Me and my mother went to this store because I usually purchase my regular shimmer lights shampoo. I recently got my hair redone with beautiful blonde highlights. Me and my mom were looking around and we grab our items needed when a lady that works there mentioned that we should purchase another shampoo and a “conditioner” instead. The item she suggested was in fact not conditioner, but a blue hair masque. She kept persuading us so we give in because she said it would remove the yellow from my hair since the product was blue(because my hair was dark before it needed to lighten up). We purchase our items and a couple days later I was washing my hair and I used the items she suggested and it turn my hair BLUE!!!! I have never been more disappointed in my life. I spent $150 on getting my hair done and it gets ruined because I was provided with false information. Me and my mother made many phone calls to make sure she gets fired. Just a warning to be careful who you listen to at this place because you might end up with messed up hair.

They accused my husband of stealing all because he left and came back because he was scared to get me the wrong thing I asked for. Geez definitely don’t recommend this location at all.
Ok so I’m reading all these bad reviews during this pandemic you guys should be grateful they are willing to be open for your convenience, another thing it says (hours may differ)and it clearly says it’s curbside only. The employees are doing the best they can, no they aren’t able to answer the phone but an employee gave me a call back and they have to take care of online orders and must be completed before helping us who may I add are supposed to be home. So I’m putting this out there be compassionate you don’t know the stress they are in since they don’t get to stay home.

Have to call around 15 times to reach anyone, and when an employee answered on 4/19 afternoon, they claimed that they couldnt take my order because theres one persons ahead of me, and they would have to take my number to call back. They didnt call after 3 hours so I called again around 10 times to reach them, and they claimed that they tried to call but didnt go through and that theyd call me back again. I left both mine and my boyfriends number for them to call, and never got a call back on either phones. I dont understand why they even answer the phone if they wont take take orders until later? Also why they pretend theyd call you back. Its a huge waste of time for both customers and employees.Today 4/20 I tried calling again to place an order and when an employee answered they said hello is this ___ I said no and they immediately hung up. Been trying to call again but the line hasnt gone through... its been such a waste of time and effort and I cant imagine how frustrated all customers feel.
I was here before covid- and due to poor customer service I went to the Wible location which I was greeted with very happy and knowledgable staff. I was sadden to find out after reopening for covid that the Wible store is now a outlet for the Sallys stores and that they wouldnt carry the normal hair color that the others did. Forcing me to go into the Rosedale location. The girls that work the counter are very unpleasant and act very annoyed if you ask for any guidance in the store. Saying they cant go into the isles when customers are in the store, when everyone is wearing masks. Clearly annoyed that she had to walk around the counter to help me. I know times are tough doesnt mean establishments slack on their people skills.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and always knows exactly what my wife needs for her hair. My wife is that type of woman who enjoys changing her hair color once every year or two but when she does it’s a drastic change and she looks so flipping beautiful when she goes through Sally’s to get the die, bleach, developer, and they always have great sales when you’re a member! Would definitely recommend the store for anybody looking to change it up a bit!
This doesnt deserve a star.I am grateful the place it open during this time, but it does not give them the excuse to not pay attention and tell customer details. I asked for a perminate hair color not semi but perminate. So instead of telling me they did not have perminate only semi. She tells me okay I buy it over the phone through my card. I get the hair dye & its semi, something I did not want and I would not have of purchased if knowing So. I now wasted 20 dollars, yes only 20 dollars but she tries to tell me well were super busy & cant return. If you know your customers cant return the products at this time then pay attention! Im sorry I was a customer so I should of been taking care of just like any other customer.
Went to this curbside pickup and clearly we aren’t allowed in the store so I called ahead of time . When I got there they were still open and tried to talk to an employee out there and she completely ignored me and others. We thought maybe she didn’t hear or see (we were the only ones there) so we tried again but she continued to ignore us then wrote a sign that said closed and walked away . Very rude
Before I make this review I am assuming that it will be deleted since the truth hurts. I visited this Sallys on White Lane. I was looking for a good shampoo that is color safe. I spoke to a manager named Glenda which she shouldve recommend one for me. This so called manager is rude mean and plain ugly. She refused to help me, I do not understand how this company hires idiots like her without no education or manners. Perhaps she has a low self esteem and treats customers bad. This person Glenda is just plain rude and ugly. It looks like she came from the ghetto.IF THIS REVIEW IS DELETED IT IS BECAUSE IT IS STATING THE TRUTH.
It says it’s open for curbside only but when you call the store no one answers, it rings once and the the line gets disconnected
I had imediate help, a knowledgeable sales associate listened to my needs and gave me what i needed for my thin fingernails and she also let me know that they would take the product back if i didnt have results using it as advised! Very satisfied!

Worst experience ever says there opened online but accually only for curbside yet says nothing about that on there website.Then when you try to knock on the door to figure out whats going on all these rude girls just stare at you no acknowledgement at all rudest employees Ive ever experienced!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been calling for weeks now and no one seems to answer the phones!! Why have the option to “pickup” if no one answers the phone to even order anything!!!!

I visited the Sallys on Rosedale Hwy in Bakersfield. I was looking for hair supplies and nail polish. The store looks clean and the hair products are suppose to be good for your hair, especially if you have a sensitive scalp. Unfortunately, the manager thats suppose to manage this store at this location, is very rude. Her name is Gloria. I have observed her several times and all she does instead of providing excellent/ good customer service, is bad customer service. First of all, she will give a customer a hard time when you cant find your receipt. Besides giving customers a hard time by arguing she gives people dirty looks as they come into the store. She does not help customers at all. In other words, she provides horrible customer service. I do not understand why this company would even hire someone with a very bad attitude or especially make them a manager. This manager needs to get some people skills or something. She just worries about feeding her fat self with so many fast foods that are around the Sallys location. Also, remember her name is Gloria. I personally, have to shop at another store from now on. This woman makes this Sallys look bad.
