Awesome - I love the way everything is packaged, packed and organized and I love that there is a section for vegan and vegetarian options!! The food is high quality and priced the same as stop n shop. Very impressed with the oasis brand of food there!

Most things are always in stock, the place is spacious, impeccably clean and checkout is always a breeze. Love it here!

Nice store but i had an issue with a sale price. The manager removed the sign and said i could not get it because it ended on the 19th of Nov and today is the 23rd of Nov! It is not my fault that the staff was too lazy to remove the sign four days ago! I should have been honored the sale price...

Finally found beef ribs we been looking for!!....shopped here because I told a customer of mine that I lived in Baldwin and she asked if I shop here. Well... now I do...store is spotless! Clean and you dont have to climb over unstocked items to get to what you need....did not have that same feeling I had going to the bigger chains of getting the virus because of an over crowded store....plenty of fresh produce much variety.

Everything is fresh, the people who work there are soAccommodating to my needs. They’re so friendly and helpful. The store is very clean and they deliver my groceries when I’m finished shopping which is a Godsend for me because I am handicapped. It’s good to be the Queen!

Great produce selection, always clean, and the salespeople are lovely. There is a few items that I would consider staples (breakfast granola bars, a big brand of jarred olives etc) that surprisingly arent on the shelves. Cold cuts are pricier here than other local grocery stores, but they do have other specialty items and a GREAT fresh fish selection that makes up for it!

The grocery store is new to the Baldwin area but its one of the better ones around and the cleanest by far. The juice bar is awesome, you order your juice, go shopping and they will bring it to you & serve you as you shop (have to ask if the juice person is in). The eggs and juices are always low priced and the rest of the items are fair to moderate. The seafood area looks clean and has a nice selection including squid. There are lots of items even some rare to find fruits and Spanish vegetables i the produce section. Overall never a bad place to try out and they have FREE delivery.

Very disappointed! They used to be my favorite store. The workers are great, always somebody stocking the shelves, or someone is always nearby if I have a question. But lately, especially in this time of need, I feel like everything is overpriced.

They have a good produce section at good prices! I even was able to get organic milk in a glass bottle. Hope traffic picks up in the store so that turnaround will stay consistent. Nice to see a quality store open up in the neighborhood. Check out has been very quick the few times I shopped there. Much better then Stop and Shop. Keep up the good work!

I love this local grocery store. There is a great selection for its size. The fresh fruit and veggies always seem to be fresher and more tasty than the stuff I get at the larger supermarket. Its always clean. The prices are good. And lastly but not least, they use sturdy plastic bags that dont rip or tear easily. I can reuse use them to clean the litter pans.

Gala is a one stop store. The meats and fish are of the best quality. Denise the manager is wonderful. The sale items always in stock.

I love Gala Fresh Farms. This site has had so many incarnations. I hope this will be the home of Gala Fresh for many years to come. It is a great supermarket with all the usual products, produce, deli, great meat department, etc. In addition, there are many unusual items. There are health foods, international foods, an entire seafood department and more. Tuesday is Senior day so thats our day to shop. The prices are reasonable, too. Hope to see you there.

Great place love how fresh the food is and how clean the location is

This is a small store but well organized and exceedingly clean. Its not a great place for value shopping as many brand names and common household goods are rarely on sale and are usually retail priced. Instead the store excels at stocking more unique and niche goods, many of which are imported. This is a great place to discover new brands. The seafood- although expensive- is on point.The prepared foods are excellent as well and boast amazing variety. Ive picked up prepared sushi on par with restaurants in Manhattan. Finally, the staff are usually very friendly. This location is definitely worth a repeat visit, but not as a replacement for a supermarket or wholesale store (nor should it be). Im glad that this store made it to Baldwin.

Great grocery store for the community. Its small but the produce is always so fresh. They are very active with the community, providing free rides to and from the store, as well as delivery. They also host fun events for the community. I would have given it 5 stars, but on 3 occasions I have walk out with expired items and had to return them, so check the expiration dates!!

Brand new store. I was visiting from Florida. Produce department was very inviting. Deli counter had more things readlier available for you to run in and out. Manager was over the top with helping me. Recommend Gala to everyone.

I Love Gala in Baldwin. I call it the Gala Friendly Experience! Not only do they have an enticing beautifully colored fruit and vegetable department, Everything is Fresh! The Staff is Kind and Friendly. If you need help they stop what theyre doing and gladly assist you. Oh, and if you forget your mask, they have one at the main desk.They are also One of the Most Well Kept and Cleanest Supermarket Around! In my book an easy 10. Thank You Gala of Baldwin!

Great shiny supermarket. Fresh made bakery, giant selection of products from vegetables, cold cut...... with lower $$$. Bought a homemade lunch box from deli counter around $6 or $8, such huge portion enough to feed of two 😁😁 .

Good produce. Although this is a small market, its better for selection than many of the farm-labeled markets around, and reasonably priced. Lines are short and service is generally courteous.

Beautiful store good selection for foods I like there produce section however I must warn anyone who my have food allergies please be careful the pre made salads I had from there were very good but the dressing they put with the salad I had a allergic reaction to that. But other wise the store is great 👍

My husband has visited this store twice already and he cant stop talking about how clean,neat and reasonable the prices are. Also the fact that all of the fish are Wild Caught except Tilapia because they arent grown in the wild of course. He purchased me a fruit bowl during one of his visits and it was absolutely delicious and fresh. I was beyond pleased.

Gala Fresh has the freshest produce. The store is always extremely clean. However, they need to work on getting fresher milk and cheese products.

Gala fresh is one of the best grocery stores on Long Island it is clean it is well-lit it has a public bathroom its prices are excellent Its Deli is fresh as is the produce. They have their own in-house Butcher and an in-house Fish Department where they can even cook your fish while you are shopping. The shells are always well stocked, and this bilingual staff definitely a plus for the community will always help you find something or see if it is in the back prices are excellent parking is very ample, and every August they have a customer appreciation day with food vendors from their own products and Raffles at music and free food and face painting definitely definitely the place to be in August. The aisles are spacious and they offer a great variety of food

Love this supermarket, everything is always fresh. The only issue is when buying meats you have to be super careful with the expiration dates because its usually just a couple days away.

Outstanding!!! Really enjoy shopping at the Baldwin Gala. We lost the Walbaums down in Baldwin Harbor replaced with a crappy Stop and Shop. After a few weeks of buying stale fruits and being deceived at the counter I thought I give Gala a try. During my first visit I noticed the cleanliness and great customer service have been shopping at this location ever since. What I really enjoy the free delivery option my wife uses when she shops with the children.

The supermarket is clean and spacious. The supermarket provided lots of variety for food. The have a gourmet section for cheeses that not all supermarkets in the area have.

This is a KeyFood subsidiary. Its clean, bright, well stocked. Employees stay on top of the place. And Hooked Seafood Emporium in the back on the left is the absolute best for fresh seafood. The only place I buy from.

Good store friendly staff, good selection

I find Gala Market to be one of the better supermarkets in the Freeport, Baldwin area. The employees are VERY accommodating the store is VERY clean, the prices are are comparable. The aisles are not cluttered with the usual pop up displays, so you can shop without dodging displays.

$2.00 for 5 lbs of potatoes. One baked potato at Wendys? $2.00! And very efficient Western Union transaction.

The deli is superb if you need a charcuterie platter, and the produce and bread options are fresh. Worth the trip!
