When youre not supposed to close till midnight and you close over 10 minutes early. then dont post the time that you closing midnight when you dont thats a lie and false advertisement and a joke.

Hot fried food in foam container, melted the foam and looks like it contaminated my food, Wasted a 20 dollar bill minus some change.

Do not order Drizly with them. Never delivered and denied having the order. Gave them a second chance the next day, same story.

My elderly mother gets here propane tank refills here. The person usually grabs the tank for her and throws it in the trunk until today. The young and very healthy looking girl told her to grab her own tank from the top shelf my mom did it and almost feel over it was so heavy.I was in the car but i wasnt paying attention i never have had to before. My mom had to yell for help while the girl stood there. Sad just sad.

I was in the store when a crazy homeless women arrive to the store in closing time and start screaming, the genteel man asked her to leave the store nicely, she started to take pictures when she went outside the store and she said she going to leave a bad review on Google, it was around 11:57 and I think its the same woman how left a bad review under name : Renee Fuller.We love this store and we dont want the wrong people to effect on the reviews.Thanks for giving your valuable time to read this.

I have been coming to this store to purchase items for 2 yrs. I had an issue with a purchase and it was taken care of. The staff was very nice and friendly. The owner took care of the issue and I am satisfied with the solution. Thank you.

This owner always tries to keep this store and large parking lot clean and free of pan handlers, one of the better gas stations in oildale, they have fresh food here and the workers are always friendly despite having to deal with the disgruntled community

They were cool until they accused My family of stealing a charger and stopped the gas pump after coming out and causing a fiasco. Really? Steal a 10$ charger for what? Just an embarrassment.

Great place good food

Empire has such a good location but man what a drag. Its riddled with homeless people and panhandlers. A couple times I was tempted to give them change just because I didnt want them to mess with my car when I went in to pay for gas. They can get aggressive sometimes. Theres also a storm drain that everyone just uses as a trash can so it really smells on the corner when youre crossing the streets. They dont have good service like a couple of the other stores around, really dont have anything positive to say. Prices are typical, service is mediocre, selection is average.

Most of the time when I go they have you know very good people working n everything but Im struggling right now and I called to see how much a gallon of milk is in case I dont have enough change that way I can go and ask somebody for the rest and they wont even tell me how much a gallon of milk is over the phone now thats bad customer service thats crazy why would they want somebody to have to walk all the way over there just to find out they dont even have enough and then they have to go and ask somebody else and then go back to the store and get some milk thats so RAW

Its great the snacks are delicious and the prices are cheap but the one thing that they should improve is theres ton of people but theres only 2 cashiers I know they work hard but at least add another register in the middle between them.Another than that its great!😸

I arrived at 11:49 & the guy said they were closed and was very rude. The posted hours are 5 a m to 12 a m. Im going to have to walk 6 more blocks from my house to the Fastrip and home from There! And Im 63 years old and dont need the excitement. Im disgusted. Does it LOOK CLOSED???? I took the pretty pictures. Thats my dog, Bonny.☹️🌵😑 Update: I went in to purchase a pack of cigarettes and the same Jerk was working again and told me IM BANNED 😠 FROM EMPIRE BECAUSE I WROTE A CRITICAL REVIEW.
