Every time I go in there they charge me different price. This place is taking a vantage of the pandemic so they can over charge people. Their shelf says one price and their register says different price. Same items that I always buy they charge me double. Their merchandise does not have prices on them so they can charge people any price they want. Someone please need to notify the BBB.

Always a nice visit. I get my Asian food ingredients not found in regular grocery stores.Place is clean and Mindy is always accommodating.

This place is just too good, a wide variety of items that spark joy! I always leave with more than I came in for, so its dangerous to go in with a low wallet! I will always recommend their steams pork buns, found by the entrance. Delicious food, and its also fun to just browse! I will also note that sushi rice is cheaper here then other stores.

Only place in town you can get this palm juice imported from Thailand! So delicious.

If I ever need anything asian this is the place I go to first they have everything I will ever need for any dish I want to make at home make sure you know what ingredients you need because they have such a HUGE selection of food and its also great to try snacks that are new I recommend going in to buy a moon cake, get some green tea KitKats and pick up some furikake seasoning for your rice! I love this store more than any other store I go to

Has big selections and good prices, my only complaint is their walk ways are so small from all the product overstock, and its really dark in there so its actually kinda gard to see everything, needs better lights

Wanting to make some thai curry and this is certainly the place to find anything that you need for Asian cuisine. The store is packed with anything that you might find at your everyday store like winco or albertsons. You do have to search for what you need. Walls have all noodles. Its hard to find someone to help you look for stuff. And make sure you check expiration dates before you make your purchase and all sales are final right now and theyre not taking returns because of the Covid19 pandemic.

A hidden gem, lots great spices and the noodle selection is over the top, I couldnt decide. The store is crammed with Asian products, some hard to find in other places. Aisle are narrow so be careful not to knock over anything. Not much help so be prepared to self navigate and discover something cool

I get my bobba supply (powder & bobba), almond cookies, and noodles here. I always go in for one thing and almost always leave with 5+.

Just moved to Bakersfield and needed a new grocery store that sold Asian food. Im usually in the market for Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese brands.This place is very reminiscent of every Chinese bodega in NY. Narrow aisles, dim-ish lighting. But no butcher or bakery or large produce. Mostly canned, frozen, and dry food, but still a lot of variety and I always find what im looking for!And I guess theyre the only Asian grocer in town, so 5-stars for hanging in there! Please never close, I need you.

Cluttered, hard to find anything, same items in different locations thru out store. No order that I can figure out. But they have everything.

I really liked this market, they had tons of Asian essential items that I usually use and need. I will go back if I need more Korean red pepper flakes.

My husband and I love it here! They have a huge selection of noodles, fresh steamed buns in a fridge waiting to be steamed at home, and a great produce section of things you can’t find in any other grocery store. They people are always nice, and they have a hot food area that’s not always open but when it is, they make the best food and boba drinks! Would recommend!

This market has everything you need for Asian/Hawaiian cuisine. The staff are really nice and helpful. Lots of great cookware, snacks, drinks, and ingredients for mealtime.Theres also a tea bar inside but Ive never got anything there.

I bought a jar of kimchee. The lady who checked me out was pleasant. I will shop here again. My 5 🌟s is for one item only, I cant rate the rest. 😉

This is why give this place gets five stars because they carry this type of fruit you cannot grow here in the US but they do havoc in other countries and this is why they get 5 stars because of this fruit Durian I recommend this fruit to anybody who wants to try it

I absolutely love this store. Yes the items can be pricey, but in my opinion youd pay that or more ordering from Amazon since not everything is easily available here in the states. I usually spend no less than 50 dollars, but it lasts me. The isles are narrow, but that doesnt bother me. Overall, I will continue to go to this market until the day I leave Bakersfield.

If the recipe youre preparing has an unusual ingredient, this place probably has it. And probably 5 different brands of it. Go to buy that thing, but look around! Theres surprises on every shelf.

This place is rad. So many items to choose from.

Some of the stock is expired but they still put in the place. If u go this store check first the expiration date before you buy.

