anymore.

I shopped at Gateway Chevy because they were a few thousand dollars less than the competitors. I bought a Silverado and am more than happy with it. However, during my time with the finance person, we negotiated on something and came to an agreement on it. I trusted that would be the way it appeared in the contract, but when I got home and looked at it. It was not what we agreed to. Its about $4,000 more than what we agreed to. I contacted my salesperson and he said he would have finance call me. That was 4 days ago. I really feel duped and will not recommend this dealership to anyone until my situation is hashed out. Im still hoping to hear from you!!!Update: Yesterday morning I called the number you gave me and I got a voicemail message. I left my name, number and the issue I am having and have not heard back.

We had a great experience with Gateway! When we went in we were promptly greeted by Dewayne and we let him know what we were looking for. He was very friendly and personable, showed us what we asked for, gave great information for us to compare the two vehicles. He was never pushy and was able to work with the manager to get us the price we wanted for our new Trailblazer. We had spent the previous day with a Nissan dealership that came no where near the service we had gotten here at Gateway.

The service department does not deserve the word service to be in their title. I dropped off our car to Roberto. Roberto was, and probably still is, a condescending jerk. My car sat there for two days, nobody touched it or looked at it. I came and picked it up because I was sick of waiting. They also wanted to charge me $150 for an inspection fee, which would not have gone to the cost of any repairs needed. I will never go back to this dealership, or service department, again.

They go me into a brand new Chevy equinox that I love! Jesus was awesome I told him exactly what I was looking for and he made it happen! The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had an appointment at 6pm with Omar and I’m not sure what happened or how there was any confusion but we didn’t get seen till almost 7pm and that’s when Jesus came in to save the day! I would def recommend family and friends!

Guaranteed car was ready to take off lot and when I tried turning it on it would not start. Service has the worst communication. Worst experience ever. I just hope that my car starts when (IF) they call me to go pickup and that I no longer have any issues. Its been two days since we last were there and still no phone call or voicemails for any updates. FYI, I had no issues with car not starting when it took it in. I took it in for an engine light and no sound in the vehicle. Ridiculous.

The service team for the most part was great, however it seemed like they could not pin point the mechanical issue of the vehicle. I do understand that the part was difficult and took a long time to be shipped, but 3 months is way to long. Also I was out of town when the service was completed. So I had my son pick up the vehicle. They pretty well just handed him the paper work and the keys and did not explain anything to him, although that wasnt the may thing that really upset me. When I dropped off the vehicle, it was just right after picking it up from Gateway and I was washing my vehicle when the vehicle started acting up again, so it was clean when I dropped it off. My biggest issue was when my son picked it up, they didnt even bother to rinse the dust off, and a bag of trash that I had left in the vehicle was dumped out in the back seat, also I dont know why my change was thrown all over the back floor and soda cans were left in the vehicle, that werent mine.

Our sales rep Adrian Garcia was the absolute best! He listened to what it was we were looking for, and was pleasant during our entire experience. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles, and was able to answer all of our questions. Not once did he say, I dont know (if he did, I guess it doesnt matter). He didnt feel like our Salesman, very friendly, not pushy at all. The sales manager introduced himself, and was very helpful and polite. Tony, wrapped up final paperwork and signatures. He was very quick, yet very thorough, and felt like family. I feel bad for not remembering the girls name that delivered the vehicle, but she was very nice, very helpful, and made sure we were all set before we left. We were very impressed with all of the staff that worked together, and gave us an awesome day!!!We cant say it enough, Thanks again Gateway Chevrolet!!!

Ive been to this service location twice for an oil change, the 1st time they took long for an oil change, the second time they took way longer even though I had an appointment but the reason why Im giving them 1 star is because all the time that they took to do the oil change and they didnt tighten the filter of my vehicle, so my car was leaking oil. For them to take all that time and to not even do a right job is just wrong.

Didn’t buy here but wasted my time. Over the phone I was ensured that we would be able to work within my budget, however, after being forced as usual to test drive it before getting numbers, they proceeded to tell me that my β€œbottom line” price is actually 13,000 over the bottom line price even with a solid trade in. Previously on the phone I said I would just sell privately but they said they could match it, however, they gave me subpar trade in rates as expected. Lessons learned. 1. Don’t trade in your vehicle here, just sell it privately. 2. Expect to pay over 5k over the asking price β€œbottom line” price.
