One star, because they wouldnt let me give them 0. I made two appointments for my kids to get the Covid Vaccine. They could only find one in the system. I asked if I could get the other child done as a walk-in, and even though it states they accept walk-ins with a wait, they would not allow us to get the other shot. I had to go to a different CVS to get it done....Plus, the store itself is dirty and the PA system is terribly loud staticky. There were only two people at the pharmacy, so the line was really long and there are no restrooms available for people to use!! This store is ridiculous.

This is supposed to be 1/2 a star that’s only because the store is in my neighborhood. This pharmacy really sucks. The Dr. called in a prescription around 1pm here it is 9:48pm and I’ve been on hold for 20mins nobody picks up the phone and they close at 10pm. Answer the phone that’s why they gave them to your department. Please hire people who want to work clearly non of them even like their jobs. I hate this place. This is every time with these people 🤬🤬🤬
Trash pharmacist or whoever that is giving vaccines. Just trash.
My store to shop, close by and easy to find parking. Staff is helpful and friendly, and always available.
This place never answers the phone and never calls customer when prescriptions are ready I would recommend to choose another pharmacy
Pharmacy doesn’t open on time and despite online and vaccine hotline stating walk ins welcome at all CVS locations they would not. Even when I had an appointment for my 1st dose I waited over 30 minutes. Only one of the two vaccinations booths are in use. CVS should use some of the money they are getting from all these vaccines and hire additional staff to accommodate more appointments and walk ins in the second booth.
Refused me and my fiancée our COVID vaccinations after speaking to them THE DAY BEFORE and being told we could walk right in and receive it. I thought the pharmacy was supposed to supply medicine to customers. All this pharmacy is good for is REFUSING MEDICATIONS
Several years ago I used this pharmacy for a short while but changed to another pharmacy for several reasons. The main reasons is the staff is kind of rude and there is always issues with filling your prescriptions. You can see from the other reviews this place is quite bad.The reason I am writing this review is to share my recent experience with this CVS in Balch Springs, TX. Due to my recent health care insurance company changes I am now required to use a CVS pharmacy and since this CVS is closest to me from where I live I decided to give them another chance.To prevent any delays my doctor spoke to CVS on the phone 2 times to make sure my insurance information was on their files. A 3rd time a person from CVS called me to get my insurance even though they were given it two times already. My doctor sent my prescription to CVS a week later. I called CVS the next day to see if my prescription was ready. I was told that they received the prescription and had to send it to CVS specialty and it would take about a week. I was ok with that, I know my prescription is a specialty item. What bothered me was after the 3 phone calls they still had my old insurance information from years ago.Now two weeks later I go to the CVS to get my prescription. They showed me some printout to show they sent in my prescription and still waiting on CVS specialty. I called CVS specialty and they told me they didnt receive anything. CVS specialty called the CVS on Elam rd and it turns out CVS in Balch Springs flat out lied to me about sending it in.If you can I would avoid the CVS in Balch Springs. They are unreliable, dishonest and rude.
My dad had his vaccine done here and they hit a nerve ever since hes been in pain this store is going to be shut down pretty quickly.

Pharmacy- if I could leave no starts I would. I always have a hard time pickup In drive thru at this location. Definitely will be taking my business elsewhere.They act like doing their job is difficult.Once you tell them that you don’t mind the wait. They will be rude even though the automated system is giving you a call telling you your prescription is ready.
This is by far the WORST CVS I have ever been to. Even my doctor asks if I’m sure if I want to fill a script there because they are constantly out of stock on the most basic and common of medications.I was told by someone that answered the phone that they would fill the script at 7pm... I came the next day and was told they were out of stock. Most CVS’s would let you know as soon as they do. They’re sorry.
Very bad service the restrooms are nasty
I am a PCP. I was trying to help a patient fill his prescription for a glucometer. Sandra answered the phone, and did not even ask for the patients name or DOB before telling me that whatever he had was invalid. I have never had an issue with my generic prescription for diabetic supplies. Instead of explaining what the problem was based off the patients insurance, she was incredibly rude and patronizing. Sandra might want to join a career that does not have to do with customer service, especially when said customers are just trying to help keep their patients healthy.
Took time out of my busy schedule to get a COVID exam. Scheduled it the day before and received emails and texts confirming my appt. After arriving and waiting in line for 20 minutes the pharmacist told me they couldn’t find my appointment and they told me I needed to reschedule. Very rude individuals.

A little bit of a wait (10 min) for the drive-thru, medication will be ready by the next day, they say, and next day they call me to tell me that medication is out of stock. Good thing it wasnt essential.
I love the staff. Always super nice. Of all the years living in the area, not one complain from me. Well, I do have a complain, they close at 930pm. I have to drive 15 more mins for a 24hr store that is not in the safest place to be.
Service can be a little slow, but no slower than at other pharmacies. Havent had any bad experiences.
Pharmacy manager, and store manager are trash. Do yourself a favor turn around and drive across the street to krogers pharmacy. Where they will treat you with respect and take better care of you!
I went to the store to fill a prescription for an inhaler and was turned away only for my stepmom to call and them tell her they have it. I was left on hold for over 5 minutes and whoever I spoke to was very very rude. It’s ridiculous that someone receives that type of treatment at a place where health should be the ONLY concern.
Customer service is very poor. The store manager is rude in a passive aggressive way and they rush you off the phone. Don’t bother waiting on hold because they will leave you there for dead.
So I called pharmacy and spoke to a lady around 2:15pm and I asked her how much was it in total for my medication and I only had 2 different pills she tells me the price for each and I’m driving and talking with her in phone same time going back to work from lunch so don’t have much time and I asked her politely ok how much will it be in total together her response “I don’t know” with an attitude 🙄 like okay you don’t know what’s the total nor have a calculator near by? Lol I mean it was just two prices. This is bad service . She couldn’t just say “sorry I don’t have a calculator or the system won’t show the total then I’ll be ok thanks. But instead I get a “I don’t know” with an attitude 😒.

