Found this great litte cafe on the square in Bainbridge. Excellent coffee, breakfast sandwiches and the apple cinnamon muffin was off the chain!

One of my top 5 favorites that Ive been to. I have only tried one thing ( the Bainbridge ) which is a turkey bacon provolone lettuce tomato with ranch dressing on Italian bread pressed with a side of potato salad. Service was great nice atmosphere food was fresh I cant wait to try more of the menu. Your missing out if you havent been.

Went there this morning to just get a bagel and a water because I was in a hurry and had to be to work soon. After almost 15 minutes still didnt get my stuff and there was almost no other customers. So I went up to ask about my stuff and turns out they had forgotten about me. Wont be back and I regret leaving them a tip because they didnt deserve it after such a long wait time and forgetting that I was even there.

Its so beautiful inside, the staff & the manager/owner are very nice! Everything there is delicious and I would recommend trying the Mona Lisa or the Mocha! Whatever you order, drink or food, it comes out on time (after you have ordered it).I would recommend The Bean Café to anyone who loves coffee and food. 5/5 Stars!

I stopped here while in town for business to grab a quick lunch. The place was empty, but the decor and atmosphere were pleasing.I never saw an adult while there, which was strange. A curt child took my order and money (who honestly just seemed annoyed I was there and asked for a recommendation on a sandwich) and a second child gave me my cup so I could get my tea, and a third child brought my sandwich. I can appreciate a family owned business, but it would be nice to see an adult around.I wasnt impressed with the sandwich, as it was tasteless, although fresh.Im giving 3 stars for atmosphere alone. If in Bainbridge again, Ill probably give them a second chance and have a coffee and pastry.

What a treat this was. Wife and kiddos came here last year and wed been wanting to take a day-trip up to Bainbridge so this was our destination lunch-spot. Lee Tennyson (proprietor) was most congenial. This Bulldog was gearing up for the 2017 Bulldog/Mountaineer game later on today and was proudly wearing his colors.Great deli lineup of sandwich options. I had the Muffaletta but it was a hard choice between it, the Reuben and the New Yorker (corned beef instead of the Ruebens pastrami).Spectacular views out the enormous windows - and by the looks of it, live music is no stranger to the interior. In fact, We learned from Lee that he was a musician from way back - having played with the likes of Mike Mills (of R.E.M. fame) way back in the day when he was in Athens in 79/80. The things you learn!The biggest seller here is The Bainbridge - (Italian bread, Prov, Turkey, Ranch, then B-L-T with an onion). As awesome as it sounded, I still ended up with a great Muffaletta.Which is funny - because Im not a Muffaletta guy. In general, I avoid olive spreads like the plague - but Id read a few comments about the Muffaletta here and truly, its very good. As sacrilegious as it is to utter, Id stack it up against Central Grocery & Delis muffaletta.There. I said it.Bottom line - for those of you (like us) from TLH that enjoy day trips to the nearby communities - Bainbridge is worth the trip and while youre here - The Bean is worth your time if a classic Deli is your thing.Say hey to Lee.

The Bean Cafe is the BEST! We had a great experience eating there. We ordered sandwiches and they were delicious! The staff is very friendly, our food was prepared quickly and it was an overall very positive visit. Well definitely be back!

Our family happened upon this sweet, family-run coffee shop this morning and boy are we glad we did!The lates were great! (High five to the tiny barista) Sandwiches were delicious! But the best part was walking through the doors and feeling like you’ve walked into a safe haven.....what a BLESSING!!! Can’t wait to go back when we pass through again.

Great coffee great atmosphere. If you want something cold and different they have a drink called the Mona Lisa. Definitely really sugary from the icecream and flavors. But its like having a desert in a cup. Its really delicious.

My mother and sisters and I walked in 15 minutes till closing and the staff acted agitated that we were there. Said they had just made a fresh pot of coffee. Tasted hours old and not enough for 4 people. Had hoped to enjoy a cup of coffee and something sweet. Didnt happen.

Found these folks on line. Found the shop. Read the menu. Ordered a sandwich and strong black coffee. Good food and good coffee at reasonable prices. Who could ask for more? But there was more...Every single thing about this place was positive. Got parked in the convenient downtown parking. Eased up the walk and through the welcoming doors. Exchanged smiles with others. It seemed as if everybody knew everybody yet I did not feel at all out of place.The roaster is out in plain view in the back room and a chat with the owner revealed his pride in his work.Indeed, that pride was reflected in the cleanliness and ambience of this coffee shop. I ever you are in Bainbridge for lunch, you must stop by this mans shop.I cant wait to be there for breakfast!

Wonderful sandwiches and atmosphere. Best coffee out there. All the coffee is roasted and flavored by the owner. Fudge is homemade by the owner and sometimes his wife. Very down-to-earth place. You’ll be greeted not just by staff but by some of the regulars, too. It’s just a homey place.

The coffee is ok, I just didnt like being helped by three different children and then my coffee was lukewarm. I assume the parents own the place and let the kids help out, which is cute, but the ones that helped me were way too young in my opinion.

Appealing decor. Liked the inspiring verse on the board and music. Upon entering noticed the pastry cabinet was all but empty except for a couple bagels. Cashier seemed annoyed. Opted to eat in. My sandwich was tasty and brought out in a few minutes. My coffee was not brought out. I assumed it was forgotten, no big deal, I walked up after finishing my sandwich to ask for it and cashier points to my coffee sitting on the counter...your coffee is right there When you are handed a number, you think it is going to brought out. If you cant keep high service standards and ediquite, the scriptures on the board and Christian music in the back ground need to come down, you are doing more damage than good.

The sandwiches my husband and I got were both delicious. My husband can be a very picky eater, but he really enjoyed his food. The owner came and spoke us. He us a really friendly guy. I will be back!

We love this place. Coffees hot and sandwiches are delicious. We really like the German Chocolate Cake-flavored coffee on Wednesdays.

We ordered 2 mocha madness drinks. It tasted like very watered down icecream and coffee. It wasnt blended well either, half of the drink was in a frozen clump at the bottom. Was surprised it didnt even have mocha syrup on/in it.

Everything about this little place is wonderful! The food is delicious, the service was friendly and fast, the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. We enjoyed the waffles, omelette, chicken salad and tomato basil soup - all were fantastic!

This place has the best breakfast sandwich ever! Dont let me forget their white chocolate mocha its amazing as well.. I really recommend this place. Its a little expensive but the good customer service you get and the good food are worth it!

I called to ask a few questions before going in to order. Big mistake. The young lady was very rude short and impatient. The coffee is ok at best so no one should have a bad attitude. I called because I cant drink whole milk wanted soy but settled for almond. Not happy with service at all. Someone else had the same negative experience with the same person.