The place is small and packed with merchandise on every alley blocking consumer movements. Could hardly pass a cart. The cashier is tactless and in a hurry. She speaks very fast and hard to understand with her accent. I bought 3 boxes of grocery items and asked for help putting them in the cart and into my van. I have a very bad back. Told me that they dont have any help and offered me that she will place them in a bought plastic bag and I will carry them on my own. Informed her that I couldnt because my back hurts. She then called somebody overhead and a guy showed up. No I will not go back to that place again. The place is dangerous. You could not escape quickly because the aisles are very narrow with so many items blocking the path.

All the employees are always super sweet and I love grabbing snacks and sodas from here! Their tea selection is also something fun to look into. You can find almost anything you need that a regular super market wont have.

Its an eye open market. You can find about anything in there. They have lots and lots of different noodles. Spices. Frozen fish. Frozen food. Vegetables that they use. I loved the store. And they have hot food to eat.

I absolutely love going to this asian Market! Since its the only one around Town with alot of variety. Although i have purchased noodles that were expired. My mistake for not checking dates but they shouldnt even be on the shelf? It also Smells very faul in the frozen section.

I love The Asian Market! Its not as big as ones youll find in LA or OC but theres plenty of options. Theyve been in town for as long as I can remember. Its my go to place to get the ingredients for lumpias and pansit😁 They have so many goodies! Ive never had issues w their service nor their products. I do wish their little restaurant had more of a dine in area but its not a biggie. When anyone asks me where they can go to get asian products, I always suggest the Asian store!

Product types and varieties were good. Of the nine items we purchased, seven had past due expiration dates. That was my responsibility to check labels, but seven of nine expired? Was this because of Covid-19, perhaps not moving stock quick enough? Not sure.

Loads of products from Indian to far east cuisine. Produce selection is mediocre I wish they had a few more specialty items that are hard to find. They do have a nice selection of cookware and Asian plating. I was also hoping for more korean-based side dishes like seaweed salad and the little Walnut fishes things like that which they dont have or Kimbop and in my opinion the little restaurant in there I ordered the pad thai and honestly two bites and that was enough for me its not the best but overall for hard to find ingredients I would recommend this place good luck.

You can find nearly anything you need here from most Asian and South Asian cuisinrs. Just check the expiration dates. The sheer volume of individual products means that not everything moves quickly, I think. Ive never had anything that was actually expired, but alot that were within 30 days of exp date. Very helpful and friendly staff and owners that will help you find whatever obscure item you are seeking.

Best place to get what you need overseas! Ive made pork buns, mapo tofu, curry, and Takoyaki from the food here. Also the occasional moon cake for snacks!

I lived in SD for the past few years and I havent been here in a minute. I went about a week ago and I was so excited to see tht they had a lot of wht I used to get at the Japanese market in Oceanside. They have pretty much everything from Korean banana milk to delicious Thai bread to Japanese Bonito flakes for sushi.

There are so many korean food. Great for koreans.

My husband likes going to this store because he can get all his spices or noodles or anything he may want to cook with but to me its too unorganized and everytime I ask where something is located the workers seem alittle agitated so needless to say its not one of my favs.

Lots of great products from across Asia. My Filipino wife really loves this place. She can get all her comfort food there.

They have lots of selections for dry good... but thier freezer section needs to be clean, open freezer was filthy and rusted. Fish arent so clean look... if your looking for dry goods i highly recommend this store.. but not in the freezer sections. Owner was friendly tho

This is a good place to shop for most of your Asian food need. My family usually go to Orange County once every one or two months to buy most of our groceries there because they have a lot of asian herbs, snacks and spices. But living in Bakersfield is too far of a drive for us to go there whenever we need to. Thanks God we found Asia Market on White Ln. They have pretty much most of the spices, vegetables and others ingredients that we would need to make an authentic Vietnamese meal. The prices are a little more expensive than most asian markets in LA. And the only down side of it is that you have to check for the expiration date.

A little pricey but they have a lot of different Asian brands so you dont have to go to multiple places when shopping for specific goods. The older lady and I think it was her husband were very nice as well. Service was attentive and fast.
