I used Safelite to replace my windshield. Joseph was the technician that worked on my car. He called to let me know hed be on his way and was on time. He was very friendly and helpful. His service has made me customer for life. I am also going to recommend Safelite to all my friends. If you can request a technician I would request Joseph. He did an amazing job!

Well let me start by saying my local office is very nice and professional. but the corporate phone and website scheduling system is by far the worst I have ever seen, and I was in customer service for over eighteen years. they go out of there way to make sure you dont get through to a human being. needless to say my email for warranty service went unanswered and I finally found a text number were they told me I was s.o.l. repairs are not covered under warranty even when they are under thirty days.

They are prompt and professional. Your appointment time is not an estimate. They get to work on you car at the scheduled time. They replaced my windshield and performed the recalibration of the cameras and sensors in the time frame they estimated (1.5 hours) So far so good. Lifetime warranty on their products. They provided a certificate of recalibration to me digitally. I definitely recommend.

Im only giving it four stars right now My service was good and reasonable on time but the second day I drove it after the glue dried the side windshield supporter flew off as I was driving 40 mph.

Terrible, small chip in the window of my Audi, safelite brags 97% success rate well apparently my car was one of the 3% failure. What was going to be a free repair (insurance) is now going to be a $500 replacement and of course Safelite is not responsible!

I had a small crack filled in by Safelite but I was told that I would still be able to see the crack and I was okay with that. A few weeks after the crack was filled in, mind you this car wasnt being driven at all, the crack spread throughout my whole front windshield. When I called they offered me credit towards replacing the windshield. They made my windshield worse and wanted me to now pay more to fix what they created. The lady finally said I would get a refund and that I should see it in my bank in about 7-10 business days. It has now been more than 7-10 business days and I havent seen a refund. Save your money I got my windshield repaired for way less by AutoGlass of Bakersfield!!

Bad experience for me, I had to reschedule my glass replacement 3 times! First time I scheduled with them, they came to my place to get my passenger rear window replaced. They came & within 10 minutes on working on my glass replacement, the technician finds out they had the wrong glass replacement for my car. Because of that, I had to reschedule. Second time, one week later, I scheduled for them to come to my place again. They called me midday to say they dont have anyone to come out to my scheduled appointment so they told me to come to them for the appointment only to find out that they couldnt replace my window due to a broken bracket that holds the glass. Because of that, I had to reschedule again. The third time, two weeks later, I head back to their office only to find out that the bracket they ordered did not fit! & they tried to charge me $120 for the bracket when they told me last time they werent charging me for it. At that point, I asked for a full refund. I swear the technician doing the job had no idea what he was doing. That same day I went a different shop, & got that window replaced the next day. Apparently Safelite tried to rip me off, a bracket was never needed for the glass replacement. Very poor experience. Never going back.

Staff was professional. I got a passanger window put in and added wipers and rain x. They stopped when they saw a chip In The windshield to ask if I still wanted the rain x option. They finished in less time than was quoted and everything worked with no rattling.

First installation had a defect on glass. Waited a week for materials to dry. Second time (under warranty) was good, but employee told me the first installer lost his bonus because of my review. Probably so but I was just being honest on the review. Thereafter I noticed my paint was chipped on the drivers side. I will be following up on this matter.

Lots of confusion. First visit they didnt have the exact glass but had one that was the same but cosmetically different. They were going to try to get the match so they cleaned up and covered the broken area. We went home to wait. They never called so we called them. They didnt find a match so we said to put in the alternative glass. Thats when they said they didnt carry a match. We called a couple of times but same answer. Finally we went down there, the reception desk said there was no glass. Then we asked for the manager. He looked it up but there was something going on with the computer. So he went back to actually look. He came back, he had found the glass. It had been just sitting there. So they installed it quickly and the manager gave us a discount for our trouble. Oh and while they do mobile glass repairs we were originally told it could take close to a week to come out. Gave 3 stars because of the discount, it would otherwise be 2. They are also far from central Bakersfield.

I requested to have a crack repaired. I had an appointment the next day at my place of employment. Very convenient. I did not have to waste time after work. The Technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the service and it was completed within 20 minutes. I was originally going to pay out of pocket and the technician asked who my insurer was and then explained to me that my insurance covered the glass repair with no cost to me and it did not count as a claim. I verified with my isurance and had the glass repaired as the tech said, at no cost. I was very impressed with the entire service. I would definitely recommend!

Everyone was polite and explained things well. Our new windshield looks great, and the installation didn’t cause damage, as I have heard can sometimes happen. The waiting room was quiet and clean, and it was easy to relax, read, and watch HGTV.

They repaired the shoddy job that Absolute Auto Glass Repair did on my Chevrolet Colorado. The technicians were obviously experienced and were extremely quick in their repair of my windshield. They even replaced the windshield cowling for me to make it flush against the windshield. Very nice employees and did a good job!