The pharmacists are incredibly rude. I was told they were out of a prescription I need, so I requested they ordered it about a week before refill time. Come to get meds - nope. And it was a medicine that causes god awful withdrawal symptoms very quickly. One pharmacist did a partial refill for no reason and refused to fix the mistake. Everyone is always on their phone playing games.
Just started back going here. The location was not hard to find, the service was good and the people are friendly. Looking around they have all your pharmacy needs and more. UPDATE. They lost my prescription and I am out of meds. I am so MAD. F them. Ill never go here AGAIN.
Pretty good cvs. They offer all the products you would expect a cvs would have. The customer service is not bad but not good either. The photo center is always closed, hard to operate, and you have to wait a long time for a employee to help you out. The pharmacy service is good and they usually give you your prescription later that same day or the next day. However, picking up prescriptions takes so much time especially during the afternoon. The line is so long and some people start to argue with the workers when they dont have the needed identification or payment to pick up their prescription. At least a 30 min. wait around 5PM.

Bad Service ...Never answer the phone and when they did they disconect the call, medicine is never ready at the time they promise you...and i give you 1 star cause theres no 0 I do not Recommend this pharmacy at all no way .... and no Spanish Speaking.... This is the worst pharmacy ever. Ive called 5 times to this pharmacy to get my prescription filled and they keep telling me they dont have it. Ive called my doctors office and they have already faxed the request 3 times and the nurse called to confirm it was received. When I called the last time Tim said they got the faxed prescription but they couldnt read what it was. Then they tell me Im not even in the system when this is the only pharmacy I use. Never going back here again. The people in the pharmacy are idiots. They need to work on their customer service, their tone is always rude.Update: I went to a different CVS and they didnt have one issue with my prescription.
Dropped my prescription off at 5:00 PM on November 21, 2017, with my prescription discount card. Was told it would be ready at 6. Get there, they can not find it. It was never put in. Had to wait almost 30 minutes to get it. And then they wanted me to wait longer for my discount card because that wasnt put in the system either. Same thing happened to the three people in front of me. Will not be going back here. And it was completely filthy inside. As if whoever works there does believe in cleaning.

CVS corporate needs to check out this one. Items on shelves in disarray. Some items were even dusty. Employees busy talking and texting on their personal phones. Worst one I have seen and I really like most of them.
CVS Phamarcy Elam Rd Balch Springs, TX what are you guys doing ? Who is training the staff or is the staff trained at all? If I call in asking if my prescription is ready for pickup, don’t just tell me yes to rush me off the phone. Then I arrive to pickup the prescription “pharmacy technician states “oh we don’t have it ready” The manager walks over and said we don’t accept BCBS. You got to be kidding me. Ashton Kutcher where are you? I know I’m on pranked. Very unorganized for a Forture 500 company. Let’s just say I will be filling my prescriptions elsewhere. Horrible experience!!

Pharmacy was the worst. Everyone that worked in their was very rude. Lady on the phone was very rude to whoever she was talking to rolling her eyes the entire time. They told me my medicine would be ready in 30 minutes and came back and told me an hour. They were very disrespectful I ended up calling another pharmacy and getting it transferred to them. Will never shop in there store again.
A short distance from many residential neighborhoods in the surrounding area, this store allows those more intermediate needs are met. Customer care is top notch, and there usually isnt a line.
I have been trying to call for 2 days. No one answers the phone. Current hold time is 28 minutes!
Make sure you count your pills they tried to give me 28 of my 84 pills. Which meant I had to stand in line AGAIN. So frustrating.
Pharmacy is terrible. My doctor has to call in prescriptions 2-3 times before they claim they have it. When I call the hold is long. When you get to the store customer service is lacking tremendously. Ill be switching pharmacies.
I dropped off my prescription at 2pm and was told it would be ready by 6pm. I went to the store at 8pm to pick it up and there was a hand written sign on the drive thru window saying to come inside. I did and was told my perscription wasnt ready. I had to wait another 30 minutes to get my medication that should have been ready 2 hours earlier. The guy was nice about it but maybe were expecting too much from pharmacists that have to close their drive-thur window.

Cashier was just sitting on his phone watching videos and I could hear it and it had profanity. Poor customer service. Get off your phone and pay attention to your customers. I went 6/11/16 around noon.

Pharmacy NEVER answers the phone. They do not fill prescription in a timely manner. You might have towait a week just to get one prescription. Staff is very rude customer service lacking.

Very unprofessional, the pharmacist made a mistake that I shouldnt have, he changed my babys medicine, he gave me drops that were for the ears instead of drops for the eyes and I put them on my baby like my eyes. He said, 2 hours later they call me from the pharmacy to tell me that they had made a mistake that will take the drops back because they were going to give me others! What are professionals not supposed to be? It is the life of a child and the eyes that is a part of great care and especially in a baby! 😡 And on another occasion in the same pharmacy I went to fill the urgent prescription for my son and they told me that they had it ready until the next day apart from incompetent too lazy! 😡
It is very slow to fill the medication, and always battle because the medication sent by the doctor always say that there is no prescription to fill, it is very annoying to go and never have the medication ready, or even worse that you find a prescription to fill, I do not recommend this pharmacy very slow and bad service
