Excellent service and the meat department is amazing! Prices cant be beat and the daily deals are good, too. I go here at least once a week to pick up meat and other things.

This is the spot! The parking is a little inconvenient but its totally worth it. Anything you order is going to be authentic and delicious. Exactly what youre looking for in a Mexican carniceria/marketa/restaurant. If youre going through Bakersfield this is a must stop.

When you order food and say the order in Spanish just to minimize any error you would think they could make the order right. I order a tripa burrito and specified to make them crispy. The tripas arent cleaned nor cooked right, very chewy. Definitely will not bring my work crew to eat here again. These guy are the same owners as Los Reyes on Union food there is better but the meat is not all Harris meat. First hand know the person that orders for the store.

The meat was very dry, and the personality of the workers were very poor, and no offense to any of them, Im in Latin American but Im an educated Hispanic, when you get one from Mexico they act like we owe them, when they should be very lucky theyre just not caught by being a immigrant that they are!!! But you get those like myself born and raised here in California and being a smart Hispanic, I feel that their personality and its very poor that they should move back to Mexico where they belong, they should be lucky that theyre working.And living 30 of them in one 500 sqft. home. If the DAs notified theyll make sure that they go back!! Im just being honest, cause Im Hispanic, Ill tell the truth and only, the truth.

Carnitas and chile verde were good choices. Tasty and large portions. Outdoor seating only. Its a grocery store but dont let that discourage you. Aguas frescas available.

This place has great food. I cant stop eating here, buying there burritos... The establishment is clean and the service is on point.. I recommend it to those who want real Mexican food or Mexican goods.

Cosido was fantastic!!! They used beef rib instead of espenaso. The chicharron burrito was very good 👍👌😋Lunch was awesome 👌

I hate to do this. I been going to this spot for almost 5 years now. I recently ordered the usual, Tripas. The Tripas this time around tasted horrible, chewy and tasted just like limon. It was so bad I had to throw them away in the trash. They must have hired the same cook that worked at Carniceria La Carreta, because they taste exactly the same, like Trash! I dont know if you hired a different cook, if so please re-hire him. This spot went from the best Tripas in town, to the worst Tripas in Town. I feel bad because, I just recently recommended this spot to a bunch friends. I really hope they dont go now, not until they figure out how to properly make Tripas again.

Bread racks were mostly empty with a limited selection. The fried pork with meat was expensive but did taste good. Store itself is clean and cashiers are prompt in serving you. Butcher counter looks fresh and ready to serve.

The food is good, but if they say they are going to be open at 6 in the morning. They should be open at 6 in the morning!

I spotted by to try their famous carnitas, to be honest they were too salty. I can see these being amazing if it wasnt for tge extra salt. The staff was helpful and it they helped me choose between tge salsa rija and verde and habanero. They have a wide selection of meats which maybe Ill be back to try some day. Over all tge store look nicely stocked and clean. But tge catnitas could have been better.

I like this place, the food is good and they have a daily special. Mondays are burritos for5 bucks, really good to start the week. The only thing I dont like is they charge 50 cents for using a debit card, bummer.

I was pleasantly surprised by the business given the location. The place was clean, organized, and had good variety as a small grocery store. Had the Carne Asada Burrito with an Arizona for lunches. The burrito was always nicely packed and easy to eat in my car.

Super flavorful & fresh at great prices! Large burritos & quesadillas. Employees were super friendly! Food comes with real plates/forks, so it doesnt feel cheap and theres no waste. Anytime were in the area well be back 👍👍

I come here for the tacos. They have some of the best tacos in town. The red salsa is spicy and delicious and they have a good flavor. Would 100% recommend this place to everyone.

Good place to grab some Meat, they have a big selection of meats. Mini mart style Mexican grab n go produce.beer n drinks plus charcoal n other basic needs. The meat was good. BBQ sessionThey also have a onsite kitchen. I did not try the food but was somewhat busy. So based on other experiences that’s a good sign of good food being served.

This is a very friendly, bilingual place. They have great marinated chicken thighs and yummy carne asada. Today we had tacos at the lunch counter and they were also delicious!

Stopped by today to have a quick bite and I was quite impressed. Carnitas frescas!. Freshly cooked and almost made to order. Very clean dining area. I recommend the buche tacos. The meat is well cooked and make sure to ask for salsa verde.

Mondays they have five dollar burritos and tuesday dollar tacos, makes for a great lunch stop, since even when busy theyre fairly quick. Their pastor is very flavorful and my top reccomendation among for their tacos.

Ive only been once on the suggestion of a friend. Food didnt blow my mind but was definitely good.

Pretty good. The salsa Verde was great, it was spicy but not too spicy and it was the right viscosity. I really enjoyed the carne asada tacos, except there is a bit too many fatty parts. The tacos de lengua were alright. It had a variety of drinks to select from and I like that they had coca cola in the glass bottle. Id like to go back and taste the menudo.

Took about 30 mins to get the food and the tortillas are dry. Its an ok place to eat. Its shared with a mini liquor.

The meat was really good. The Ranchera was beautiful.