So I didn’t use this company but I got a quote on 1 rear passanager window and got quoted 359$ before fees and tax. Right now I’m at A &A Auto glass on Union getting it done for 85$. It was not delivered to my house but totally worth driving to union to save 300$ or more

Had my driver window broken one night and called Safelite first. They gave me an appt to come in 4 days from the day i called. They said theyd ghetto wrap the window for me till the time being. Honestly, only because their appt was way too many days and their price wasnt the lowest i found, i wouldve gone with them because of the customer service and that ghetton wrap😂😂

Now, the two service techs who came were the best! Logan and David tag-teamed my windshield and had it finished in no time. Plus, they had nothing but great things to say about their company! They believe in their product and that makes a world of difference. I am extremely impressed with Safelite, their products, procedures, and employees.

I replaced my windshield but when it came to reprogram the front sensor they only wasted 2 tanks of gas and never fixed it’s been a month and since then they said they would call and haven’t called since then

They did a great job fixing the chips in our windshield and got it done really quickly.

The place has a lot of miscommunication with each other. When I called to schedule an appointment for service they gathered all my information and incorrectly marked everything. Went to the appointment and tried to charge me more for a mistake that wasnt done by me. Sounds like they planned this out to get the customers to go in and once they are there they state that wrong information was provided but here is the correct information and now itll be this much more $$$$. Customers can fall for it because they really just want the repair done but sorry I rather not be overcharged for a mistake done on their end and not by me. Out of all this I have no windshield fixed and their ability to help resolve the issue was disappointing. Would not recommend this repair place.

Certain Technicians are in a big hurry to get done. They are working on someone elses car, not taking their time and doing a excellent job as if it was theirs. The upside is they are mobile and will come to wherever you are.

5 star for the quality of work. I made an appointment 5 days out for 1pm. I arrived 15 minutes early, but they chose to work on a walk-in ahead of me since I came early. The work on my car started 45 minutes after I arrived 1:30 as they spent the hour working on the walk in. And it took an hour and a half which means my total wait time was 3 hours 15 minutes.I was extremely dissapointed with their decision. It made me question why bother making an appointment when they do not care to honor it.The whispering and low voice conversations that were being performed as I came in early was possibly the worse service I ha e experienced as it was not only rude, but demeaning as I, who made the appointment and even came early, was considered as an inconvenience since they had to make their decision as to who to work on first.I reiterate my dissapointment with their lack of care, honor and respect.

Call them out because of our insurance recommending them for a small chip in your windshield when they left you couldnt even tell they were there and then they told us it wasnt a cosmetic repair it was only functional well they didnt tell us that prior to if they had we would have had somebody else fix it you cant even tell there were there and then when we called to complain they basically didnt care told us to put all the batteries up on the internet that we wanted to

I could not be more pleased with my experience. Recommended by USAA Insurance, Safelite replaced my windshield on my truck two days after first contact. Safelight confirmed the appointment by E-Mail and telephone call and then the installer called to confirm the appointment and a second time to refine when he would be here to a half hour window.Installer, Mario, was likewise superb, going the extra mile to vacuum the truck and clean all the windows.I recommend the Bakersfield Safelite without hesitation.

Worst customer service! We arrived at 12:55p. Female behind the counter told us the tech was at lunch and we would be helped at 1p. No problem. 1:10 rolls around and no one is there to help, at 1:15 a 1:30 appt arrives and they help them before us, still no one talks to us. At 1:45 were finally acknowledged and told its be another 20 min because they share a tablet to input information. We pay, get a receipt and are told to return in 90 min. When we come back were told that the payment didnt go thru?? How is that, you gave me a reciept?? All the employees we spoke to had the worst attitude. If you dont like customer service work then work somewhere else but I will never return.

Bad service. Installed an aftermarket window without me having a choice online to get OEM. Ended up paying for the OEM window (i didnt mind). It doesnt give you an option online if you want OEM or aftermarket that sucks. Anyway drove around with aftermarket tell OEM came in 2 weeks after. They installed it and broke my regulator another 2-week doen. Left my new window holding up with tape. Had to call multiple times to see if they ordered the part. They lied said supervisor contacted me. Thats bullsh*t. Tape gave out dropped the window down and scratched it. They blamed its my weather stripe. But the aftermarket one they installed didnt scratch. They also dinted my door, broke my trimming and scuffed my door. Worse service ever still waiting on a call as of now and nothing. Sucks I have a brand new window scratched. Not even my other windows are. Should have never paid them tell everything was fixed. Live and learn.

Of all the terrible times to have an emergency, mine was Christmas Eve. The night before, my big rig was broken into. It was now Christmas Eve, and I had to be on the road that evening in order to make my delivery time. After spending all morning waiting for the Sheriffs office to show up, it was almost noon before I was able to get a hold of Safelite and hope that they would be able to get my drivers side window replaced in order for me to still make it on the road that evening. The office staff was super friendly and promised to try to do all that they could to get me in even though I didnt have an appointment, despite the fact that they were closing early for the holiday. The tech, Daniel, even went above and beyond by working straight through his lunch break in order to get the job done. I cant say enough about how impressed I was with their performance in every area. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else to have my glass replaced in my personal or company vehicle. Thank you so much to everyone involved for making this otherwise awful experience an enjoyable one.
